Biden: A Cheapskate Who Prefers to

If Joe Biden wins the presidency and Democrats take control of the Senate, taxes will rise. Likely a lot. His official plan envisions a $4 trillion hike over the coming decade. But a big victory would empower the Left, which would demand bigger and broader hikes. After all, there will be lots of benefits to increase, programs to create, and, most important, interest groups to pay off. The only “cut” likely would be restoring the deduction for state and local levies, a windfall for the wealthy that liberals love. Presumably because it acts as a subsidy for big-spending state and local governments. They can keep raising rates, knowing that the federal

Yes, the lefties have been screaming about the limitation of the SALT deduction from the outset. They say $10,000 limit hurts. But that's the 1% screaming on the two coasts. Screw them.

I'd love to see a study like this, done on the rest of our political class, as well as those oh so compassionate movie stars and the disadvantaged sideline kneelers!

I love the immense donations to "family foundations," where family members are paid a salary or directorship. $70,000 over 20 years of other donations? That cheap squid! I can safely say I doubled that with a far smaller income

Treasury flagged foreign money flowing

A Treasury Department agency that polices financial threats such as money laundering flagged several foreign transactions to Hunter Biden-connected businesses as "suspicious" during the end of the Obama administration and the beginning of the Trump administration. The concerns from the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) were highlighted in Suspicious Activity Reports turned over to Senate committees over the last year in conjunction with investigations into the Russia and Ukraine scandals, according to several officials familiar with the evidence.

MAGA country’s most famous resident wants his C-list career back. And some of the most despicable cretins on the left have stepped up to help him. Perhaps you didn’t catch the news last week; that alone is telling. Muslim activist Linda Sarsour co-signed, along with other left-wing agitators, an open letter accusing the Chicago Police Department of fabricating charges against Empire actor Jussie Smollett after Smollett staged a hate crime against himself in 2019. The letter was also signed by longtime Communist party member Angela Davis and actor Danny Glover (who apparently isn’t ‘too old for this shit’.)
Joe Biden and the Democrats’ lies about

The targeted attack on two LA cops last weekend is the inevitable result of the despicable lie Joe Biden and his party have been pushing all summer for political advantage — that police are “systemically” racist murderers of black people. That lie has driven violent anti-cop BLM-Antifa riots in Democratic cities from New York to Seattle. Police are demoralized, and resigning in droves, leaving the poorest, most crime-ridden communities less safe. Violent criminals are emboldened. Crime rates are surging.

I’m sure this was just an honest mistake. But even if so, it’s a darned curious one. It turns out that only yesterday, Michigan was making military and overseas absentee ballots available for download and printing in advance of the general election. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were correctly listed as the Democratic candidates for President and Vice President on the Democratic line. Donald Trump was also prominently featured as the GOP candidate for President. But in the space allocated for Mike Pence as the veep, at least for a few hours, the system was generating ballots without his name.
Journalists Should Stop Cleaning Up After Biden 17 replies

All political candidates make mistakes. They have to retract hasty, ill-considered statements. They find that the position they took to win their primaries is inconvenient afterward, and try to explain it away. For a lucky few candidates, the embarrassment is mitigated by the assistance of journalists who accept the explanations or, even better, don’t ask for them in the first place. Joe Biden, the Democratic nominee for president, is in that enviable position. Whenever he makes a political mess, he is blessed with people, many of them not in his employ, who will clean it up for him.

One of the deputies wounded in a brazen ambush in Compton, Calif., over the weekend was released from the hospital Wednesday, Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said. “Great news, one of those deputies was released from the hospital today,” Villanueva tweeted Wednesday night. “He has a long road ahead for recovery. But he's not alone. We, as a community, are in this together.” Villanueva did not identify the deputy, who was one of two shot in the head as they sat in a marked car near a transit station Saturday.

The Academy of Country Music Awards left fans stunned when, for the first time in its history, the evening ended in a tie between Carrie Underwood and Thomas Rhett for entertainer of the year. While the award is a hallowed one among country musicians and fans alike, some fans weren't terribly pleased to see it split between the two crooners. "Of course they had to make the ACM Awards Entertainer a Tie and make sure a man still won, couldn’t let a well deserving, hard working woman have it this year on her own," said one viewer on Twitter. "Over this s--t."
History will thank Trump (and Obama)

Win or may lose in November, there is one thing for which people will forever praise President Trump: Just when it counted, at the moment of crisis with all on the line, he threw his body into the line of incoming fire — and prevented Hillary Clinton from becoming president. Deserving of thanks also is President Barack Obama, who in the 2008 primary defeated Clinton and kept her out of office through his two terms until Trump could step up to the job. The importance of what these people did becomes more impressive when one recalls that the plot to make Clinton president,

