President Donald Trump was quick to deny a recent report from The Atlantic, which alleged that he had said a number of disrespectful things about fallen American service members — and in the days that followed, a number of others have gone on record to support him.
Trump claimed that the story had been invented to help The Atlantic “gain some relevance.” (Snip for tweet)First Lady Melania Trump made a rare public statement as well, saying that the story was “not true” and adding, “It has become a very dangerous time when anonymous sources are believed above all else, & no one knows their motivation.

This story is total trash, and it's still 60 days from the election. My concern is if they are willing to make up these kind of lies now, how much worse are the October surprise lies going to be? Kiddie porn? Sex with Ivanka? Murder?

Liberals have a tendency to believe as fact, something that they believed could have happened.
Stated another way, it should have happened the way I remember it.
They never want to be bothered with the truth or pesky facts, when their narrative is so much more helpful to the cause.

I don’t want to see President Trump always put on the defensive responding to lies. I think his best response is a firm but brief “Never happened” and then go on offense. Heaven knows Biden has a long history of racism and corruption. Perhaps it’s time somebody “took him out behind the school and beat the cr*p out of him”. President a Trump is just the guy to do it.

How precious. The same crew that called us "Baby Killers" (that being a "myth" was early fake news), "Bullet Bait", "LBJ's Dupes", etc., complain that President Trump disrespected Warriors, sent to their graves by "Imperialist American Capitalists". Look up "Viet Nam Protests" and see some of the vile signs. Even if we heard him on tape, saying we "were suckers", a lot of us would have to agree.

Like I always tell the Leftists (NOT "liberals "-- they are not nor ever have been liberal)..."You have been conditioned and manipulated by the media to expect the worst and therefore you see the worst, even if it has no basis in reality."

Let’s see...who was it in the White House who publicly stated that they loathed the military? Oh, right. That would be the draft dodger and his harpy spouse.
And the media uttered not a peep.

This is to try to get Trump off stride.
It's like you say someone had sex with a goat so he has do defend it.
Then they say I meant a horse.

This story has been completely discredited and The Atlantic looking really bad for it. If they need to fabricate accusations they should try something at least minimally believable. This isn’t. The reason the Swift Boat story caught during John Kerry’s candidacy is because it is easy to picture Kerry as a backstabbing cowardly jackass.

They can follow this story up with the story that Joe Biden is really a Rhodes Scholar and a member of the Prometheus Society. Both have the same level of credibility

While it is not in President Trump’s character or history to denigrate dead soldiers or the US military, it is in Trump’s character and history to put down the DC “UniParty” politicians, the military bureaucrats, and the globalist investor classes who have sent American troops to die and be seriously wounded in endless Middle East and other wars that really have little to do with US national security.
It is a known fact that anytime a war is started that it is becomes a “cash cow” for some “UniParty” politicians and their families who get an “insider” shot at all sorts of US government foreign aid and military contracts, for high ranking military bureaucrats (Generals) who consider those wars to be career rank enhancing, and the globalist investor class that pulls in all sorts of profits from the massive government spending that always takes place, with some of the profits passed back to “UniParty” politicians .
That’s a prime reason why those special interests want to get rid of Trump and his “Make America Great” and “Put Americans First” political agendas, along with Trump promising in the face of great special interest resistance to bring those endless Middle East Wars to a close, a Presidential policy that is seriously interfering with those special interest’s “cash cows”.
When it comes to Joseph Biden who has been a DC “UniParty” liberal Democrat lawyer-politician for over 47 years, remember that before the Iraq War started that Biden voted in favor of invading Iraq, then when things got rough on the Iraq battlefields with American troops being killed and wounded, that Biden and a lot of other liberal Democrats changed their votes and seemingly came out against that War, but because of special interest pressure the Democrats never did stop any of those wars during the Obama-Biden era. That is not unusual as the Democrats did essentially the same thing by abandoned the troops on the battlefield during the Vietnam War.

President Trump has stated his disdain for military and political "leaders" who have led us into wars without a clear and winnable purpose, wars that have dragged on and on, leaving a trail of dead and grievously injured soldiers.
But as my Mother would say, "Actions speak louder than words." There are several actions the President has taken to benefit our military and great veterans, almost as soon as he was sworn into office he began working on overhauling VA medical care so that veterans could get the best and timeliest care possible.
He also immediately began rebuilding the military so our soldiers have the best equipment, for their success and safety. Without enough funding for the military, the usual equipment maintenance is not done, which leads to unreliable machinery and even failure, and therefore increasing the danger for our troops.
And then there's taking the restraints off of the military to defeat ISIS. Most of the public seems to have wiped from their memories the beadings and blood-soaked sands, the rapes and tortures and murders of men women and children. The word was given to take out Baghdadi
And then there was Soleimani, the evil man who ensured the production of the most horrendous IEDs which have horribly killed and injured our bravest. President Trump gave the order to kill this ruthless murderer as he working at more nefarious and evil plans, doing so outside of his homeland, Iran, while in Iraq, where so many of our great heroes gave their lives and limbs.
Just these above actions listed above, along with the ongoing efforts to bring our troops home, demonstrate that although President Trump lacks a glib tongue, a suave demagogic aptitude, (I wish he were more tactful!), his love for Country and for the People has always been clear. Trump is who he is. He is a patriot.

When a Trump hater like John Bolton says the Atlantic Story is a lie, then you know beyond all doubt that it is a lie. This is gutter slander politics the lowest that I have ever seen. The people pretending it has credence are deplorable beyond measure.

Bolton wrote about the cemetery visit in his book, before the Atlantic article was published. That makes it all the more credible. I think he said, if Trump had dissed the military, he would have had a whole chapter about it.

What was particularly disgusting was that Fox News ran a chyron about the Atlantic story for a good part of the evening, devoting ten times as much space to the ANONYMOUSLY sourced allegations than to the White House rebuttal. It was just like watching CNN. If Fox can't keep its NeverTrumpers under control, who needs to watch them?

Biden's supporters are in a frenzy of desperation and we all know they will do and say anything (any thing) to get rid of Trump. They are a dangerous bunch, to put it kindly.
