President Joe Biden told Americans on Tuesday that they had “never fully lived up to the founding principles of this nation.”
Biden was speaking at the White House on the occasion of signing four executive orders that, he claimed, would address racial “equity.”With Vice President Kamala Harris — the country’s first African and Asian American woman in that role — looking on, Biden said: We have never fully lived up to the founding principles of this nation, to state the obvious, that all people are created equal and have a right to be treated equally throughout their lives. And it’s time to act now, not only because it’s the right thing

How would the senile usurper know what our founding principles are?
If he does know, for him it's merely a todo list of things to be destroyed.

I agree. We haven't lived up to our founding principles. Starting with the adoption of the 17th amendment, The New Deal etc etc. We have in fact, largely overlooked, bypassed and violated the founding principles and constitution. Some of it for the better, but most of it consolidates power at the federal level.
Then there was the admonition that or Republic required integrity, honesty, honor and the belief in a higher power for it to function properly. The first three are rare commodities in DC, which brought about the denigrating of religion.
Any "democrat" idea, takes us further away from the founding principles in the name of equality. Which ISN'T what they claim it too be.

So what if he’s right? Does that mean our founding principles are bad and that liberty must be curtailed for all?

The statement, like many the Democrats make is based on fact. They just don't identify the fact that THEY are the reason we keep faling short.
Racism
Eugenics
Drugs
Violence
Pro-Abortion
Pro-pedophile
Anti-science (they peddle fantasy as science)
Anti-Law and order
I could go on. Its a classic case of "before you speak of the speck in your neighbor's eye, first remove the log from your own."

Not my President Biden...you, your party, the Republican swamp rats, and your woke cancel culture brown shirt supporters have not lived up to the founding principles. 2022 can't come fast enough and let's hope all the Texas, Florida, and Trump judges can resist and stop his EOs and illegal policies until then.

Let me see if I have this right. The head of an organization that started a war to keep Blacks slaves, is now trying to tell us, members of the organization that fought and won that war to free Blacks, that we are racists and have 'never fully lived up to the founding principles' of this nation?
I would say it's you, the 'rats who have never lived up to the founding principles of this nation.

Nor have we ever lived up to the founding principles in the Bible - but that doesn’t mean we throw it out, give up. It means we keep trying.

I don't believe this doofus fraud is channeling any one of the Founding Fathers. This senile low IQ idiot wouldn't know the founding principles of this nation if they came up and slapped him in his ugly drooling face. Someone was telling him this in the ear piece he wears like "salute the Marines Joe". We are watching the nation being run by a cabal of vindictive ignorant Jokers.

Some enterprising journalist or reasonably conscious Republican official might ask him why, if he is so concerned about our country not living up to its founding principles, he and his party and followers are actively trying to get rid of the following core founding principles:
Freedom of speech
Freedom of religion
Freedom of association
Right to assembly
Right to bear arms

China Joe has not had an original thought his entire life. He has sold out to China, and he lectures us on how America should work. What a hypocrite.
"We have never fully lived up to the founding principles of this nation". Where did you get that from Joe? My bet is from your old boss Obama. Bet he said it alot when running his mouth, and it actually stuck in Joe's feeble mind.

They're the ones who elevate Margaret Sanger, who thought "those people" should not reproduce, but turn up their noses when our Founding Fathers are mentioned. They have a problem with racism and disdain for the poor but wring their hands within the confines of their gated communities.

Your party sure hasn't that is pretty much written in concrete Joe. Democrats have been anti-freedom, anti-Christian, and anti rugged individualism since the boil on our nation was founded. You are however FOR death to the unborn, slavery, tyranny, genocide, starting foreign wars that shouldn't be our business and putting your jackbooted feet on anything anytime especially the economy and free speech.

First impulse of the Dem/Left is ALWAYS to condemn, demean, disrespect our Republic from its Founding. Even here, thinking about the imperfectability of Man and all his creations, though, those wise Founders articulated the hope that we would always endeavor toward a "more perfect union."
Alas, what we are seeing is a blatant violent energy on the Left to DIS-unite, to tear us apart, to sew divisions or exacerbate tensions between every conceivable group, including differences of what pronouns you must use in reference to someone.
This is extremely dangerous, and most people do not know what to do. How does one resist this? One thing we can do is vigorously support businesses and individuals with whom we have agreement, even if not entire agreement. This is one reason why i will not stop watching Fox... the Dems intend to destroy Fox. But if anyone thinks somehow the more purist conservative channels will survive, just remember that the Left takes out the top dog first, the rest will succumb. The Left sees how quickly and readily the conservative and Republican sides turn on their own. Easy to defeat an army whose frontline soldiers are bayonetted from behind by their own.
Stop the infighting.
Congress is distracted by the shiny object of "Impeachment of DJT" Reoublicans need to kick this imbecility to the dustbin and pay attention to the revolution going on under their (and our) noses. They need to corner the Feckless Five who in their self-righteousness voted for impeachment and ask them what their real goals and intentions are: save the Republic? or save their sorry arses for posterior [sic].
I forget the source, but the saying goes something like this, "The louder he spoke of his honor, the quicker we counted the spoons."
"Regular Order" is not going to work. There is nothing regular or orderly going on, including, of course, the fiction of the "2020 election." Hannibal intra portas: Those in the battle need to understand the enemy, and THIS enemy is within the gates.
