At some point in the relatively near future, President Joe Biden will be handed a speech that will read something like this:
“My Fellow Americans -- Our long national nightmare is over. The pandemic is a thing of the past and I am ordering the end of all federal COVID-related efforts and I implore those governors who have not lifted their emergency orders to do so immediately. It’s time for all of us to get back to normal.”
Given Biden’s speech and cognition issues, he will most likely actually say ‘My Felericans -- our long natural fair is covered,” but that is beside the point

Here's what our COVID-1984 authoritarians want: they seek to use pandemics, wars, uncontrolled immigration, doomsday climate predictions, and "woke" cultural Marxism to keep people in a constant state of fear, divided among themselves, and willing to hand over their freedoms for evaporative promises of protection. "Protection" in this racket means survival but not life, equity but not fairness, financial handouts but not prosperity, and politically correct narratives but no truth.
This last point deserves emphasis.

Vaccine mandates are one of many stifling measures brought on by the ongoing COVID pandemic, a consequence of those trying to “follow the science” and doing anything but or of government and bureaucrat officials using the opportunity to flex their authoritarian muscles.(snip)In a recent Yahoo Finance interview, [Pfizer CEO Albert] Bourla let the cat out of the vaccine bag,
"And we know that the two doses of the vaccine offer very limited protection, if any. The three doses, with the booster, they offer reasonable protection against hospitalization and deaths—and, again, that’s, I think, very good—and less protection against the infection."

There is no way to recover national political standing once a politician becomes a popular butt of humor, a punchline in a degrading joke. Ask Dan Quayle, who has disappeared from the scene so completely that nobody has even gotten him on the record about the vice presidency of Kamala Harris. My guess is that he is enjoying bitter laughter.
Last Thursday’s interview with Craig Melvin of Democrat-friendly NBC sealed her fate. The Zen koan-like statement, "It is time for us to do what we have been doing. And that time is every day," closes the case, a brilliantly meaningless platitude that seems to demand meditation,

On Saturday afternoon, a man claiming to be the brother of the Pakistani terrorist Aafia Siddiqui (aka “Lady al Qaeda”) stormed a synagogue in Colleyville, Texas, in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, and took four people hostage. (snip) the Biden administration once again showed itself to be completely tone-deaf (snip) Psaki makes no mention of the synagogue at the heart of the crisis. She doesn’t mention Islam, terrorism, al Qaeda, or anti-Semitism. To her, it’s just a “developing hostage situation in the Dallas area.” Nor is there any hint of compassion or concern for the people trapped with an armed madman purportedly carrying a backpack filled with explosives.

Is Ray Epps the key to uncovering a deep state conspiracy that many of us have suspected for years? With what we have witnessed with Midyear Exam, Crossfire Hurricane, the Whitmer Kidnapping, the 2020 election, and now the January 6 “insurrection,” it has become obvious that our government is not that of a healthy functioning democratic republic. But the depths of the corruption, and how far bad actors are willing to go in corrupting our society, has largely remained hidden. But there are encouraging signs.

Almost a year ago, Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell agreed with majority leader Chuck Schumer to an equal power-sharing agreement for the upcoming session, reflecting the 50-50 split between the parties (with Kamala Harris as the tie-breaking vote). In exchange, McConnell agreed to allow the question of the filibuster’s continued existence to be brought up to a vote. He did so because Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema promised not to end the filibuster. That was an incredible gamble but, on Thursday, Manchin and Sinema came through on a filibuster vote. A furious Biden started hollering about the horrors of life without federalizing American elections

There is a tectonic shift underway in the medico-scientific establishment: they are starting to walk back boosters.
The first indication of this dramatic change of attitude came from the United Kingdom last week.
On January 7, Reuters ran a wire titled UK Says 4th COVID Jabs Not Needed for Now As Booster Effect Lasts. That piece featured the following sentence in its opening paragraph: “there is no need for now for people to have a fourth shot, British health officials said on Friday.” (snip) A mere day later, Bloomberg put out an article titled Repeat Booster Shots Spur European Warning on Immune-System Risks.

On Monday, Project Veritas released documents showing that an organization called EcoHealth Alliance approached the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (aka DARPA) seeking funding for its research into SARS viruses in rats, only to be turned down because of DARPA’s gain of function concerns. EcoHealth then turned to Fauci’s NIAID, which seemingly did research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology that led to COVID’s spread throughout the world. When quizzed about these documents before the Senate, Fauci denied the charges but, if you listen carefully, he denied a strawman of his own making.
Monday’s bombshell was that DARPA refused to accept EcoHealth’s proposal for bat virus research in China.

Something peculiar has become clear over the last two years: Leftists seem to enjoy the COVID panic. (snip) Walensky has acknowledged that, when it comes to vaccinated people who still died from COVID, almost 80% of them had one foot in the grave and one foot on a banana peel:
“The overwhelming number of deaths, over 75%, occurred in people who had at least four comorbidities. So, really, these are people who were unwell to begin with["] (snip) Atlas then said something truly surprising that will further devastate those on the left: “We know now that two-thirds of deaths for Americans with COVID are people with six or more comorbidities.”

We coined the term “sovereign fraud” right here on American Thinker. At the time it was a concept, until we started doing voter anomaly analysis for one large, Midwestern swing state.
We have now finished state 15, on the way to 30 or more; we can say with certainty that the Secretaries of State are unlikely to lead voter roll clean up. In many states they thwart it with flagrant data tricks. Let’s take you through our excellent adventure working with voter integrity groups across the country.

For most infections, early treatment is imperative to prevent late complications. Gangrene infection in the toe must be treated aggressively to prevent losing not only the toe, but also a foot or leg if the infection is inadequately treated and spreads. (snip) COVID has been with us for almost two years and yet there are still not officially and medical establishment endorsed outpatient treatment protocols to keep infected individuals out of hospitals, which is where more serious problems begin, from secondary hospital infections, ventilators, and ultimately death.
