Rush Limbaugh’s wife Kathryn announced Monday she is planning a virtual memorial service for the millions of fans who wish to pay their final respects to the late radio host. “We are in the initial stages of planning a celebration of life that will be able to be viewed by all of the audience and friends and extended family at some point in the near future. We don’t have an exact date just yet, we’re working on some of the logistics,” Kathryn Limbaugh, 44, said according to Fox News. Kathryn, who married Limbaugh in 2010, appeared Monday on “The Rush Limbaugh Show” with guest host Mark Steyn to remember

Can anyone imagine a public gathering to honor Rush? With the number of attendees that would show up, they would need it to be held in outdoor setting akin to Woodstock.

Nothing was going to get between me and my radio yesterday, dialed in to hear the bumper music (which now brings a tear to my eye) signaling the beginning of our time with Mrs. Limbaugh. Mark couldn't have been more perfect as host, balancing solemnity, joy, respect, and love--with just the right dash of humor that certainly was needed. My heart ached for her, but I am so appreciative of the opportunity to grieve with her and to hear her speak to and with us. She was so poised, gentle, and compassionate, and told callers how sorry she was for THEIR loss at this time. It was clear that she was so much more than Rush's wife--she was his full partner in every way. I know that she will put together a Memorial for him that will be exactly on point. As we continue to try to process this loss, it's important, as she says, to continue the mission that he dedicated his entire being to. God bless this amazing woman, and may she find comfort in the waves of love being sent her way.

She needs to plan a memorial for the United States of America. We have been defeated. We are now officially a banana republic, with the Capitol surrounded by barbed wire and 5,000 Black Shirts (National Guard?) surrounding. We have a senile figurehead, who mumbles the "n" word when he can't read his teleprompter. When I see him signing executive orders, I think of the photos of our prisoners in North Korea. Sundowner Joe is surrounded by armed troops, with Mattressback ready to swoop in. He has no idea what he is doing. And that is the way the Dems want it.

ATLANTA—The Georgia Senate on Tuesday pushed through the first batch of what could be a raft of restrictive voting measures Republican lawmakers say will safeguard voting but Democrats decry as based on a lie and aimed at overturning their party's recent electoral success in Georgia. The most important measure passed was Senate Bill 67, which carried on a largely party-line 35-18 vote. It would require that a voter include their driver’s license number, other state identification number or a photocopy of an approved ID when applying for an absentee ballot. That would replace the current process of signature verification, one of the key elements former President Donald Trump and others attacked

The United Nations is reportedly helping the Biden Administration find more asylum-seeking migrants to get back into the United States after they were removed to Mexico or Central America to await asylum processing under the Trump administration’s Migrant Protection Protocols. Governor Greg Abbott requested statewide designation for major disaster relief from President Biden. Biden denied the statewide designation and only approved some counties in Texas, not all of them. Abbott asked for a declaration that covered the entire state because the winter storm knocked out power and heat throughout the state, as well as leaving millions of Texans without water. Texas has 254 counties. Biden approved only 77 counties for disaster relief. The governor calls it an important first step but it falls far short of what Texas officials requested.
