A reputed teenage gang member with three gun busts in four months had his bail reduced by a Bronx judge—allowing him to get out of jail and allegedly fire a random shot that killed an innocent father of two, The Post has learned. Alberto Ramirez, 16, was arrested Monday in the slaying of Eric Velasquez, 34, who was struck by a stray bullet that the teen allegedly shot blindly into a crowd while on a rival gang’s turf, law-enforcement sources said. He has pleaded not guilty. Ramirez was locked up on $75,000 bail when acting Supreme Court Justice Denis Boyle lowered the amount to $10,000

This overweight Irish judge reminds me of some of the overweight bishops in my church who make decisions for the laity that are poorly thought-out, seem self-serving, and have only have dire consequences.

Judges should be held accountable when they let serial predators back out into society.

FYI - the Supreme Court in NY State is actually the same as a county court in any other state = a court of original jurisdiction.
The NYS Court of Appeals is the highest court.

And IDIOTIC leftwing lunatics say that the gun is the problem.
I remember when the NRA had a convention in Charlotte NC. ACRES of guns for 3 days. NOT ONE person shot and NOT ONE gun went off by accident either.

I was curious to view a picture of the "Honorable" Supreme Court Justice Denis Boyle.
Tried a number of sites with no success. Guy seems to be photo-anonymous. Wonder why?

Just remember this: when leftists talk about restrictive gun laws, they are only talking about disarming white people.....the "people of color" are allowed to be armed and fire at will

The article includes two photos of the so-called judge. Also, something to remember in the context of how all cultures are equal, but ours is deplorable; they intentionally shoot into random crowds. FTA: "Ramirez, a reputed member of the 'Young Gunnaz' or 'YG' gang, allegedly opened fire indiscriminately, hitting Velasquez, after venturing into territory controlled by the rival 'Slattery Avenue Boys' gang, sources said. The deadly practice is referred to by gang members as 'spinning the block,' sources said.

It's not just one judge, New York City is now the equivalent of a large national zoo where the animals are not in cages, just running around loose. Ultimately, Cuomo and deBlasio are responsible for thousands of murders, injuries and beatings since January of 2020. The NYPD are using this excuse to stand around and do nothing but what else can they do, any attempt to enforce the law gets the cop slapped in jail. The citizens have a choice, put up with the extreme violence or move. The wise ones have already moved.

I think the Judges that make these horrible decisions should be held liable for the crime committed by the criminal they let go, PERIOD. If not that, I see a day when someone in the victims family takes it on themselves to 'correct the wrong'. I won't say how but you can imagine what an extremely mad brother could do in this situation. They could then plead temporary insanity and any sane jury would let them off.

IF anyone wanted to see a clear picture of the imprudent judge, all they had to do was click on the link for the original article posted. I guess not all the questions one has are NOT contained in the small paragraph.

Supreme Court Justice Denis Boyle is a rabid piece of puke on the loose that needs to be held accountable for his numerous inhumane actions.

Well it is easy to see why this judge would be invited to all the dinner parties and other social affairs given by local defense attorneys!

A sane society would charge this judge as an accessory to the criminal's subsequent actions. The article lists several other instances in which the judge set dangerous people free, only to see them create more victims.
