The White House admitted Wednesday they did not know if President Joe Biden had ever visited the Southern border to demonstrate his commitment to border security.“I will have to look back in my history books and check the times he’s been to the Southern border,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in response to a question from Fox News reporter Peter Doocy during the daily White House briefing. It remains unclear whether Biden has ever been to the Southern border, as he spent most of his political career as a U.S. senator representing Delaware.

On CBS’s Late Show Tuesday night, left-wing “comedian” Stephen Colbert eagerly welcomed on The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward on Robert Costa to hawk their new anti-Trump book designed to distract from the massive failures of current President Joe Biden. Accepting all of the wild claims in the book as gospel, Colbert declared that he had to take breaks from reading it in order to “quietly weep” for the country. “I am not fully finished with this book,” Colbert admitted to his guests, before explaining: “And it’s not because it’s not a good read....it is really compelling.

On May 13, 1912, Congress passed the 17th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which was ratified on April 8, 1913. The 17th Amendment instituted the direct election by voters of U.S. senators who until then were chosen by state legislatures pursuant to Article I, Section 3 of the Constitution. The Amendment was part of the early 20th century’s progressive movement reforms. It is time to repeal that amendment. The remarkable group of men who devised our Constitution and the Bill of Rights sought to enhance the powers of the federal government (which were ineffectual under the Articles of Confederation), but share that power among the legislative, executive, and judicial branches

Why has the federal government been trying so hard to keep surveillance footage of January 6th under wraps? We may have an answer to that question if a set of newly released videos are any indication.A judge ordered the videos be released against the wishes of the government prosecutors who claimed doing so would undermine national security. Of course, that makes no sense, and what’s on the videos runs counter to the chosen narrative.Behold, the event that has been compared to the Civil War by the President of the United States. (Tweet/Video) If you can’t watch the video, what you’ll see are open doors/windows and people casually walking in.

'They've got to be gotten rid of. They've gotten to be stopped. It cannot go on.'Waters, an 83-year-old Democratic representative for California's 43rd district, demanded that journalists: 'Write the story.

The US defaulting on its debt payments would be a 'catastrophic blow' to Covid-19 economic recovery and result in the loss of six million jobs, according Moody's latest analytics.
The dire warning comes as the US Treasury Department has said it will run out of cash by October unless Congress raises its debt ceiling. Currently, the Republicans are refusing to increase the debt limit over concerns about Biden's vast spending plans.
