A cryptocurrency expert is sounding the alarm on how the Canadian government is freezing the crypto wallets of Freedom Convoy protesters and said that it's something that can "very realistically" happen in the United States. (Snip) "And as sad as it is to say, no one is safe from that, whether it's traditional bank accounts or cryptocurrencies held with a third-party intermediary, it really doesn't matter. That is, if it's a third party that is acting as the go between. And there's still that risk of seizure," he said.

This is why I advocate a debt-free position, whenever possible. There is no limit to what the wicked Fed would attempt. All for our good and safety, of course

Reality is the Canadian Elites are watching the democrats. They've seen the democrats kill two unarmed female protesters, The National Police, DC, are pretty much able to get away with anything, teargassing a non violent protest, assaulting said protestors, standing aside and allowing someone to open up the capital and instigating the entry of the capital which was peacefully walked thru, with a few exceptions, for the most part. Arresting protestors months afterward for basically trespassing and then holding them under inhuman conditions while letting violent protestors be released with no bail or fines. If the democrats are watching the Canadians it's with wonder that the Canadians are openly pushing more extreme actions than even the dems got away with.

OP is right. We should call our local congressperson and ask them what offshore bank they use and recommend. BTW...where are the demands to see the transcript of last week's phone call between Biden and Trudeau? Would be interesting to see if Biden's handlers recommended to Trudeau this course of action.

The CCP, Democrat Party, Rino, big business, big tech coalition has nationalized the U.S. economy. It is a communist police state. You control nothing, and they can do anything they wish to you. They control the court system, so they will never be held accountable for anything they do.

None of this is good news. Somehow we the people must elect honest representatives who will act in our interests not against them. Majority leaders of both house and senate being the key positions needing replacement. It would also be comforting to see these national crooks receive some cold hard justice while we still have a little we can call our own. I do not relish the return to serfdom.

you mean like, for instance: when the people begin to make a run on the banks because of the rapid and unchecked rise in inflation, due to the incompetence of the diaper party?, like what happened in Germany in 1923 and led to the rise of Adolph Hitler and the National Socialist Party aka: Nazi Party?

What is needed is banking regulations that fine banks that allow the seizure of accounts without due process. It is theft. Taking something that does not belong to you and without permission of the owner is theft. Banking executives and politicians that do or allow this should be prosecuted.

Most people do not understand the real threat of this. Many people get direct deposit, many pay their bills by having a withdrawal coming directly from the bank. If you have direct deposit and they lock your account, you won't have enough money to buy a loaf of bread. My advice get the bulk of your money out of the back and buy a good safe at home. They aren't paying any interest anyway so you aren't losing much.

I'm pessimistically thinking the upcoming midterms are the last chance to save western civilization, therefor the demorats and their running dogs will pull out all the stops to have it "postponed." Then the hunt will truly begin to weed out all the patriots in Congress so that the 'rats have the "majority." I've always sucked at picking horses and wives so hopefully I'm wrong here.

Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg's new National Roadway Safety Strategy (NRSS) promotes speed cameras nationwide to make our roads safer. But research shows that speed cameras are subject to error and actually end up serving as a means to generate government revenue.(Snip) However, the cameras can commit errors when it comes to actually ticketing the right offenders. This can be a problem for drivers—but a windfall for enforcers. In Chicago, where speed cameras are abundant, the camera program improperly gave out over $2.4 million in fines from 2013 to 2015. Using a random sample analysis, the Chicago Tribune estimated the number of bad tickets to be somewhere around 110,000.