There’s going to be a lot of talk about the U.N. over the next couple of weeks. The 75th session of the U.N. General Assembly will kick off with speeches by President Trump and other world leaders next week. And the U.N. Human Rights Council is currently meeting in Geneva, as China works to bring international human-rights mechanisms under its control, and as it and other authoritarian powers seek election to the body (if history is any guide, they’ll be successful). The usual suspects are already spinning up the narrative that the United States stands alone at the U.N. Last week, the United States and Israel

On September 4, 2020, Russell Vought, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, sent a brief memo to the heads of the executive departments and agencies of the federal government. Its purpose was straightforward: to end the practice by any federal government agency of using training materials that promote “critical race theory” or “white privilege” or that “teaches or suggests either (1) that the United States is either an inherently evil or racist country or (2) that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil.”

At present, our country is now confronted with enemies here and abroad, as well as a once in a century pandemic,” the letter reads. The group, which includes three retired Air Force generals and five Navy admirals, contends that Trump “has been tested as few other presidents have and is the proven leader to confront these dangers.” "With the Democratic Party welcoming to socialists

A Fox News panel scolded and cut away from former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich after he linked liberal billionaire George Soros to the violent riots that have caused damage across the country over the last few months. “The No. 1 problem in almost all the cities is George Soros-elected, left-wing, anti-police, pro-criminal district attorneys who refuse to keep people locked up,” Gingrich said to a panel on Fox News’s Outnumbered on Wednesday. “Both Harris and Biden have talked very proudly about what they call progressive district attorneys. Progressive district attorneys are anti-police, pro-criminal, and overwhelmingly elected with George Soros’s money.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi defended how she has handled her relationship with President Trump — after it was pointed out that the two leaders haven’t spoken in almost a year amid mounting crises. Speaking to MSNBC’s Craig Melvin on Monday, Pelosi (D-Calif.) faced pushback after repeatedly saying “Forget him” while answering a question about countering the commander-in-chief’s rhetoric and narrative. Melvin noted to the nation’s highest elected Democrat that, “with all due respect, you just said, ‘Forget him.'” “Yeah, forget him,” she responded. The MSNBC host then asked if she and the president had “just stopped talking? Is that where we are?” “You haven’t talked to him about the wildfires,

On Tuesday, during an episode of The Five, Juan Williams claimed that the recent peace deals between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain that Trump negotiated a “distraction” and that rather than achieving peace they are “accelerating” the “chance of war” in the Middle East. Williams made his argument while he and his co-panelists were discussing Nancy Pelosi’s recent remarks that the peace deals were a “distraction.”

Approximately 150 pregnant Black and Pacific Islander women in San Francisco will receive a $1,000 monthly supplement during their pregnancies and for the first six months of their babies' lives, the city's mayor announced. Mayor London Breed's (D) office said on Monday that the Abundant Birth Project is the first of its kind in the country. The project's goal is to eventually provide a supplement for as long as two years post-pregnancy. “Providing guaranteed income support to mothers during pregnancy is an innovative and equitable approach that will ease some of the financial stress that all too often keeps women from being able to put their health first,” Breed said.

Things got extremely awkward on Fox News panel show Outnumbered on Wednesday after former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich tied billionaire financier George Soros—often the focus of anti-Semitic tropes—to violence in cities, prompting the show’s co-hosts to directly confront him on why he was invoking the liberal philanthropist. Towards the end of a discussion on the property damage that’s been caused by violent protests over police brutality, Gingrich—who is now a Fox News contributor—insisted that the real issue was with local elected leaders.

Pennsylvania’s highest court gave the Democratic Party a series of victories Thursday, including one allowing repairs to glitches and gray areas in the battleground state’s fledgling mail-in voting law and another that kicked the Green Party’s presidential candidate off the November ballot. The state Supreme Court, which has a 5-2 Democratic majority, granted the Democratic Party’s request to order a three-day extension of Pennsylvania’s Election Day deadline to count mailed-in ballots. And it ruled that the Green Party’s candidate for president did not strictly follow procedures for getting on the ballot in November and cannot appear on it.

By now, it’s the worst kept secret in the world that Joe Biden is having cognitive difficulties. (snip) Rush Limbaugh, however, has noticed another piece in the puzzle, and this one yields to empirical evidence rather than first-hand knowledge. This is the fact that, other than the long-ago Democrat debates and his acceptance speech (which may have been live, rather than prerecorded), Biden is never seen at night. (snip) Biden may be suffering from sundowning, something strongly associated with dementia in the elderly, especially with Alzheimer’s. Sundowning is so named because it consistently appears as the sun is setting.
