Now that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has the votes to confirm a nomination from Donald Trump — which he is expected to announce Saturday — to fill Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s SCOTUS seat, bewildered Senate Democrats are left wondering what to do about it.Fear not, Schumer & Company. Former Hillary Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon has an “easy solution” for you: Boycott the hearing. In response to Democrats who are concerned that 87-year-old Dianne Feinstein, the ranking member of the Judiciary Committee, “can’t handle” the brutal nomination battle that is sure to come, Fallon on Wednesday afternoon encouraged the Democrats to boycott

Go ahead Democrats, continue your temper tantrum. Stay home, boycott the hearings, hold press conferences on unfair the hearings that you refuse to go to are. Maybe they can threaten to hold their breath too. Show everyone what petty little children Democrats really are.

Sounds good to me. After all, there is no requirement that hearings be held. Let the dems walk out, call the hearings over and go for the vote.

They only need 51 senators for a quorum. There are a couple of principled Dem senators who will show up. That's all they need.

It is my understanding they can go right to the floor and vote. So do it.

That sounds like a great idea.
Also, it is not Ginsburg's seat.

#3 - Manchin (D-W. VA) has already taken his party to task over their anti catholic rhetoric. I wouldn't be surprised in the least to see him vote for confirmation.
Meanwhile, if Amy Barrett is the nominee, the press will twist itself into a pretzel condemning her as a devout Catholic while Biden & PLousy espouse their own devout Catholicism.

Yes, the party of amnesia is at it again. Yea, boycott the hearings. Go ahead, who freakin cares. They forget. When the democrats put together Obamacare the republicans were banned from the meetings. There was zero republican input into Obamacare. These people are freakin pure communists. Remember what Obama once said, I have a pen and a phone, so it was screw you republicans. They forget that. Pure scum..

The Demon-Rats can't win this one, and are going to come out of it looking petty, misogynistic, and anti-Christian in the process.
Since they know they can't win, they need to claim that sexist old President Trump would have picked a white man if not for their pressure, so the Demon-Rats actually "won" by getting another woman appointed. Yes, it's pure BS, but so is everything that comes from the Demon-Rats these days!!!!!

I assume that peaceful acceptance of the inevitable appointment of a top-notch justice is not on their list. We used to be able to predict the actions of the GOP but they can't be trusted as of 2008 so they just might go along with the slander. Either way, Amy is in.

and don't bother to come back. You don't contribute anything to the American people anyway. If there was justice in the world, you would all be rounded up and hung as traitors.

Lead the Democraps to think the Judiciary Hearing will go on...then Mr. Graham says: "Given the extreme nastiness of the Democrap Party, this hearing is called off. The doors are locked so we have a quorum and the vote will proceed for confirmation!

Brilliant idea!! Given that there is no Constitutional requirement for hearings in the first place, this would solve several problems. First, it would shorten the time between nomination and final vote, allowing President Trump to concentrate on his reelection. Second, it would deny leftists a platform for insults and showboating. Third, it would spare the nominee from the inevitable character assassination from the left. Fourth, it would expose the leftists for the petty, sniveling toddlers that they are.
Sounds like a win-win-win-win to me!!

It probably is a good strategy for Dems. The likely alternative is that they again put on display for America and its voters their childish character while the nominee (Amy, please) eats their lunch.
Well, they could choose to behave like adults. But that seems unlikely.

Better idea: Skip the hearings all together and just have a floor vote on the nomination. Watch their heads explode.

If the Democrats choose to skip the hearings that would be great. Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham could hold a pres conference and claim that the Democrats don't feel the need for hearings for such a highly qualified candidate and that the vote on the candidate will be tomorrow at 9:00am. They need to announce this just before the 6pm evening news cycle so Dems won' have an opportunity to respond.

Hillary Clinton is the best of both worlds. Or, the worst, if that is your perspective. She is a Has Been and a Nobody at the same time. I wouldn't believe her opinion of what time it is--even verifying it by my own time piece. She is certainly of her ''father.''
