The Biden campaign, which has bombarded President Donald Trump with attacks about his respect for U.S. soldiers, will be campaigning this weekend with Jane Fonda, a celebrity best known for fraternizing with enemy troops during the Vietnam War. Democratic vice-presidential candidate Kamala Harris is set to join Fonda at a Saturday virtual event held by progressive advocacy group Supermajority. The event—titled "Supercharge: Women All In"—will "bring together thousands of women to laugh, sing, dance, and celebrate women's political power," according to the group's website.

I don't know who is running that campaign, but they sure are tone deaf! We all remember Jane Fonda in Viet Nam. Do they think that Democrat men didn't fight in that war? Do they think those thousands of men don't remember Jane? Talk about turning off voters! Maybe young women might thing Fonda is a Movie Star because they were not yet born during that War, but Democrat men and women alike, who were old enough to remember what Fonda did (or remember how upset their parents were at what Fonda did) will NOT appreciate the Biden Campaign bring in Fonda to support Joe Biden!

They might as well call the campaign the Golden Oldies Traitor Tour. Maybe the program will have a surprise guest ending; Horse Face (who served in Vietnam) introducing James Taylor to lead the pussy hat wearers in a moving rendition of "You've got a friend." As to Hanoi Jane's (spit) appearance, the hag is well past her Hollywood starlet days. I do derive some joy witnessing her vapid and pointless last years of life. She married three men, shacked up with another and her Wikipedia states she has three children, one adopted, but only named two. (I thought she was childless.) Her "family" is her and her fame, a dark and nasty fame that she clings to 50 years later. Its amazing the "new" revolution for a Marxist America is being represented by people in the their 80's. Kafka would have reeled at such incongruity.

Hanoi Jane toured a POW camp in North Vietnam. One American prisoner secretly passed to her a small piece of paper with the service numbers of POW's in the camp. The prisoners just wanted their families to know they were still alive. Hanoi Jane triumphantly handed the paper over to the prison commandant. The prisoners were harshly punished and their families were left in the agony of doubt and fear.

This tells you everything you need to know. Bubblehead Hanoi Jane??? She was on the Dick Cavett show many, many moons ago, talking about Vietnam. She didn't think we should be there. Dick asked her about the French helping us during the Revolutionary War and she suddenly drew a blank, challenging the fact that the French had actually done that. Dick said, "Well . . . let's assume that they did . . . " She then acknowledged that she didn't pay much attention in class when she was at Vassar. So she wasn't just a traitor, giving comfort to the enemy; she was an ignorant traitor.

My 1st thought on this story... What an Unbelievably, STUPID MOVE on the part of the DIMM Party! The fighting in RVN lasted from the middle 1960'a until middle 1970's...Millions of men and women served there in all sorts of circumstances. Many of us still bear the scars of that 'conflict'... Everything from physical scars and shrapnel, to psychological scars on our psyches, to children who continue to suffer medical problems due to their parents personal exposures to the chemicals of the Family of Agent Orange herbicides. I suspect that is somewhat rational, due to the lack of "HISTORY', and its narratives being taught in today's environment of public, baby-sitting, educational institutions; where rewards are given for mostly just showing up. Where "graduates' can be rewarded with Certificates of Attendance, and a push towards a socially, dependent society; one that leans on government largess, to survive, and continue to 'thankfully' pull that' lever' for democrats, one more time! GOD! How I still have a personal animosity and hate for Hanoi Jane F, and all that she stands for, and behind. Even after all these intervening years.... I hope she suffers horribly, in perdition.... Rant Off!

Seven people, all from different households, not only gathered for Thanksgiving but distributed to the media pictorial evidence of them flouting mask mandates and social distancing edicts. No governor yet claims jurisdiction over the International Space Station but the astronauts have a lot of explaining to do when they return to earth. It’s not as though they lacked for space. Governors ordering around people 250 miles above their states seems far-fetched. But so, too, did the notion of governors usurping the role of legislatures. Eight months after the initial coronavirus lockdowns, citizens docilely accept the idea of a single person dictating the laws that govern millions of people.

Will Joe Biden and his foreign-policy team accept the extraordinary gift Team Trump is leaving for them under the Christmas tree — or is their hatred for the president so all-consuming that they will toss it in the garbage? Normalization has proceeded so quickly, Dubai already has a kosher restaurant, and its supermarkets are stocking Israeli agricultural products festooned with Stars of David — a science-fictional sight only a year ago.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.

Will Judge Emmett Sullivan accept President Trump’s pardon of General Michael Flynn? No one has suggested that possibility, other than The New York Sun. The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.

Pelosi’s HR1 bill a blatant power grab for Democrats 30 replies

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

“There must have been a moment, at the beginning, when we could have said –-no. But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
