New York City Mayor Eric Adams and the NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell have been skewered for trying to take credit for the arrest of subway shooting suspect Frank James on Wednesday when it was a 21-year-old security worker who spotted him and alerted police after James himself called police, saying: 'I heard you were looking for me.' James was taken into custody on Wednesday on 1st Avenue between 7th and 8th Streets after a by-stander recognized him and called police. His arrest on Wednesday brings an end to an embarrassing and fruitless day-long manhunt by the FBI and NYPD. He was marched out of the 9th Precinct

I saw a little of the media press conference. The NY politicians were congratulating themselves, patting each other on the back and complimenting each other for doing a good job.

When you get down to the bottom line on this guy, it’s is very possible with as long a criminal record as he reportedly has, along with being a mental case, that under the current federal gun control laws that he was not qualified to possess a firearm, and under the stringent NY gun control laws he definitely was not qualified to possess a firearm on the streets of New York City or in the New York subway system. So in other words he illegally possessed an illegal gun. This just another indication that further gun control laws are just a hindrance to law abiding people being able to possess firearms as criminals and terrorists simply do not obey those laws. We probably won’t hear much from Biden or his White House crew about this crime as the perpetrator was not a White Supremacist but appears to have actually be a Black Supremacist who the liberal media, in their politically correct mode yesterday was calling the perpetrator a dark skinned gentleman, and even the New York Police Commissioner was referring to him as being a dark skinned “person of interest” even though he had just shot 10 people?

Democrat leadership created and encouraged this kind of hatred. Their words have had a devastating effect on some in the population who run on emotion. Those commentators and politicians who pop off at the mouth in the most vile ways are responsible for what they say. They encourage hate and even stir it up on purpose. So it is no surprise when their words fester in the hearts and minds of the vulnerable. I do not watch the liberal cable news networks but when clips are shown, I am appalled that anyone would speak like they do. It is irresponsible to allow that kind of hate to go out over the air. Black “intellectuals” are especially guilty of this racial hatred and when you are allowed to spew this poison, someone is going to drink it. I have never seen or heard any caucasian on television spew animosity like the talking heads on CNN, MSNBC, etc. Feed the unthinking masses a diet of hate and you will reap this kind of result.

This afternoon ABC news was reporting that the authorities have no idea why he did it and are investigating by talking to people who know him. I’ve only heard a couple of quick sound bites from his social media screeds and it’s obvious that his motive was anti-white and anti-Asian racism. But the NYC authorities can’t bring themselves to mention that. Kinda like when Muslims shoot up Christmas parties and the authorities can’t figure out the motive. I’m so sick of this.

Democrats are facing a nightmare scenario with about six months to go before the midterm elections. Inflation, immigration, the war in Ukraine and the still-lingering COVID-19 pandemic make for a dreadful political atmosphere for President Biden’s party. The problems are compounded by Biden’s weak approval numbers and the historical pattern whereby a president’s party typically loses seats in the first midterms of his tenure. Some Democrats believe a turnaround is still possible, or at least that losses can be kept modest. But others, granted anonymity to speak candidly, sound a louder alarm.
