Speaking to Lily Eskelen Garcia, the president of the National Education Association, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said he had the same feeling that the NEA has about charter schools, adding that no “private charter school will receive a penny of federal money. None.”Garcia asked Biden, “So I have one more question.”Biden answered, “Sure.”
Garcia continued, “There are lots of people who think there are other ways to solve all of these problems and NEA members have pushed back against what we think are very misguided school reforms, like charter schools. Regularly now we’ve seen families and communities who will join us in fighting to save that neighborhood public school.

If and when the first debate is held, count on Chris Wallace asking Biden no questions on charter schools, abortion, illegal immigration and health care, statehood for DC and Puerto Rico, reparations, BLM, Antifa, etc. etc. etc. Just like his Sunday programs, Wallace will focus ALL questions on Trump's actions and positions.

Of course he will. He is indebted to the Teacher's Unions and they are being made to look bad by comparison. I fully expect if democrats get their hands on both Houses in future, we will see home schooling outlawed like Germany did.

No doubt Biden, in his lucid state, believes what he says. It’s just that he’s not speaking for himself now, his dementia being so far advanced.

So, Creepy Joe wants to defund the charter school that my 18-year-old son just graduated from -- with his high school diploma and 62 college credits/Associates Degree? He just started the mechanical engineering program at our local university and will graduate in 2 years debt-free. Is that what you have in mind, Joe?

NEA: ''Other ways to solve the problems''
That means more money for government schools and the NEA!

Of course he will. That’s what his former boss did in DC within days of being sworn in. DC has some of the worst schools in the country and black parents depended on those charter schools for their kids. Smidgen took them away and then enrolled his daughters at $40,000 per year Sidwell Friends. Blacks should have abandoned him for that alone.

Of course he will. The Rats want to keep minorities enslaved in the indoctrination camps run by the NEA. Keep them ignorant, illiterate, and under control, just like the plantation owners did pre-Civil War.

one of Biden's brothers is profiting handsomely with Charter schools. he buys up real estate - probably old school buildings - and rents them to charter schools.

Where I live, Charter schools are considered public schools. They have boards, take the same standardized tests and get rated right along the local public schools. They take nothing away from the public schools as the charter students get the same funding as the public schools. The only difference is that the charters must perform using only the state per-pupil funding. Charters cannot pass a millage for new buildings/facilities and equipment like local public schools. The Charters also have the same "transparency" and accountability standards. Often the only difference is in charter schools is there is no teachers union. That enables the charters to operate within the state per-pupil funding that they are allowed to operate under. Guess the teachers unions don't like that fact and feel that charters must be destroyed. Perhaps Biden should do some research on charter schools rather that follow the public school teacher union indoctrination talking points .
