Judging by the number of House Democrats who are abandoning ship ahead of the 2022 midterm elections alone (the number currently stands at 26, with more sure to follow), some Democrats obviously are well aware of the writing on the wall when it comes to their chances of retaining the House later this year.
Issues like the economy, inflation, the unemployment situation, and the ongoing coronavirus pandemic loom large for Joe, who one year since his inauguration has seen his approval rating plummet from a high of 63% in one post-inauguration poll to 33% in one from just last week.

Joey is merely identified as a drag on the demonrat party. I object. He should be labeled as the death knell for the party.

Pelosi, rumor has it that the governor of Florida is preparing for several Democrat style "investigations" when you move there. Hope you know a few dozen good lawyers.

Biden's remaining core constituencies are the news media and older women with multiple college degrees and sparse private lives, groups that overlap a lot.

Making Old Joe the scapegoat for the Dem's failing numbers is easy but it suggests that the remedy is just someone different in the top spot. This is very similar to the complaint we hear every time Dems lose that they just didn't get their message out. It's the Dem's policies that are the problem. Joe is just the sad, senile, angry, demented face of a party bent on destroying everything that has made this country great. People are finally waking up to that reality.

The smart ones are cashing in their chips and going into hiding while they can.
The worst of them are staying to try to cover their tracks.
The delusional ones think nothing has changed, and they can continue to rake in the cash.

There is a terrific line in the musical 'Hamilton'--"You don't have the votes." That is the bedrock truth in a representative Republic. The dems don't have the votes; I suspect they haven't had the votes in years. They tried wide-spread cheating, but that has backfired. States with Republican state senators have tightened their voting laws precisely because of the wide-spread cheating. The voters now know dems as liars and cheats.
All they have left is demonizing conservatives and Orange Man Bad.

Joe may be the most visible drag on the demonrats but it is truly their own policies which are killing them - TaliBiden is just the face pushing those policies.

Joe is like the racecar with a blown motor spewing oil all over the track. He is slowing everything down and is a danger to everybody around him. Get the tow truck!

Since Maxi said the two senators who won't vote to help Democrats cheat in elections are hurting Blacks, then why won't she say all of those in Congress who are leaving are racist and hurting Blacks?

#6, "you don't have the votes" is no longer a problem for them. Now, "you don't have the voting machines" would make them panic.

I believe the democrats not only over-played their hand on the 2020 election message, but they created the questions about the actual voter integrity by resisting and challenging all inquiries.
So, now a basic issue of voting has put the democrats into a corner trying to justify many things that happened during 2020.
And, with hundreds of thousands of people who have died, just from COVID-related deaths, have all of those people be removed from their respective voter registration rolls?
With people moving out of places like NY, IL, CA, have those people been removed from the voter rolls?
Democrats continue to resist such basic questions, and actions, by suing to reject any removals.
It's as if they know they can't win fair and honest elections, so they created unsecure ballot drop boxes which don't have strict chain of custody and they created unsecure ballot harvesting schemes.
