Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis made a surprise visit to the grand opening of the new Delray Beach Market on Saturday, a 150,000-square-foot facility that became the state’s largest food hall.Located near the Atlantic Avenue dining district, DeSantis dropped in on the grand opening of the new market that features more than two dozen unique culinary choices to help the business owners — some of whom relocated from stagnant New York — as well as continue to celebrate post-COVID reopenings. And in doing so, the popular conservative governor provided his detractors on the left with a new trigger: The way he ate a piece of pizza.

He could hold the pizza with his toes for all I care. DeSantis is one hell of a governor. I can see him in 2024 as the VP from President Trump runs.

In Italy - - you sit at a table - - and eat pizza with a knife and fork - - the way Warren Wilhelm did it. In New York - - the birthplace of American pizza - - you pick it up and shove it into your face - - the way De Santis did it. Both styles are socially acceptable.

I noticed something else important. Some in the background had masks on and most didn’t. After more than a year of Karensville, that’s how it should be. You think a mask is effective, wear it. Start destroying him now like Donald Trump he's a savage Neanderthal setting the narrative early.
