Now that the date has been set for the unprecedented second impeachment of former President Donald J. Trump, the only question remaining is whether enough Republicans join Democrats in convicting him on bogus charges. There will need to be 17 Republicans willing to pull the trigger in order to prevent Trump from ever running for president again. And while it has been reported that there are few outside of the klatch of die-hard Never Trumpers who would convict, one key GOP senator wants him gone.Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is reportedly siding with the lynch mob

So the veil has been raised. Dump Trump was never conservative vs liberal or Republican vs Democrat. It was always newcomer vs Washington insiders.

THIS is what you get when you vote for the guy with the R after his name just to keep the D out. If we ever get that admonition again, and we all will, I'm punching someone in the nose.

Got a begging letter from the RNCC today in the mail. They made the mistake of sending a postpaid envelope. They're getting back a hot letter and no check. I didn't sign it so they'll waste more money sending me another.

Rules for voting:
In the Primary, never vote for an incumbent
In the General, never vote for a Democrat
It is just that simple.

At this time, the Republi-Can't Party is dead to me. They are spineless and impotent. I officially became a "conservative independent" a couple of weeks ago after watching the stab President Trump in the back one too many times!!!
But if they actually go through with this unconstitutional travesty of power, they will officially be my enemies every bit as much as the Demon-Rats!!! Ronald Reagan must be spinning in his grave right now!!!

Are you serious about all this? Have you removed the party affiliation from your current voting information? Do you intend to do that or are you just going to wax eloquent about doing it--eventually?

Dump Cocaine Mitch. I am replying "stop" to every Republican plea for $$$. No more. I will support Ron DeSantis and those who supported President Trump. Sadly, Dan Crenshaw is off my list now too. Kevin McCarthy is not the brightest bulb in the circuit but he WAS loyal, but now he has become "Never Again Trump" so he should pay the price as well. He could have been speaker in 2022 but will likely lose seats in the House, unless Paul Ryan's Chamber of Commerce rescues him.

This is where we find out if the Republican party is nothing more than an extension of the Democrat party. If that's the case, most people won't have much use for them. Mitch and the rest of the Republicans are supposed to offer an alternative to the Democrats for all the people that object to their policies.

Got two texts today from Republicans requesting funds - easy enough to reply "STOP". However, the National Republican office actually called me and I calmly explained that I will never donate to the National GOP due to their lack of support for Trump. Caller was very nice, but persistent - I replied a little more testily NEVER! Amazingly he kept coming, so after my third !!NEVER!! I told him the National GOP can go do a circle jerk with the RINOS and DEMS and told him to put my number on the Do Not Call list. To the City Clerk on Monday to change my party affiliation to Independent.

See these people? They’re the “real Republicans” who keep talking bull on Fox and cozy to Rush. They know the suckers come back. All they have to do is shout liberal or Democrat. How many Mitches, Lindseys, Mitts or John McCains must there be to turn on that lightbulb? Enjoying that cognitive dissonance? Enjoy being played?

I switched to independent after the GOPe foisted that spineless turncoat Romney on us. I'm a conservative with libertarian leanings, not a uniparty milksop.
If Mr Trump (or anyone else) starts a new party, I will certainly give it a look. I don't owe the GOP anything.

Looks like there is a chance that the wimpy DC Senate Republicans are getting ready to assist the Senate Democrats in accomplishing their dirty work, by going along with a sham impeachment charge in an unconstitutional impeachment trial. An ill considered action that is bound to amount to those Republican politicians cruising right into political suicide, that is bound to occur, if only about half of today’s Trump supporters refuse to vote in future State Republican Primary Elections for any incumbent DC Republicans. The way to change the Republican Party is not to vote for the Democrats, but make changes internally by ousting wimpy DC Republican incumbent politicians by not voting for them in future Republican State level primary elections when they run for re-election. The big problem with the Republican Party today is at the State Republican Party level, where RINOs and covert Democrats who are running as Republicans get nominated in what are supposed to be conservative States.

he's been on my "Letters To" list for a long time, well, since 2016 anyway, prior to that I really didn't think he was of any relevance. really does demonstrate the strata element in D.C. too bad DJT supported him and got him re-elected in the 2020 election. who advised DJT to do that, I wonder?

When I received an email from the state GOP office today, I sent them an email about why I am changing my Party affiliation. Mitch was mentioned. They wouldn't stand by Trump, so I am gone. Friday I called to change my Party locally.

If they can do a faux impeachment, why would anyone bother to refuse President Trump the ability to run again? And, just because they get rid of Trump doesn't mean they cancel the rest of US. There are some of US who will be working our tails off to make the lives of RINOs miserable. It started with people not coming out to vote in the two GA senators; cheating notwithstanding, the message was sent. The turkey man can't go out as a leader, he has to go out second to bottom feeder upchuck. Yeah, we did that to you, glitch! Why, because we knew you'd go along with xiden and the other marxists every chance you got. Now you have to do it as followers, not leaders. If the dems lost the senate to 50/50, they would have made you fools share committee chairmanships. And you would have acquiesced in the spirit of bipartisanship. You demand nothing, you useless pukes.
