When asked if he would consider Mike Pence as his running mate in 2024, Trump responded by saying, “I don’t think people would accept [him].”The former president also highlighted the “feverish” attempts by members of Congress to change the 1887 Electoral Count Act (ECA) that dictates how Congress counts the Electoral College votes
“Mike thought he was going to be a human conveyor belt, that no matter how fraudulent the votes, you have to send them up to the Old Crow,” President Trump told the Washington Examiner in an interview Tuesday.

Mike did not do his job when it mattered. Pence belongs in a job where it don't matter.

Just once, I wish he'd say something along the lines of "I'm disappointed in my lapse of judgment in selecting him twice to be my VP/running mate. I'll be sure to do better going forward."

We are all disappointed with Pence. And more than disappointed, we are dismayed and unpleasantly surprised at how he did not stand up for Donald Trump, under mild to moderate pressure. His negative comments were gratuitous, inappropriate and unnecessary. He wilted. More and more he reminds me of Mittens Romney. Thankfully, he has tipped his hand and we now know that Pence would be a very weak President of the United States. He would "go along to get along," and such attitude by Republicans is always considered by Democrats to be weakness.

President Trump never brought the subject up, #1. He gave a very statesmanlike answer considering what Pence did not only to him but to the nation.

DJT was wrong on Pence's authority as VP to somehow overturn the presidential election. Had Pence done so, the U.S. Supreme Court, in a bench decision, same day as the hearing, would have reversed Pence. And the vote would have been 9-0.
It also would have set a terrible precedent. Every future election, with the VP on the losing side, no matter the closeness of the vote, the VP would have messed with the results.
In 1960, Richard Nixon knew that the Kennedy people in Illinois had stolen the Presidency from him, but Nixon chose not to fight it,"'because the Country needed a President," Nixon said.

President Trump! Enough with the last election! The Neocons are dragging us into a shooting war with Russia! Inflation is 15% and the dollar is about to lose its Reserve Currency status! Deal with today/tomorrow issues and let the last election go! Please sir! You are killing us! If you can’t stop, I am voting for Desantis!

#8, I love ya, but President Trump never asked Pence to overturn the election. He asked that the electors be returned to the states because of the massive irregularities. He knew Pence could not overturn anything. He just wanted the electors to be returned so that the states could investigate the anomalies that were present. If you remember as soon as it was evident that something very wrong had gone on the night of November 3rd, the drumbeat started, Trump is a sore loser and is pushing a conspiracy theory. Had the media shown any interest in the obvious examples of voter fraud, we could have had a different outcome. However, the leftist media, democrats and many Republicans were in the tank for the steal.
If we as Americans are frustrated with the consequences of a stolen election, how do you think the President feels? His entire very successful Presidency has been trashed by a corrupt old man who did not win and he now has to stand by and watch as his country is swirling down the drain. The corruption pouring out of every agency of this putrid government has created a stench that is toxic to freedom. How can you just let it go and say never mind? The democrats have committed the most heinous act of criminality in the history of this country. They have stolen our right as Americans to choose our leader. We did not want Joe. We do not want Joe. We never wanted Joe. There is no way he won anything. He did not garner more votes and if anyone believes he did, they are delusional. The left wanted power so they stole what they could not win and will fight to the death to keep the confirmation of their treason away from the American people. President Trump can walk and chew gum at the same time and he should. He, like many Americans he wants this wrong righted. We want to show the American people and the world what these lawless criminals have done to our beloved country and ultimately the world. Democrats need to own what they have done. President Trump would give democrats an undeserved gift if he just shut up about what they have done. However, we deserve to know the truth and it has a way of revealing itself. The fact that the left and their enablers scream anytime the election is mentioned is a clear indication that they are worried. Now that Biden has been shown to be an utter failure in every aspect of his Presidency, people will be more open to listening to the truth. Personally, just to have the steal finally confirmed would be sweet satisfaction for me and vindication for all the misery the country has endured the past almost 15 months. I doubt it will happen, but it should.

Deep-State Mike is, was, and always will be a Swamp Rat. It simply took the "Crisis of 2020" to prove it true.

#10, I spoke to one issue - the action or non action of Pence on January 6, 2021. And how the U.S. Supreme Court would have shut him down with his order to send the electors home.

Sorry, but Trump is wrong on this. If the VP had that kind of authority over the electoral vote count, then we would have had ''President Al Gore'' back in the 2000 election.

I'm disappointed in him too Mister President. Pence has shown himself to a craven backstabbing RINO coward. He will NEVER get my vote for ANYTHING. Period. I'm also disappointed in the people who say that he should get over the last election. My question to people who say that is why should he? The democrats got away with election theft and would like nothing more for it to be forgotten. Someone has to make sure they never forget and if it's the man who should be in the WH at this time then so be it.

The big mistake was in allowing mail-in ballots. The secondary mistake was in choosing a nice guy to be vice president instead of a Pit Bull. It is imperative that the election process be fixed otherwise we will put up with idiots like Biden and Pelosi forever or until America implodes, whichever comes first, something I'm not prepared to do. We really don't want to get the pitchforks out but the barn door remains unlocked just in case.

This "legal precedent" stuff is getting old. Pence should have stood up for the legitimate president and the integrity of the election based on principle no matter what the supreme court might have done. Why are we concerned about the purity of the law when treason and an obvious coup were used to steal the presidency of the greatest country on Earth? They used government agencies to spy on Americans and created false evidence to install a puppet government. Screw the law.
