President Joe Biden is abandoning a campaign vow to alter longstanding US nuclear doctrine, and will instead embrace existing policy that reserves America's right to use nukes in a first-strike scenario, according to multiple reports. As Russian forces continue their bloody assault on Ukraine, Biden is under pressure from NATO allies not to abandon the right to use nuclear weapons to deter conventional attacks.Since the Cold War, American policy has allowed for first-strike use of nuclear weapons under 'extreme circumstances,' such as responding to an invasion by conventional forces, or chemical or biological attacks.

He just hasn't had a nap yet or his morning jello. Give him a minute and Soros will tell him what to say.

There are systems in place to remove this threat to our Republic... Sadly, no one has the guts to implement them... Starting with Pence, McConnell, any D-RAT, Romney and Americans in general that have allowed this to happen. We have an unused 2nd amendment that was put in place specifically for the government we now have... The only ones that are even coming close are the truckers, who are very careful to not break any of the rules, mandates and laws that they are uselessly driving around in circles protesting. Truly pathetic.

Let's accept that the war is going badly for Russia. That Putin is on the political ropes with his oligarchs and possibly his military. That Ukraine is now on the offensive. That tens of thousands of Russian troops are dead. That imminent military defeat is staring Putin and Russia in the face. That troops are on the verge of a mutiny. So, now what?
NATO still has cow feces on its shoes for appearing both feckless and powerless. The Euro members demonstrated that NATO is an inert alliance. Russia appears to have shown that its soldiers are a smidgen less than ten feet tall, and that they and their equipment is not very effective in the field against an armed adversary.
So, will the now-winning Ukrainians use thier apparent superiority and momentum to expel the Russians from all of their country. including those rebellious regions? Will NATO/US stop with the nuke talk? Will Putin be put down?
Stay tuned...

Just as Democrats want to keep the 'extraordinary' situation caused by COVID alive till the next election, Joe Dementia seems hell bent to keep the Ukraine pot boiling to keep the attention away from the series of train wrecks that has been his (stolen) Presidency. No matter how dangerous. let us hope Russia has the good sense to understand this.

Hopefully some technician has quietly disconnected Biden's nuclear buttons. The guy is mentally incompetent and should not be there.

You think COVID mandates were bad? I repeat my assertion that a nuclear war would give leftists unlimited opportunities for restrictions.

Biden is an insufferable idiot who should be home in Delaware eating Jello. Like the cowardly bully that he is, he continues to threaten, sanction and use big weapons against an adversary that is guilty of greed and murder on the other side of the world and has nothing to do with us. Putin is still fighting WW2 with WW2 era weapons. Joe needs to keep his Pinnochio nose out of it. A First-strike will be the Last-strike and the sane people in the world know it. We might be left with a few humans still alive in Tibet or the Andes mountains but civilization as we know it will die out everywhere. #2 mentions America's solution. How far do we have to be pushed before we use it?

Dementia Joe and nuclear weapons in the same sentence is scary indeed. If his mind wanders back to the days when he defeated Cornpop. we could end up in a world of hurt.

Biden is a very dangerous man, who as US President routinely misspeaks during official matters and by doing that could easily stumble the USA into a major war, where huge numbers of Americans could be killed and seriously wounded with much infrastructure destroyed.
