The Jets and Bills opted out of taking a stand–or a knee–during the national anthem, choosing to stay inside. But the NFL’s reigning MVP had no such qualms. From Colin Kaepernick on, the NFL has been among the leagues most resistant to social media messaging. That’s why it was so noteworthy to see the MVP–Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson–taking a knee during the national anthem of Sunday’s season opener against Cleveland.(Snip) And while some Baltimore teammates knelt while others sat on the bench during the anthem, Ravens ownership backed their star player.
“We respect and support our players’ right to protest peacefully.

And I will exercise my right not to support the NFL or any football, basketball, baseball or any other team that refuses to stand for the National Anthem or that plays any alternative anthem.

The NFL is composed of a bunch of losers. Entertainers who no longer entertain. I don’t want them fouling my TV screen.

If they can't acknowledge the country and people that made them rich, we don't need to watch them either.

(I)Stopped watching all pro-sports. They are all for one and one for all connected under one thread, ....overpaid morally challenged JOCKs. They will not compromise their wealth, fame, luxury, and power even if they have to betray their country. They can never rationalize their behavior because they are stuck on STUPID.

I went for a ride today with some of my brothers and sisters. Enjoyed the afternoon on our motorcycles, without football, or any pro sports...

Those teams can't play football, so they need something else to occupy their time.

Actual employers are looking for people to do important jobs, like nailing on shingles, cutting grass (landscaping). I earned my living mowing cemeteries before and during high school, with a push mower. Not bragging, but I won the PCP competition in Basic Training. Good exercise! Keep those baby professional sports people occupied and employed.

This was not a protest against our country, the military or the flag. Our players remain dedicated to uplifting their communities and making America better. They have proven this through substantive action…and we support their efforts. Pure BULLSH**. Uplifting their communities, making America better. WHERE, HOW. They're nothing but thugs. Murders, domestic violence, armed robberies and what else do they get away with. All a bunch of morons led by the biggest hypocrite of all, Roger Goodell. No one should be watching....

Stay inside forever! And when you’ve destroyed the NFL completely and have burned through your millions on drugs, booze, tats, jewelry and fancy cars, don’t come to us looking for a handout.

Why are people surprised by the NFL, September 10th the eve of the anniversary 9/11 the opening game was Thursday night Texans and the Chiefs. These jerks , Texans, stayed in the locker during the Star-Spangled Banner, kneeling, locked arms in solidarity for BLM. Not one, one reference to the people the lost their life on that day, not one. DESPICABLE!

Since I don't watch pro sports, I don't see the 'woke' commercials, so advertisers aren't getting their monies worth with me. When advertisers realize that their advertising dollars are being wasted, the money tree might dry up and these thugs, with their dozen children and 6 to 8 baby mamas demanding child support are going to be in a world of hurt. It will be awesome!

Oppressed multimillionaires playing a children's game sit laughing in the locker rooms while flipping the bird at the fools in the stands who fund their luxury lifestyles. Are NFL fans so thoroughly lacking in patriotism and personal integrity that they'll continue pouring money into these organizations? You can't make this up.
