LANDER, Wyo.–Over eggs and coffee, a spirited discussion on the future of the country’s politics takes place in this picturesque hamlet nestled at the base of the Wind River Mountains in Wyoming. They banter back and forth.A klatch of long-time chums – all Republican men – gather around a long table at the Inn at Lander. Amid the clinking of silverware and cups, they weigh in on the feud between former President Donald Trump and their lone GOP congresswoman, Liz Cheney, the daughter of a former vice president who carries the mantle of the state’s famous political family. They banter back and forth.

Not a hard question for most. You either choose the China-sucking globalist pigs, or America First.

It doesn't matter how many good labels they put on the Cheney witch, anybody who votes to impeach a president on an obviously fabricated set of charges is not fit to govern anything. It shows irresponsible hatred, bias and poor judgement. I don't care how many horses she rides.

I think the article is crap. Choosing sides? They should only be bantering back and forth on why they can't get rid of her.

My stomach turned, but I made it to here:
…” Nearly a year after he was voted out of office, the former president still casts a long shadow…”

It's only a "hard question" for the regular readers of USA Today, if there are any.

Memo to all Never-Trumpers and Trump haters: It’s Trump's party now! Get used to it. This article was written to show that somebody was being thoughtful. Does anyone think Liz Cheney has a chance? It has been pointed out here that it was the Republican Party in Wyoming that censured her.

Actually, it's Cheney against the Wyoming GOP. Win or lose, I predict she will run for President in 2024.

There is no hard question there. Only an idiot or a deep state insider would vote for Cheney. Trump is trying to undo the progressive drive to socialism and submission to a world government and the thing the deep state is trying to do is remove all the protections of the constitution that makes the USA the best nation in the history of the world. How is choosing freedom a hard question?

Does USA Today actually have any, you know, readers? If they didn't have the puzzle page and dump free copies in hotels for travelers would anyone even know they exist?

It's only a hard question if your brain is full of mush. A inside the beltway swamp creature whose out for herself, or a person who has shown he wants to make the lives of the average American better. See, it's not that difficult.

Any Wyoming voter--Republican or Democrat--that prefers Biden-supporting Liz Cheney over President Trump is a traitor and a fool.

It is telling that her fundraisers are not in Wyoming, and that the sponsors are all "former" Republican officials.

Her last name is well known in Wyoming, but Cheney is not Wyoming. She is 100% DC Beltway and no representative of Wyoming.
She's headed for a cushy CNN or MSNBC salary, I'd say.
