President Joe Biden on his first day on the job axed the Keystone XL Pipeline, drawing the ire of union workers, industry stakeholders, and GOP lawmakers whose states will be negatively impacted by the decision.Mike Sommers, president and CEO of trade group American Petroleum Institute, said Biden’s announcement “is a slap in the face to the thousands of union workers who are already a part of this safe and sustainable project.”“This misguided move will hamper America’s economic recovery, undermine North American energy security, and strain relations with one of America’s greatest allies,” Sommers said.Mark McManus, general president of the United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters, said in a statement:

In addition the fraudulent "election" of the pretender to the presidency is a slap in the face to over 75,000,000 voters.

It's a slap to ALL workers unionized or not! The Trump Economy allowed a huge recovery after the 2008 melt-down. It's Xiden's turn to trash the economy again.

Well the Europeans love the general strike. Maybe the unions in this country should take note. We the people would be happy to support all the men and women who bring our food and fuel and heating oil and natural gas to us. I am sure none of us want to see those gas prices go through the roof again. Oil was 245 a gallon the first summer Obama was in office I am sure Joe is trying to top that one. Trump has us down to $50 a gal but that won't last for long with these insane policies.

It was part of this deal. Now we can go back to depending on oil from Saudi Arabia and China will buy the oil from Canada. All the while Sleepy Joe gives the finger to 11,000 union workers who were employed building the pipeline. This is who Sleepy Joe really is.

Unions have consistently backed the dems. Biteme and Bedme are going to destroy them and the economy. All the low info voters that helped get the frauds into office are going to feel the pain. Once the amnesty starts and the no longer illegals start taking their jobs hopefully they'll feel the pain. I drive by a place where the illegals congregate to wait for contractors to pick them up everyday, they want to work and are out no matter what the weather. Very rarely do I see what I assume to be legal white and minority workers looking for work. Once the illegals start voting watch how quickly they leave the dems behind. They've come from countries run with dem idealogy, for a better life. They may become a whole new source of republican voters, although at this point repub or dem really no difference in the swamp.

What’s the problem? He told you that he was going to do it and you voted for him anyway. Not to mention his ban on fracking.

No sympathy for union members. They are told to vote dimocrat no matter who the flunky politician is and know that their dues goes to contributions to that party. Now they can wait for Joe's stimulus checks.

With the wave of his magic pen, Biden made thousands of Union employees UNEMPLOYED, suppliers and those that benefited from the construction will also lose jobs. Local communities will feel the financial pinch. Biden doesn't care, it mostly effects red states. His magic also hurt our neighbor to the north, Canada. It hurts the entire USA by making us a little more dependent on foreign oil. Who did his edict help? People who hate us...Russia, Iran, and others in the middle east. As usual, Biden's actions hurt the US but helped foreigners.
