This year, I took up the challenge to "put your money where your mouth is" by becoming a Republican election poll worker in my precinct in Ohio. Having now worked 17 straight hours on the inside of the election process, checking in and processing voters, as well as being one of the two persons responsible for delivering my precincts votes to the local Board of Elections, one irrefutable fact emerges from that experience: the way in which we hold our national elections is ridiculous and inexcusable. This is the untold story of the 2020 elections and a question everyone needs to ask.For this national election,

We have a similar system here in the FL Panhandle - works great. I KNOW my vote made it to the final tally.

Remember - if the BOE spoils votes through their own incompetence - THEY ARE STILL SPOILED.

While it is true that the powers that currently control the way votes are counted in those problematic states do it the way they is because those powers want it that way, but ultimately it is because the voters do not demand that they do it better.

I voted in Ohio on Election Day and was very impressed with this system. It was efficient, I felt as though my identity was vetted, and I felt confident that my vote was accurately recorded. And Ohio’s results were never in doubt. I used to be a poll worker years ago and quit when I lost confidence in the machines and technology we were tasked with managing,

The lousy systems are a feature not a bug for the corrupt.

As a poll worker in Missouri I can attest that our system is very similar to the one in Ohio with the same result. Although, while we have both the digital and paper options, we much prefer paper. We could have dozens of people filling in their ballots at any given time and not having to wait to use the digital machine; which seems to be where much of any delay takes place.

Here is a great article about vote fraud and how Obama wrote the gov't has no authority to go after voter fraud. Barr rejects this and is why Pfilger resigned. Maybe we will see some changes. I like the purple finger idea. (like they did in Iraq or Iran-I forget which). https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2020/11/the_real_story_behind_ag_barr_authorizing_investigations_of_vote_fraud_blows_away_the_msm_narrative.html

I believe that, no matter who is inaugurated on January 20, America needs a constitutional amendment spelling out in great detail exactly how our federal elections must be run.
Legal experts like Jonathan Turley, Ken Starr, Mark Levin, and Ted Cruz must write it.
Make it completely fair. Get a Senator and a Congressperson to introduce it, and publicize who is for it and who is against it -- in Congress and in the state legislatures.
A few ideas:
Election "day" should be restricted to four days ending with the first Tuesday in November: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
All votes (except Military absentees) must be received by official voting places by 11:59 PM Tuesday. Military absentee ballots get one more week.
All absentee ballots must be requested by the registered voter. No mass mailings of "mail-in ballots".
Only citizens may vote. Voter photo IDs required for in-person voting -- but provided free of charge by each state, so no one can claim voter suppression.
Partisan poll watchers have the right to check signatures on all votes.
Nationwide system to check that no double-voting has taken place.
All voting places must use fraud-proof machines with paper backup. Any software used must be transparent to all parties. No software "updates" without checks by all parties.
Voting systems must insure that no one can trace which voter voted for which candidate.
All parties have the right to demand a recount for any election within 10 percent.
Americans need elections they can trust.

Without the current system and it's many holes, democrats could not get elected to anything. Dogs would be running rampant without licenses everywhere.

I worked as a poll watcher from the time the seals were broken on the machines to the time the ballot counting tapes were run, the two thumb drives (to ensure data accuracy in case one became corrupted) were sealed, and the paper ballots also locked. In fact, my county in Texas operates very much as described.
As we are discovering, the soft cheat point is the internal code that translates the ballot into electronic data. A few votes shuffled from here to there, and who know the difference. What's a percent or two or three in a tight race? Just the difference between winning and losing, yet not enough to trigger audits or recounts, so those paper ballots go into that dark warehouse of stuff until destroyed.
If I were king, the first thing that would end is the "provisional ballot". If you changed address and failed to update your drivers license, which is the beating heart of ID, to update the registration, that's tough. If you are shown to have gotten a mail ballot...you are considered to have voted. No ballot for you. If you scrawl some illegible signature that doesn't match that on your ID, one chance to fix it, or no ballot.
As for early voting...a week early should be sufficient. It need not drag on for weeks, COVIDS or not. And let's crack down on vote harvesting, phony registrations and all that.
Any of these "common sense" reforms would only be a good start. There should also be a forensic certification of the codes used in electronic voting before every election...stopping the hidden monkey business that seems to have been uncovered in places.
