The progressive left-wing in this country loves to throw gasoline on the fires of unrest in this nation, but they are never really interested in finding reasonable solutions. Case in point: the problem of police violence in America. This is not a new problem. It is not a problem that’s just popped up out of thin air. Black Americans have been complaining about the issue for decades and decades (Snip) As the verdict in the Chauvin trial came down, the hot takes spread across social media like flaming trash piles and naturally, one hot take that is going to be popping up is the complaint that Congress has done nothing

Resisting arrest is the cause of almost every police involved shooting or incident. This is the real epidemic in this country. If one doesn't get involved in committing crime or breaking the law, then trying to get away by fighting the police, one wouldn't have a problem. Tens of millions of people go through life, and outside of an automobile accident or breaking a traffic law, never have any interaction with police. It's not that difficult.

Yes, it's outrageous that Kira Davis from Red State cites, "the problem of police violence in America." Really? The media really has brainwashed so many, including supposedly intelligent people. Talking about increased training or different tactics feeds into the Marxist media narrative. The police are not the problem. In every one of these incidents the offender resisted arrest. Once a black person resists they have the upper hand. If they end up with bruises or shot they will sue and the policeman will be put on the hot seat or in jail, and the perp and/or his family gets a big payday. Put the blame where it belongs, on the miscreant who is resisting arrest. Imagine what it must be like in this climate for a police officer to make a traffic stop and encounter a hostile minority member. It's an impossible situation.

It’s not a problem of police violence. It’s a problem of black culture and black violence. The stats on violence in black urban communities on any given weekend tell the story. The story that the enemedia and the demonrats ignore.

Congress does not do anything because they can't do anything without incurring the wrath of the segment of the population that does all of the complaining. It's such a simple solution, hire black police officers exclusively. No more police brutality, no more white racist cops. Let the white folks protect their own neighborhoods with their own weapons. Life would be so good.

Agree, #7. But the whole point is that there is video of a white man kneeling on a black man’s neck until he dies, of whatever causes. It is symbolic of everything to many. And they will use that video to kneel on whites’ necks forever.

The real problem aside from repeat offenders resisting arrest and police not knowing when they will be the murder victim, not assault, murder; is the fascist prosecutors elected with Nazi collaborator money do not discipline and weed out the bad cops. Chauvin had 18 excessive force charges all dismissed or never pursued? Including 3 when the dishonorable senator Amy Klobuchar was Minneapolis prosecutor? Where is the Klobuchar trial or civil suit for dereliction?

The reason that the leftist and liberal Democrats “crushed” the police reform bill proposed by Senator Tim Scott was not because Scott is a Black man, but because he is a Republican US Senator. In that respect the leftist and liberal Democrats will continue to “crush” any such bill that benefits Black Americans that is proposed by any Republican in Congress. The leftist and liberal Democrats believe that they have the majority of Black people and their communities under Democrat control and absolutely do not want and will oppose any beneficial bill the Republicans propose that has any chance to cause Black people to vote for Republican candidates. The Democrats will then exploit and use such Republican bills, change them to add money for Democrat Black community supporting individuals and organizations, and will pass those measures claiming that those are Democrat bills that will benefit Black America. In other words what the Democrats are saying is that Black individuals and communities belong to them politically and that Republicans should stay away.

A police officer goes rogue and is convicted on all charges of murder --- even when the charges are contradictory! The jury was given the option of a lesser plea when it was felt they might not go for the full 2nd degree which involves an intent to cause harm. Anger or fear or whatever made the cop do it. The jury was offered ... after much discussion and the judge intervening ... the option to go for the lesser 3rd degree murder. That's "involuntary" manslaughter. Meaning, the officer basically killed the victim by accident. He didn't really want to do it ... but he did. Bad on him. Usually juries pick one or the other charge. Instead these idiots picked both! So ... the officer accidentally killed the victim ... while he was also meaning to do it. Huh?? The jury threw the book at Chauvin because they were scared for their lives and their city. That is the quintessential example of mob rule and blood lust. We are in Paris now, circa July 1793, when everyone & anyone could face the guillotine who the mob didn't like. The after-effects will soon be known. Every thug ... especially those of color ... will now feel they have permission to refuse any order by a police officer that they do not like. Halt? No ... keep running. Drop the gun!! I don't want to. Get out of the car please ... nope! It won't end pretty!
