Several GOP state lawmakers have filed 12 articles of impeachment against Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, over their fellow Republican’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic. The articles, which were filed by Rep. John Becker, accuse Mr. DeWine of numerous abuses of power in the past several months, including threats to veto a bill to limit the governor’s emergency powers.
“Governor DeWine‘s mismanagement, malfeasance, misfeasance, abuse of power, and other crimes include, but are not limited to, meddling in the conduct of a presidential primary election, arbitrarily closing and placing curfews on certain businesses, while allowing other businesses to remain open. We are currently under curfew between 10p and 3a. I was afraid he would be more strict.
I have a friend here with a 31 year/50 seat diner. In 2019 he had done $1 million. First time. Since March he has been take out only. As of this week he is only open Fri,Sat and Sun, take out only. He said that the weekdays were a wash anyway, but the employees could earn their money. No more. DeWine killed it.
I call Fred my hero. Great guy.

I live in Ohio and cannot stand DeWine! He just wanted another government pension. He hates Trump and did nothing to help reelect him.

Speaking of RINO Governors and Trump haters lest not forget Fat Larry Hogan of Maryland.
If he ever runs for President, please vote for someone else.
Unless you like a republican run by democrats.

As an Ohioan, believe me, this guy is drunk on power. The restrictions he has placed on this state are arbitrary and unnecessary. He will gladly send in his little goons to make sure businesses are in compliance. However, protests? They are fine, no social distancing, no masks. He even exempted himself from mask wearing and was caught in a grocery store without one while the rest of us struggle to breathe while wearing them. He is an awful little man without the capacity to understand his own hypocrisy.
Ohioans did not enthusiastically support his run for governor but he was better than the alternative or so we thought. He has proven himself to be a tyrannical mental midget who loves the spotlight and destroys small businesses because he can. He closed our fairs but conveniently allowed the one in which his kids were participating to open. As much as he has been a thorn in our side, the Republican leadership has until now been very passive in regard to his edicts. In Ohio the governor is given emergency powers for two or three weeks and them he must go through the legislature to extend that time. He did not and the legislature did not call him on it. I am very grateful that they are finally taking a stand against his tyranny. Most Ohioans support his impeachment. We are tired of losing our freedoms to power hungry politicians. We have some great leaders in this state and I applaud them for standing up for us, our small businesses, and freedom.

Dewine has followed the course of many nominal Christians -- John Thune is another example -- by bowing at the feet of the mob that he ACTUALLY worships.
