Newsmax TV host Grant Stinchfield blew up at a guest during his show on Wednesday over criticism that “multiple administrations” including that of President Donald Trump failed to pull out of Afghanistan.Stinchfield was interviewing Joe Saboe, a former U.S. Army officer and Iraq War veteran who has been working via the private sector to evacuate Americans and Afghan allies, when the two had a disagreement about the previous administration’s role in the southwest Asian country. As the segment was about to end, the two exchanged views over whether the people left behind by the Biden administration amid a chaotic, deadly pullout were now in a “hostage situation,”

In lieu of the fact that Trump ordered the pullout of Afghanistan and had a plan to do so, but was stone walled by the brass at the pentagon, any inference that Trump didn't pull out of Afghanistan is pure BS. There was a plan in place but it was ignored by the generals. The U.S. pullout would have complete if the generals had followed Trump's orders, but they didn't.

Part of the reason it didn't happen under Trump was that Pentagon level Brass were paying lip service to Trump, and doing what they damn well pleased. They may have been doing that to other past presidents. We don't need 'the Experts', who are sworn servants to us, running things contrary to our will. If they are going to do that, they are better off dead and buried.

POTUS Trump is nothing if not an excellent manager. Managers take contingencies into account in their planning, that is why POTUS Trump's withdrawal plan was not based on a strict timeline, but upon a situation in which conditions were being met to allow succeeding steps of his withdrawal plan to be safely implemented. Biden said he was planning to leave by August 31 come hell or high water. Hell is what came and is now being experienced by those who were INTENTIONALLY left behind.

Odd is thinking that it is a winning strategy to parrot the behavior of someone who would shout down and silence you just because you disagree with him.

It is a questionable argument to imply that the president's generals directly refused his lawful direct orders. If that was true, the president is not without blame as he was the sole Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces and had the authority and responsibility to terminate and prosecute any general officer who refused to follow his orders. The TV host invited Saboe on his show to give his perspective. That's like shouting down someone who disagrees that ISIS was thoroughly decimated during the Trump administration. They were run out of Syria and Northern Iraq but like a virulent cancer, they metastasized elsewhere and are vying for power in Afghanistan today.

On May 13, 1912, Congress passed the 17th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which was ratified on April 8, 1913. The 17th Amendment instituted the direct election by voters of U.S. senators who until then were chosen by state legislatures pursuant to Article I, Section 3 of the Constitution. The Amendment was part of the early 20th century’s progressive movement reforms. It is time to repeal that amendment. The remarkable group of men who devised our Constitution and the Bill of Rights sought to enhance the powers of the federal government (which were ineffectual under the Articles of Confederation), but share that power among the legislative, executive, and judicial branches

No one is healing. Nothing is healed. The wound Donald Trump ripped open has done nothing but fester since Scranton Joe was inaugurated. Much of the analysis surrounding Joe Biden’s downfall has centered on national approval ratings. RedState has covered that issue extensively, noting that the president appears to have no support floor. That makes him much more like George W. Bush and less like Donald Trump. But underneath the national discussion lies the environment that truly matters as we head into 2022, and it’s not looking good for Biden and his cohorts. Biden faces dismal job approval ratings in several battleground states, including Michigan, Virginia, and Iowa, where the president garnered the lowest score since George W. Bush in 2008 in a survey this week.

Scientists have created the ultimate GM crop: contraceptive corn. Waiving fields of maize may one day save the world from overpopulation. The pregnancy prevention plants are the handiwork of the San Diego biotechnology company Epicyte, where researchers have discovered a rare class of human antibodies that attack sperm. By isolating the genes that regulate the manufacture of these antibodies, and by putting them in corn plants, the company has created tiny horticultural factories that make contraceptives. 'We have a hothouse filled with corn plants that make anti-sperm antibodies,' said Epicyte president Mitch Hein.
