A Michigan court has ruled that a recall effort against Governor Gretchen Whitmer, a woman with no moral or leadership character, can proceed. That’s good news. However, it is the response from the governor that appears to be the buried lead. Specifically because the statement also included “courts” and the “ballot Box”, the third line of attack from the governor’s office implies acts of violence “on the streets” against her political opposition. (Snip)“We plan to appeal this disappointing decision, and we fully intend to beat back these irresponsible partisan attacks against the governor in the courts, on the streets, or at the ballot.

BRACKETTVILLE, Texas—The tens of thousands of illegal aliens that evade Border Patrol every month—hoping to slip undetected to large cities up north—are now being confronted by sheriffs who are starting to charge them for trespassing, evading arrest on foot, and endangering the life or health of a child.
Seeing no solutions to the border crisis from the federal government, some counties are looking at all possible means to rein in the high-speed vehicle pursuits, trespassing, break-ins, vehicle thefts, and other crimes that are increasing in their communities.
“I’m going to start here, locally. If we catch them, we’re going to start prosecuting these people that are trespassing on y’all’s property,” Kinney County
Unanimously ruling against a Chinese asylum claimant, the Supreme Court reversed the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals this morning, finding immigration judges do not have to explicitly state that an asylum seeker’s story is not credible when finding against him.
The court’s opinion in the case, Garland v. Dai, court file 19-1155, was written by Justice Neil Gorsuch.
“The Ninth Circuit has long applied a special rule in immigration disputes,” Gorsuch wrote.
“The rule provides that, in the absence of an explicit adverse credibility determination by an immigration judge or the Board of Immigration Appeals, a reviewing court must treat a petitioning alien’s testimony as credible and true.”

We’ve seen people blindly turn over their lives to the dictates of the government. The government shut down businesses, jobs and destroyed lives. Children went without in-person school. Every other illness or condition seemed to be suborned to the interest of fighting the pandemic.
When the CDC said that fully vaccinated people could now go without masks, one would think that those on the left who said “Follow the science” would have been happy. This meant they could drop the masks.
