Fox News is currently engaged in full damage control after they exposed themselves with manipulative election coverage and destroyed their credibility in the most brutal fashion imaginable. That said, CTH has written about the Fox Agenda for years, but even we didn’t know the details of the scheme construct until this tweet from Guy Benson: (Tweet) Setting aside that Benson spelled Daron Shaw’s name wrong; and reminding yourself that Guy Benson is a paid Fox News contributor; what he has outlined in that tweet is actually quite remarkable. The pollster paid by Fox News to predict election outcomes,

Although Daron Shaw is a member of Fox’s Decision Desk and runs a polling company, it is Arnon Mishkin who has run Fox’s Decision Desk and its polling operation for 20 years. And it was Mishkin who was the spokesman for the Decision Desk, the one who made the bizarrely early call for Arizona and stuck with it, smugly and rather arrogantly, even after Bret Baier and others questioned it. A Democrat from New York, Mishkin has written political op-eds for Fox for some time as well. My two bits say he voted for Biden, and that his Fox poll probably called for a Biden win and he used that to “assume” who all those uncounted ballots had to ultimately go for Biden. Manipulation.
Daron Shaw did not show up until Mishkin had been showered with disdain, and he - ostensibly a Republican - was brought in to calm the waters...

Los Angeles Times, October 2020:
"Meet Arnon Mishkin, the Fox News analyst who will call the winner of the election"
President Trump has sustained himself during a challenging 2020 campaign against former vice president Joe Biden with friendly interviews and support from the Fox News opinion hosts. But on Nov. 3, he can’t count on a break from the network’s political number-crunchers, who will be in charge as election results roll in.
The Fox News election “decision desk” is insulated from the right-leaning partisan pundits on the network. Arnon Mishkin, 65, leads the group of pollsters, statisticians and political scientists who will analyze the vote count, polling numbers and historical trends and determine the winners of the races for president, as well as the House and Senate races.
The operation has a track record of playing it straight and calling races correctly — even when it’s bad news for the Republicans. (Mishkin is also involved in the Fox News polling unit, which has gotten under the president’s skin throughout the campaign as it has consistently shown him running behind Biden.)

We were watching as Fox was calling States like CA, WA, OR even before the counting began, and then called AZ for Bidet, after about 15% of the votes were counted! What?? Then they refused to call States with >90% of the votes counted where Trump was clearly ahead. It was pretty obvious the "fix" was in at Fox. By contrast I was watching CND on my phone and they were waaaay more cautious and balanced and refused to call a State until it was clearly obvious who had won. I'll never trust Fox again and have lumped them into the MSM category.

There are still a hand full of personalities I will watch on FOX. But I will no longer turn on FOX and just let it run all day. I'll turn on the shows I want to view and turn off FOX at all other times. I have other choices.

I'm done with FOX. Tuned into Tucker last night and changed my mind, Tucker better move to NewsMax TV. Removed FOX from my favorites on cable and web. See ya !!(Or rather Won't see ya !!) I had already been switching the channel for too many of their personnel(too many to list). Really upset when the girls from Outnumbered attacked Newt, with half-heated apology later. I agree, blame Paul Ryan.

Fox is dead. I like Hannity (except his ego), Laura, and Tucker but, sadly, they're not enough to keep me watching. I think I'll switch to OANN or Newmax.
Whether it's Paul Ryan or the Murdock brothers, they've left the middle of the road and are driving straight into a ditch.
THIS ELECTION NEEDS TO BE SALVAGED!!! NOW!!!

I peeked over at Fox from OANN and Newsmax and actually caught that outrageous exchange between Bair, MacCallum and Mishkin. The smugness and arrogance of that man had me yelling at all three.
Everybody needs to switch to OANN and Newsmax.

The capacity to project winners in an election is credited to Professor Roscoe Martin, who, back in the 1930s, noticed patterns of voter behavior in certain voting precincts in Texas.
As that process developed over time, exit polling was added.
Then in 2004, exit polling blew up in the faces of the networks, (voters lied to the pollsters) so exit polling disappeared for a decade.
What Fox is now using is a combination of key precinct analysis, exit polling, and interviews with voters, in more depth than exit polling.

Fox Snooze is hostile to Trump. It has been clearly apparent for quite some time. Chris Wallass has been right there attacking Trump, and the insiders behind the cameras have been scheming and scamming around the clock. Now they are spinning the newest talking point of there is no evidence of voter fraud. Yeah sure right. Sell that on CNN will you please. I am sick of them. I have been tuning in to OAN News lately. It's time to jump ship.

The Fox coverage of election night was silly, unprofessional, uninformative, historically illiterate, and an embarrassment. As the evening wore on, almost everyone on set became giddy with fatigue (fatigue?) with a teenagers at slumber party vibe of shrill laughter and inside jokes of when they could go home. The steering of the reporting by arbitrary calls or non calls proved that it was not a newscast at all, but just a show...I mean if they called a state and it became clear that Trump had won, their audience would have gone to bed and ratings a problem. Party on dudes and dudettes, keep turning to Donna Brazile and Chris Wallace for proof positive that incompetence is always rewarded, and watch your watchers fade away permanently.

If the call on Arizona turns out to be right, that doesn't mean the call should have been made. Calls are supposed to mean one candidate has won, not predict which candidate will win. The Fox analysts defend their action by saying they thought Biden would win. That's not good enough. Back in 2,000, Florida was called first for Gore, then for Bush. Both calls were retracted. The fact that Bush won eventually didn't mean the call for him shouldn't have been retracted. Fox is dead to me.

Another good person on FOX is Lou Dobbs. But we no longer listen to Wallace ... swampy, pro-commie rat! Used to like Brit Hume and Bret Baer, but they have gone "fence-sitter".. too concerned with own careers and salaries to support America.

Predictions re FNC/FBN: Tucker Carlson will be forcibly suspended by end of year over some fake charges and won't return. The remnant conservatives like Charles Payne, Laura Ingraham, Jessie Watters, and Judge Jeanine will be moving off Fox, voluntarily or not, by 2021. Lou Dobbs will be forcibly retired. Hannity has his radio show, as does Jeanine Pirro in NY. Let's all note that Bill O'Reilly is thriving with his own company.
Newsmax should pick up Laura Ingraham in some capacity (I'd love to see her days), but they have a great lineup now. OANN doesn't have the carriage on cable nets to afford top level people, but they're a great alternative. (I don't know about their online/subscription coverage).

Let us not forget the best conservative humorist of our age...the GREAT Greg Gutfeld. I'd love to see him exit stage right from Fox, and maybe go to the ascendant Newsmax. Losing Gutfeld would be a deep blow to Fox News. He's not merely funny....he is BRILLIANT.

Fox has strayed too far from its conservative roots.
Should President Trump lose this election, I can see him establishing his own news network. He can continue to have commentary and influence on public affairs, and will offer a conservative, populist alternative to the alphabet legacy networks, and also to Fox.
Mr. Trump would take great pride in bringing down Fox.

I started moving away when that stupid premise Outnumbered became a show. Of course, it was all female with one man. So much for fair & balanced.
The anchors who stay are evidently fine working for Disney. FNC is actively a poison propaganda machine misleading Americans and working against America 24/7. THESE folks are not forced to work there. I doubt Lou or Tucker will be there much longer. I doubt a fat contract can buy their integrity.

They will be down with MSNBC and CNN in time. I will miss Tucker. I wish he would go to NEWSMAX..my new favorite channel. FOX forgot who put them up in ratings.. and it wasn't Eddie Munster aka Paul Ryan or Donna or Juan..
