Original Article

Senior Biden adviser Cedric Richmond will depart the White House to work for the Democratic National Committee (DNC) next month, Fox News has confirmed.  Richmond served as the director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, and also as a senior adviser to President Biden. He will take an advisory role at the DNC starting in May, a Biden adviser told Fox News.  "I am thrilled that the President has entrusted me with helping boost the robust work already being done at the DNC to make sure that Democrats grow their majorities in the House and Senate, and increase the number of Democratic governors in state capitals around the country," CORRECTION *

Comments:

With a complete lack of self-awareness as to why they're so deeply unpopular, the White House staff purges a voice of reason and digs their hole a few inches deeper.

Boys and girls, Richmond was an anti-progressive, concerned that they were taking over the Dem Party, and was caught criticizing AOC, etc. Someone - Klain? - booted him from the WH. FTA: Richmond's departure comes one day after reports that he criticized Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. and her fellow "squad" members as “f****ng idiots" after the 2020 election. New York Times reporters Alexander Burns and Jonathan Martin reported Richmond's comments in their new book on the 2020 election, which is set to release next Tuesday. Excerpts obtained by Fox Digital on Monday say that Richmond was among the foremost critics in Biden's orbit of the Democratic Party's progressive wing. Richmond previously served as a Democratic congressman from Louisiana, and it was on a phone call with a Louisiana ally that he reportedly made the scathing remarks about Ocasio-Cortez and Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich. Democrats have long squabbled over how to interpret the results of the 2020 election. Biden and many of his allies criticized the party's radical left wing, saying the "Defund the Police" movement and pro-socialism language "beat the living hell" out of Democrats on Election Day.

When you refer to what the dem administration has done as 'robust work to make sure to grow their majorities', you've proven how delusional and out of touch with the real world you are,, and how unfit for government service you are!

As anyone who has ever been caught in its gears can tell you, the great American outrage machine is a remarkable thing. One day you´re having dinner with your family, imagining everything is fine. The next, your phone is exploding with calls from reporters. They read you snippets from a press release written by Democratic Party operatives. They demand to know how you could possibly have said something so awful and offensive, and ask something like, "Do you have a statement on how immoral you are?" It´s a bewildering moment, especially when the quotes in question are more than a decade

President Joe Biden is banning traditional incandescent lightbulbs in a push to be more energy efficient, but critics claim the switch to LED alternatives will prove costly for poorer Americans. The Department of Energy (DOE) adopted two new rules Tuesday that strengthen energy efficiency standards for lightbulbs and will effectively phase out the sale of traditional bulbs by next year. However, consumer analysts allege that not only are LED bulbs more expensive, costing nearly $4 each as opposed to $1 for an incandescent bulb, but are often not stocked in stores in lower-income communities. Around 30 percent of the two billion bulbs sold in the US every year are incandescent.

The funds will be put toward a “Legacy of Slavery Fund” to continue researching and memorializing the history, in part by working with descendants of black and Native American people enslaved at Harvard and their broader communities. The announcement follows the release of a report from the Presidential Initiative on Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery project, which Bacow commissioned in 2019. “Harvard benefited from and in some ways perpetuated practices that were profoundly immoral,” Bacow said in an email to the university’s students, faculty and staff members obtained

Russia's top diplomat has warned that NATO is now fighting a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine and there is a 'very serious' risk the conflict could turn nuclear. Sergei Lavrov, speaking on Russian state TV last night, accused western leaders of risking a third world war by supplying heavy weapons to Ukraine with the goal of 'wearing down the Russian army'—an aim he described as an 'illusion'. Accusing NATO and its allies of attempting to bully Russia on the international stage, Lavrov said that tensions between east and west are now worse than during the Cuban missile crisis at the height of the Cold War. Attorney General Merrick Garland on Tuesday said there will “not be interference of any political or improper kind” in the Justice Department’s investigation into Hunter Biden’s business dealings. Senator Bill Hagerty (R., Tenn.) questioned the attorney general about the investigation into President Biden’s son during a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing, asking whether Garland himself had been briefed on the investigation. Garland replied that the probe is being led by David Weiss, the U.S. attorney in Wilmington, Delaware who was appointed by former President Donald Trump. “I’m aware of that, but he reports to you,” Hagerty said.
