Was This Where Biden's Detachment from
Afghanistan Was Exposed?

Biden botched out withdrawal from Afghanistan. He caved to terrorists. We’re following their timeline. There was chaos at the airport in Kabul. Our allies feel betrayed, thousands of Americans are still stranded in the country. And now, we have US troops dead on the ground from today’s bombings around the airport. At least four US Marines are dead. A total of 11 service members have been killed. Given the chaos around the airport, this was coming. ISIS is on the prowl as is al-Qaeda and contrary to what Biden has been saying—it’s not easy to get to the airport if you’re an American marooned.

I can’t square what’s going on. IMHO, this is not incompetence. What it is, I’m not sure. But incompetence doesn’t seem correct. As bad as this is, where are the generals who are resigning in protest? Where are ANY advisors, staff who are resigning? What is the end game?

Biden is giving a big time CYA speech, and even managed to include his deceased son in his speech as he usually does, who was a military lawyer, who unfortunately died of brain cancer years after he returned from a deployment in Iraq. Bottom line Biden surrendered to the Taliban and chances are we are going to see more attacks on US forces even before Biden’s final “bug out” date of August 31. Most Americans believe that the USA should be out of Afghanistan, but few Americans are OK with the manner that Biden and his crew decided to get out of Afghanistan, abandoning Bagram Airbase for which Biden is now blaming military commanders, and of course Trump, and by cooperating with the Taliban who killed and wounded thousands of US and NATO troops over the years.

President Joe Biden wanted the now-departed Afghan president to create the 'perception' that his government was capable of holding off the Taliban - an indication he knew it was only a matter of time before the US ally fell to the Islamic group even while reassuring Americans at home that it would not happen. In the last phone call between Biden and his Afghan then-counterpart Ashraf Ghani, the American president said they needed to change perceptions of the Taliban's rapid advance 'whether it is true or not,' according to excerpts published on Tuesday.

Gen. Mark A. Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs, must go. President Biden claims that the military advised him to close Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan and instead use Kabul’s airport to evacuate Americans. They were the ones who said the Afghan army would hold, that the pullout would go smoothly. If Biden is telling the truth, this disaster is on Milley’s watch. Or Biden is lying (the more likely scenario, based on what sources inside the administration are saying) and Milley failed to do his duty and push back against a commander in chief who is making deadly decisions. I ask this question for two reasons: I have seen enough videos and read about enough officer-civilian interactions to know that the act of subduing a lethal threat requires several rounds. If an intruder entered my home and threatened my wife and child, I would shoot until I was able to ensure the target was immobilized. As to the first statement, there are plenty of examples of police officers firing multiple shots at a suspected threat. In the past year, the American public has been thoroughly able to parse through the shootings of criminals like Breonna Taylor and Antonio Brown, to name just two examples.
