A new report says that President Trump wanted to show he was superhero-strong when he left the hospital after being treated for coronavirus. The New York Times is reporting that while he was at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center receiving coronavirus treatment, President Trump expressed a desire to stage a release-day stunt. The newspaper reported that, on several photo calls made from inside the hospital's presidential suite during his three-day stay, Trump toyed with the idea of likening himself to Superman.

The "Daily Mail" is about 50 steps below "The National Enquirer" as far as being anything that resembles "journalism".
At least "The National Enquirer" gets a story right every once in awhile. The "Daily Mail" just seems to compete with itself to see what insane stories it can make up. Just really, really bad, horribly biased fiction!!!

A belief that one feels better than they have in 20 years is consistent with the use of the steroid dexamethasone. Trump doesn't use alcohol and is unaccustomed to the euphoric effects it can produce.

The DM tsk-tsks about this (bloody prissy Brit fakers) while we think it is extremely amusing. That’s our President!!!

I have been given prednisone (similar to dexamethazone) in MedPaks on several occasions when I was having trouble knocking down a nasty bronchial infection. Worked like a charm.
The nasties out there love to toss around steroids as though the President and I had been given the steroids that body-builders use. They are working their way downhill from ignorant to stupid. Ignorant can be fixed with information; stupid is forever.

If he indeed wanted to do this, I’m glad cooler heads prevailed. We might have thought the stunt was cute, but the ridicule would have been worldwide.

Oh, Lord. Lighten up people. Are you still not able to grasp Trump’s use of hyperbole? However, I would’ve howled with laughter had Trump actually done it.

If he had done that, I would have LOL and probably have to ace bandage my fanny from laughing so hard. He has such a great sense of humor, and knows how to lighten the daily burden with humor. Democrats have their humor genes surgically removed after they swear an oath of loyalty to the party of death.

But for the prissy Daily Mail (UK) there's very little to laugh at in the press nowadays. Prez-envy is written all over their faces.

President Trump is not childish enough to even entertainment such a thought.
This is the sort of infantile notion a demoncrap or one their kind would cinsider. That is the level of "intelligence" they and their cult followers have.

No doubt more fake news based upon “sources” by the anti-Trump rag, the U.K. Daily Mail, that should just stick to harassing Harry and Meghan. Never believe “sources” or the liberal media in October before a big election.

What purpose does a story like this from the NYT serve? No attributable source; no way to confirm or rebut whether he had the thought (since it never happened) and printing such speculative garbage only makes haters hate more. It's like saying you're not racist is now proof that you are. We are reliving the Salem witch trials. If you sink, you're dead. If you don't, you're a witch and we kill you. Either way, you're dead.

Just another anonymous (i.e. hyper-partisan Leftist) trashing the President. This one is probably on the NYT's rapidly-dwindling payroll.

Not believing it, but if he had done it, the shirt would have had a giant brightly colored 'T' on it. Watch lefty heads explode everywhere. Hmmm, where could I get one?

What #7 said! For Pete’s sake, I can see him saying it could be fun. He is a fun-loving guy. Did he do it? Nope. Why are so many here clutching their pearls about this?
We need warriors, not Eeyores. Eeyores are self-fulfilling prophesies. Lighten up and pull up your socks. Think “What would Trump do?” and then remember his 2016 war room slogan “Let Trump Be Trump”...

I DECLARE "FAKE NEWS"!
Really, if it didn't actually happen, how does the Daily Mail rag know this? It isn't as though anyone on the Campaign or close to Trump would talk to a Daily Mail reporter. It is pure speculation and story telling.
Funny...most Trump supporters and conservatives think that it would be funny if Trump did this.
But Democrats would run around with their hair on fire, shouting "See? See? He really thinks he is Superman!!!"

Lest we forget, an awful lot of people in the media (mostly of the Left, but not only) were SURE that the covid would be the end of President Trump. They were sure he was going to die, and in their fervid, corrupted minds he deserved to die by the plague. POTUS is well aware.

I take exception to this. Superman has a Fortress of Solitude, which puts me in mind of Biden in the basement. Trump is a Gotham billionaire who fights crime and owns his own airplane.
Remind you of anyone?

The President of the United States is the only funny, happy thing going on, and as it happens also honest, brave, intelligent, pro-life, on my side, and zooming around with Beauty on his arm. If he wanted to do this, I would have thought it was hilarious. I am relaxing already just thinkin about how funny

Not screaming, just amazed that anyone would put much faith into any report from the NYT via the Daily Mail. It's called a track record and they are both propaganda mills with multiple cases of twisted, exaggerated reports or simply flat out lies.

If indeed he said it - can you believe anything the NYT writes? - I’m sure he said it in jest knowing the effect it would have on fools such as the NYT, CNN and Drudge.
