Nobody Is Switching from Trump to Biden

The Grandpa Badfinger Turgid Poll Lead Fact Check Test is this: Do you know anyone who has gone from supporting Donald Trump in 2016 to supporting that basement-dwelling commie puppet weirdo in 2020? I know zero people. I don’t mean “practically zero” or “a few.” I mean zero. Nil. None. That blank is emptier than the space between Gropey J’s ears. Now is this scientific? Am I denying science again? You know, the science that has Trump ahead in the polls that tended to be more on-target in 2016 and a dozen points back in the mainstream media outlets’ polls that invariably support the mainstream media outlet’s political agendas? That science?

It’s scary out there right now with the violence that’s going on but I think it’s going to be much worse after the election. Anyone with half a brain knows Biden is just a pawn. When the President wins , the riots will get worse. They are forcing him to put the military on the streets so they can call him a Dictator. Be ready

For now let's stipulate that Trump's confrontational manner had the Karens of the world diffident at best about supporting him. They are the people who put 'Mom's Taxi' stickers on their minivans and the naive 'Be Kind' without a hint of irony or self-awareness. They think 60 Minutes is an hour of unvarnished truth and fact. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is famous for its accuracy and common sense. First on the ladder is physical safety. Caveman/cavewoman stuff with mountain lions and such roaming around outside especially at night. Well, guess what, Antifa/BLM? Rioting, looting, random assaults, shootings, beatings, attacking vehicles, blocking roads, and shouting through bullhorns is the antithesis of safety. Not only are you keeping the Karens at home with or without the virus, you are ensuring they won't enter your city or neighborhood again to shop, eat, go to a salon, etc. You are also ensuring that they certainly won't vote for any politician at any level who supports or tolerates the mayhem. Your campaign of 'Trump is a bad guy and we hate him' has been doomed to fail from the word go because it consists purely of (negative) emotion and one falsehood after another. The Karens might have believed all the Russia stuff for a time. Now you're pushing a patently ridiculous 'Trump hates Troops' fiction and desperately returning to the dry well known as John McCain Is A Universally Admired Saint. Many Karens have dealt with aging parents slipping sadly into mental decline. They instantly recognize the slow blinking, stiff/uncoordinated movements, shuffling feet, stammering, and frequent confusion exhibited by Joe Biden. The Karens love their Dads but don't trust them behind the wheel of a car especially with the grandkids in the back seat and they don't trust Joe Biden to deal with terrorism, economics, the virus, or anything else.

Someone (me) should point out that this latest canard floated by the leftist rag "The Atlantic" is just another attempt at distraction. Their is an immediate need on the Democrat side to get "Princess Nancy" off the front page, and a permanent need to discuss anything but policy - the important differences between the 2 parties: Street violence, support for law enforcement, open borders, subsidizing corrupt state and local governments, creeping socialism, future judicial appointments, various COVID-19 issues including reopening the economy, etc, etc. As a 20 year military veteran who maintains close contact with veterans and military issues in general, I can tell you that the MSM notion that the "military is divided on Trump" is pure unmitigated BS. The military is visrtually united in its support of President Trump and in its utter contempt for the current Democrat leadership.

While he's probably correct, I'm reminded of '72 and Pauline Kael's (of the NY Slimes) observation that Nixon's landslide was impossible to believe, because she "didn't know anyone who voted for him". Nixon beat McGovern by taking 49 States--only the People's Republic of Taxachussetts and DC didn't go along.

IN the 2026 Trump base there were many Hillary haters. There was hope on the Left that a 'likeable guy' will bring these back. But no such thing appears to have occurred. Whatever reasons Creepy Joe hasn't given the Hillary haters to stick with their choice ,Horizontal Harris has supplied in buckets.

Am trying to get an absentee ballot. Live in Georgia where elections used to be smooth but then some dims complained and now we spent $ 100 million on voting machines that don't work. Plus I don't want to stand in line for hours just to vote. You fill out a form for an absentee ballot and you never get a response.

Fill them out at home, carry them to our polling place, zip past the lines and deposit them in a special box. Easy peasy. Re absentee ballot, if you must have one, persist.

Seven people, all from different households, not only gathered for Thanksgiving but distributed to the media pictorial evidence of them flouting mask mandates and social distancing edicts. No governor yet claims jurisdiction over the International Space Station but the astronauts have a lot of explaining to do when they return to earth. It’s not as though they lacked for space. Governors ordering around people 250 miles above their states seems far-fetched. But so, too, did the notion of governors usurping the role of legislatures. Eight months after the initial coronavirus lockdowns, citizens docilely accept the idea of a single person dictating the laws that govern millions of people.

Will Joe Biden and his foreign-policy team accept the extraordinary gift Team Trump is leaving for them under the Christmas tree — or is their hatred for the president so all-consuming that they will toss it in the garbage? I’m talking about the Abraham Accords, peace deals between Israel and various Arab states — the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan — that have sought the Jewish state’s destruction since its founding in 1948. Normalization has proceeded so quickly, Dubai already has a kosher restaurant, and its supermarkets are stocking Israeli agricultural products festooned with Stars of David — a science-fictional sight only a year ago.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.

Will Judge Emmett Sullivan accept President Trump’s pardon of General Michael Flynn? No one has suggested that possibility, other than The New York Sun. The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.

The race gap between the two has come down to the point where Tenney is leading by 106 votes and the only ballots left to possibly be considered are the ones that were “set aside” during the initial count due to irregularities.

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
