WASHINGTON— President Donald Trump and challenger Joe Biden will compete for TV audiences in dueling town halls on Thursday night instead of meeting face-to-face for their second debate as originally planned. The two will take questions in different cities on different networks: Trump on NBC from Miami, Biden on ABC from Philadelphia. Trump backed out of plans for the presidential faceoff originally scheduled for the evening after debate organizers said it would be held virtually following Trump’s coronavirus diagnosis.

Will the media report viewership numbers for the dueling townhalls? Bet Trump's will be better by a large number. Would that be a predictor of the vote? Trump voters will watch Trump. Biden voter will watch Biden.

Yeah I can't wait.
NBC: Mr. President, why are you a tax-dodging non-mask-wearing racist?
ABC: Mr. Vice President, what's your favorite color? You have 30 minutes.

Picky point with the headline, but wouldn't you think the sitting president's name would come first? You'd be wrong.

I'm DVR-ing both. Trump's so that I can replay the good parts and Biden's to see if he can keep it together. He will have a hard time keeping it under control if anyone presses a question about Hunter. We'll see if ANYONE even bothers to ask.
All of these "revelations" beg the question of Beau Biden's involvement in the Biden Crime Family Syndicate. It would seem that he was the achiever and had all the brains, such as they are, in that family. All of this was going on while he was the Attorney General of Delaware. As the chief law enforcement officer in the state how much cover did he give dear old dad?
Imagine having the "family business" falling to the crack-addled moron "black sheep" of the family. No one has mentioned the stupidity of leaving a computer with all of the details of the crimes that he and the VICE PRESIDENT of the U.S. and foreign governments had committed, porno pictures and illegal drug usage at a local computer repair shop...and...never picking it up, even after repeated calls from the shop owner??!! Even AFTER this stuff was all over every newscast and throughout the sham impeachment trial.
These Dem's a certainly not rocket scientists, but they bank on the MSM having their back and destroying anyone who questions their insane plots. The talk fast, talk loud and accuse the the Right of doing everything that they are, in fact, doing. When will honorable Democrats speak up, and actual journalists rise from the MSM ranks?
We have some extraordinary people on "our side" and genuine journalists. Hopefully they are still able to shame some of their colleagues into action.
Please, Please, Please God, let all of these creatures be brought to justice.

This will be the only time I watch anything on NBC. I protest NBC having a tv license.

Viewershio numbers, if released and honest, are a far better inducator of how the vote will go than any poll.

already know who is getting my "in person" vote on November 3. don't have to sit through the agony of these pea brains trying to catch the President in some innocuous slip of the tongue. the big man will prevail and I don't have to watch any more television to get any further information about who gets my vote.

The babe keeps interrupting PDT. I can't stand it.
Let's see if Biden will hold his hand up to his shoulder to hear the ghost messages coming from his sleeve.....

Just based on the fact that no one ever shows up for any Biden rallies, I expect most of the country to be watching Trump tonight. But It’s so hard to watch.
This Savanna Guthrie is just brutal to Trump, very shrill and not letting him answer. She is interrupting and challenging him constantly, even though she’s just supposed to be the moderator.
This woman is evil personified! And this is a total set up by NBC, worse than expected.
guessing ABC is asking Biden what his favorite color is or something.

I watched Biden for about a minute. Why does he keep gazing off as he speaks?
I wonder if his words are on a readable format that is conveniently out of range of the cameras.

I just watched about 15 minutes of Biden: if you have ever seen and heard someone tripping on speed, it's Biden in his town hall. He is talking in word salads, gushes of disconnected words that wash over one another, swirl in eddies, and go over the waterfall of complete gibberish.
Note to Trump: next debate, please just let him talk. Just sit back and watch what happens.

We are watching the disrespectful nbc/Savannah interview and Pres. Trump is responding cordually, openly and with accuracy. He is doing great despite the obviously adversarial media staged set-up.

So glad I can come here and vent about that horrible Savannah and the way she’s browbeating our president. I never, ever watch these things because they aggravate me so much, but thought I’d take a look because use of the different format. She is a shrill, vile, smarmy creature and he got his point across well in spite of her horribleness. I pray for this man every day and what he’s up against. I could only stand to watch the first 10-15 minutes and I’m disgusted. I’ll hear about the rest on Rush tomorrow. (Was she the one who slept with Matt Lauer?)
