Sen. Kamala Harris ripped President Trump's Supreme Court pick in a searing statement, setting up a showdown between the 2020 Democratic vice presidential nominee and Judge Amy Coney Barrett when she appears before the Senate Judiciary Committee next month.“Just yesterday, I paid my respects to the legendary Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who devoted her life to fighting for Equal Justice Under Law and a more fair and just world," Harris wrote Saturday. "Her passing is devastating, and it would be a travesty to replace her with a justice who is being selected to undo her legacy and erase everything she did for our country."

Ginsburg was not put on the court to create a legacy of “doing things” for her country. She was to follow the Constitution in relation to issues presented to the court, not write new law. Or subvert the Constitution.

Horizontal Harris didn't rip diddly-squat. She could probably rip a newspaper if you just wet it down first.

I want to hear Kamala on Senate floor opposing this highly qualified jurist..
Is Kamala going to say she isn’t a good mom by working?
Or that her Catholic Faith is a problem?
Or her adopted kids are abused?
What is going to say that will make Kamala look anything other than a nasty, opportunistic evil human being?
Will the alphabet channels show Kamala in full snark? The election contrast could not be clearer..

Astonishing statistical evidence -- the type that federal courts use to bankrupt unwary employers -- shows that Ruth Ginsberg would NEVER have hired Kamala Harris as a law clerk.

STOP with the 'protecting" women's reproduction rights etc. That has NO PLACE in our government. I am sick and tired of hearing this clap trap stuff. Aborting a baby, a HUMAN BEING is murder. Putting abortion under the guise of women's reproductive rights supported and paid for by the government is just putting the OK on murder. Stop the lying, by saying the government approves. WE the people are the government, and most of us do not approve. Dems want popular votes to be the winning a factor, put abortion to a nation wide vote. They will never do it, because the dems would lose.

FTA: "With the next Supreme Court Justice set to determine the fate of protections for those with preexisting health conditions, and reproductive health options, I will continue to fight on behalf of the people and strongly oppose the president’s nomination."
The proper way to address the fate of all policies promoted by Justice Ginsburg is through legislation passed by Congress and signed by the President. As a Senator, Harris can draft and introduce legislation however she wishes. It is then up to the people, through their elected representatives in Congress, to either accept or reject the legislation. That is know as the democratic method of government "of the people, by the people and for the people."
Democrats are apoplectic about the process of passing laws rather than getting their policies imposed by activist judges. Too bad!
Harris should do her job as a legislator in voting for laws and allow the Supreme Court to do their job in interpreting the Constitution and laws passed by Congress.
Perhaps Harris should take one of Judge Barrett's classes in the law and Constitution.

Coming from somebody who is thought to be a Dirty Cop by her own voter base in Cali, this is truly epic irony. She spent her time in Cali LE putting innocent black men into prison and then leaving them there, even when shown with evidence that they were exonerated. RBG was a foul example of somebody who hated our constitution to her liberal democrat core, who wanted a globalist version instead. I am sorry for her family though, and I hope they find some measure of peace.

Am I the only one who thinks the prone one has a serious conflict of interest in pushing the nomination to an administration where she expects to be the real president?
Shouldn't she be recusing herself?
Where are the calls for recusal?

The strategy evolving seems to concede attacking Barrett's religion is a a loser. Instead, she'll be portrayed as a threat to people's health care. It will 2 or 3 pronged.
One, frighten old and sick people with a revival of "throw granny off the cliff" and "no coverage for pre-existing conditions" narratives.
Two, targeted ads will imply or state she will take away women's healthcare - federal funding of abortion.
Maybe three, she will take healthcare away from poor blacks and Hispanics by cutting Medicaid.
The goals will be to get public opinion changed so Republicans will delay the vote until after the election and to scare voters into voting for Harris-Biden and Democrats down the line

RBG was not a Judge. A Judge hears the facts, and decides the case based on the law and the facts. RBG heard the case, then made her decision based on her personal desire to legislate from the bench. Such a person is not a Judge. Such a person is an Advocate.
RBG had no use for the Constitution. She had no use for statute law. She wanted what she wanted, and so she ruled accordingly.
She is a shame and a disgrace.

In short, the Democrat position is that placing Amy on the Supreme Court during Trump's pandemic will result in denied health benefits, especially to minorities and the elderly most at risk.

If Ginsburg hadn't been so power hungry, she would have retired when lil barry was president so he could replace her with another socialist abortion lover.
I have to laugh at the deranged lefties who are heaping her with praise, when she really shafted them in her selfish lust for power.

Lets see, the Demon-Rats are going to make Cameltoe Harris the face of the fight against Judge Barrett's confirmation.
So when Judge Barrett is confirmed (I'm guessing with multiple Demon-Rat votes), then she will also be the face of a huge loser.
Demon-Rats have to be the stupidest and evilest people on Earth!!!!

What a role model for young girls. You can run for vice president/ president of America if you sleep with the right people. And she's lionizing someone that basically condoned sleeping around because you can just get a tax-payer funded abortion. Feminists should be so proud! Maybe she'll wear a pink pussy hat to the hearings.

Kommiela is ill prepared to answer questions on the trail which might involve actual policies so this is her one chance to shine. Kommie will ask questions, prepared by her staff, for which there are no good answers. It requires her to walk a fine line that I doubt she is capable of.

#15 should have seen enough times by now to know that recusal is something only expected of their opposition, never themselves. They believe themselves to be righteous enough to soar above even a manifest conflict of interest....

Kamala Sutra is not likeable, at least for those that have seen her mentor Willie Brown. I hope she is the face of the Communist attacks on the amazing ACB. As a barren woman raised in Montreal, Kamela is not a better role model for American girls than ACB. We already had one raised in Indonesia and do not need Hindu-French-Canadians now. Beijing Biden made a disastrous choice.
