Former Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-VA) Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” called former President Donald Trump a “political kidney stone” that the Republican Party should move past “sooner rather than later.”
Anchor Nicolle Wallace said, “Barbara, why are there only two? Why it just Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger who see this the way you see it?”
Comstock said, “Like I said, 35 of the House members wanted an investigation. Seven senators supported it, So I do want to give more credit to all those folks. Here’s the thing, the information is going to come out. As I pointed out when I worked on the Clinton investigations, we got a lot of stonewalling.

Note that Babs (or, if you prefer, Blabs) is a FORMER Congresscritter. She is now working in an even lower profession: lobbyist.

Notice how many of these go along get along 'Republicans' were never able to get any of the conservative agenda passed in Congress. If they were so right and successful at their jobs, why are they no longer there?

The only this to be passed will be the "Comstock lode".

The media & so called DC politicians are the only ones who don't see the difference Trump made in DC in 4 years to Biden's 6 months ...this time last year gas was $1.25 a gallon now......

Still wondering why you couldn’t hold onto your seat, Babs? I voted for you the first time you ran but then you betrayed your voters. Enjoy your anonymity.

They still don't get it do they. They still think this is about Trump when in fact it is about the complete lack of reasonable representation of constitutional values over decades. We flocked to Trump as a glimmer of hope for offering an alternative to socialism and a choice that only differed in the rate of our fundamental transformation into Venezuela.

Barbara Comstock (R - Reject)
Gotta love how MSNBC trots out fired Republicans to tell us the future of the Republican party. Know why the left profiles Republicans like Comstock? They ensure Democratic victories.

Remarkable how many GOP establishment types refuse to understand that they are the "kidney stones" the conservative members of the GOP, the majority, have been trying to pass since at least the TEA Party.

It seems the voters of Virginia passed this kidney stone RINO, Comstock, out of congress for a reason.
Another mouthy RINO like Liz Cheney with an ax to grind. Comstock finds a little clever nugget then takes it to the worse outlet on television Deadline. Cleverly saying 'passing a kidney stone' referring to President Trump as a kidney stone is a joke that fell flat but the democrats got a good laugh out of it.

Even the GOP is too stupid to realize that Donald Trump is their lifeblood and not some undesireable anomaly. If they don't start singing his praises before the 2022 election and talking about running him in 2024, the truth will hit them with the force of a high-speed train.

Republicans can always get time on CNN, MSNBC, and the other alpahbets. All they gotta do is bash Trump and the other Republicans.

So what she is saying the .Republicans don’t want to win elections going forward, preferring to enrich themselves as the minority party and be able to complain and whine and say “if only....”.
People at this point would be voting for Trump just to cause visionaries like this genius ex-Congresscreep angst and aggravation.

In the last 20 years, the RINO's have quietly taken over the Republican Party, turning it into the "Republi-Can't Party" (or the "Demon-Rat Lite Party" if you prefer).
Donald Trump threw them for a huge loop, so they hate him, But 75,000,000 or so of us normal conservative Americans loved him and voted for him.
It's why I am no longer a Republican after being one for 60+ years. I am an independent conservative. Sure, I will still support good conservative candidates that run as Republicans, but my money and time will be spent directly supporting them. Not another penny to the RNC ever again!!!! The RNC is just a brood of RINO swamp creatures, and that is the last thing we need!!!!!

I am as loyal to Trump as always, and I believe he will remain loyal to helping the people that got him elected until the day he dies. He used to say at his rallies when he was running the first time "Don't worry about the things I might say, watch what I do." So for the next few years he is going to trigger and toy with the Dems/deep state/RINO's/etc. to help influence and shape our future. When the next election rolls around I believe DeSantis will be our candidate, with Trump and his family's full support.

This slimeball said "the scales will fall from the eyes, the way they did with Joe McCarthy" We should have listened to Joe McCarthy. Maybe we wouldn't be trying to keep from becoming a communist country right now. Babs is totally out to lunch. The way of the party is not to go back to the Bush days, but back to the ways of the best president this country has seen in over 100 yrs if not ever.
