CLAIM: Joe Biden said (again) that President Donald Trump called neo-Nazis in Charlottesville “very fine people.”Verdict: FALSE. Trump said the neo-Nazis should be “condemned totally.” Biden knows he is lying about this.Former Vice President Joe Biden repeated the “very fine people” hoax in accepting the Democratic Party nomination in a speech to the Democratic National Convention (DNC), repeating his lines from last week, almost word for word. Remember seeing those neo-Nazis and white supremacists, coming out of fields spewing the same antisemitic bile heard across Europe in the ’30s. Remember the violent clash that ensued between those spreading hate and those with the courage to

Hey, Joe. What about the violent Antifa terrorists coming out all over the big cities and burning and trashing businesses and beating up and sometimes killing people who try to stop them! That's happening right now and neither you nor any Democrat has condemned them at all. In fact, you support their "right" to do it. Your silence on those thugs and what they are doing is telling us more about you than any made up story your crooked children can tell us.

There were "very fine people" on both sides but that doesn't fit the establishment agenda of cultural cleansing.

Since when are we too timid to call a lie a lie and have to soften it by calling it a "hoax?" Russian collusion is a fraud not a hoax. Global warming a fraud, a scam not a hoax.

There were people who didn't want statues pulled down (ie, vandalized) but were not neo-Nazis. It is wrong to be against illegal actions?

A man was killed and another was critically wounded in a shooting Saturday in South Chicago. The men were at a gathering at 2:04 a.m. on a porch in the 8500 block of South Burley Avenue when a male got out of a vehicle and shot at them, according to Chicago police. The House of Representatives Saturday passed a $25 billion funding infusion to the United States Postal Service in a bill that also would reverse new cost-cutting measures and ban any efforts to slow down the mail until at least next year. The vote was 257-150 with 26 Republicans joining the Democrats. Democrats called the rare "emergency" session in the middle of the summer recess because they contend President Trump and new Postmaster General Louis DeJoy are trying to sabotage the 2020 election by delaying service that could compromise mail-in ballots during the coronavirus pandemic. "We are experiencing a global pandemic and now our U.S. Postal Service is under attack,"

Joe Biden is being accused of plagiarizing the words of a left-wing Canadian politician in his convention speech. In his highly anticipated convention speech on Thursday, the Democratic nominee said, “Love is more powerful than hate. Hope is more powerful than fear. And light is more powerful than dark.” Canadians were quick to point out that those words were extremely similar to the dying message of Jack Layton, the leader of Canada’s New Democratic Party, who in 2011 wrote, “My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair." CBC correspondent Alexander Panetta pointed out the similarities on Twitter.

It was done on purpose,” Trump wrote. The president was referring to stories that the moderator leading the Muslim Delegates Assembly meeting during day two of the DNC skipped “under God” as he began a virtual conference by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. A torn-up street sign was also used to smash cars, with tires slashed and windows broken, police said. The modern left-wing tactic of protesting at the private homes of their targets in an effort to intimidate them into doing what they want won’t work with Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot. The police say they’ve banned protests from the mayor’s block and will arrest anyone who doesn’t leave. Lightfoot just isn’t radical enough for Black Lives Matter. She won’t defund the police (she didn’t just escape from a mental institution, after all) and refuses to condemn the officers for trying to keep order. I wonder if the fact that Lightfoot enjoys police protection 24-7 has anything to do with her reluctance to criticize the cops too harshly.

The water filter inside a household refrigerator is a simple device: a plastic tube packed with activated carbon. Nonetheless, replacement filters for certain GE refrigerators cost a stiff $55. And they need to be replaced every six months. So it’s no surprise that many GE fridge owners seek cheaper generic filters. These fit just fine. But when the owner presses the button to dispense water or ice, nothing comes out. The culprit is a bit of engineering almost as in-genious as it is infuriating. It seems that official GE replacement filters include a small RFID chip whose only purpose is to tell the refrigerator
