In case you missed it, last week, a sinister silhouette caused concern beneath the Connecticut sky. Construction was underway in the town of New Britain, at Central Connecticut State University. Someone at the work site had a patriotic bent. Hence, in honor of Memorial Day, they crane-hoisted an American flag. Loops are often useful in erection, so at the end of the banner-bearing cable dangled the oval shape of curved, steel wire. [Tweet] A witness observed the geometry and was jolted. They notified the Powers That Be. That elicited a campus-wide email from school President Zulma Toro, which was obtained by Campus Reform.

Maybe if those whinging, crybaby, snowflakes, who see, hear, talk, so much hate had their brains de-brainwashed of all the hate they have they could turn into good decent God loving humans instead of fear-mongers.

Worried about alleged nooses? Why not be worried about real guns used by black folks to kill other black folks? It's as if some -- not all, by any means -- black folks are actually doing the job of the KKK and its ilk, that is, getting rid of black folks. This violence and crime -- that goes unchallenged and sometimes encouraged by Democrats -- is awful. All people are made in the image and likeness of God.

A choker cable is pretty much essential to moving things with a crane. But then I wouldn't expect liberal morons to have any practical knowledge about... well really anything.

Porn star Stormy Daniels said she's game to take on former President Donald Trump in yet another legal battle. Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, said she has not been called to testify but volunteered to testify before a Manhattan grand jury as part of a criminal investigation into his business dealings. “I’ve been very forthcoming since the beginning of all this that I would love nothing more than my day in court and to give a deposition and to provide whatever evidence that they need from me," Daniels said Monday on CNN. Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton weighed in on Republican state legislatures pursuing basic election integrity measures in their respective states, contending that it “shouldn’t be a partisan issue” to reject such efforts. In a Monday social media post, Clinton likened the left’s radical attempt to overhaul U.S. election — stripping states of basic election safeguards such as voter ID — to “preserving America’s democracy.” “Preserving America’s democracy shouldn’t be a partisan issue. But the fact is that Republican-led legislatures have enacted at least 22 news laws this year restricting access to voting,” she claimed alongside a map from the Brennan Center for Justice.

Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Sunday on MSNBC’s “Alex Witt Reports” called the Republican Party “anti-democratic.” Witt said, “Here is something that investigative reporters have gotten ahold of from The New York Times. They report that in Donald Trump’s final weeks in office, his chief of staff, Mark Meadows, repeatedly pushed the Justice Department to investigate unfounded conspiracy theories about the 2020 presidential election. This is according to newly-uncovered emails provided to Congress. What new layer does this add to the effort to undermine the election results? How serious is this direct link to the Oval Office and Donald Trump?” Schiff said, “It’s very serious.

Democrats should aid illegal migrants by taking the “radical” step of ending filibuster protections for political minorities in the United States, according to Jorge Ramos, the Mexican-born, pro-migration, Spanish-language TV anchor. “Democrats still lack the votes to overturn the current Senate rules, which effectively require proponents of most bills to muster 60-vote supermajorities to advance them,” Ramos declared in the June 4 edition of the New York Times. The 60-vote rule in the 100-member Senate helps 330 million Americans preserve their rights by forcing compromises from powerful majorities in Congress. Ramos demanded: End the minority party’s power to stall legislation — the filibuster —

A 350-pound, large-breasted man pummeled a diminutive woman (actually two women) in Gardena, Calif., over the weekend. Fortunately, the second beating was caught on video, leading to the suspect’s arrest. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department released surveillance photos and video showing the shirtless “man” coolly walk up to a woman and brutally pound her. He then continued to hit her as she was on the ground. At one point in the video, he grabs her hair and slams her head against her car. He then walks back to his vehicle. The unidentified suspect was arrested this weekend

A new internal report written by three Democratic Party interest groups sought to dissect and explain the party’s supposedly inexplicable losses in 2020. Where Democrats were confident that they would pick up five or six Senate seats, they picked up only three, two of them in the special election in Georgia. In the House, Republicans flipped an even dozen seats, coming within 5 seats of a majority. Democrats won the presidency, but despite gaining majorities in Congress, they are still worried. Several factions within their coalition didn’t give them the support they were expecting.

World War II history has always been a special interest of mine. I’m in awe of the bravery shown by the millions of men and women who served in the military and the unified efforts of the Americans at home, and, since three of my grandparents served in the military (and the fourth worked as a Rosie the Riveter and, for a brief time, with OSS) I grew up hearing family stories from that era. But in 2007, D-Day became far more personal to me. That year I was given a box of 300 letters my grandfather had written to my grandmother during World War 2,

The family of Ashli Babbitt is suing Washington, D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) to learn the identity of the officer who fatally shot Babbitt in the Capitol on January 6. Court documents show that the plaintiff, Aaron Babbitt, filed the lawsuit on April 21, 2021. Under Washington code, the MPD was supposed to produce the requested information or prove that the department is legally exempt from doing so within 15 days. As of June 4, the department has yet to do either. Aaron Bobbitt’s attorney, Terrell Roberts, stated the problem with the lawsuit is that Capitol Police are not subject to the law regarding the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
