House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on Thursday sent an urgent letter to Postmaster General Louis DeJoy demanding he reverse the recent operational changes to the USPS that “threaten the timely delivery of mail” ahead of the 2020 election. The Democrat-media complex exploded last week and accused President Trump of “destroying” the US Postal Service after the President’s newly appointed postmaster general made structural changes.New changes made by Louis DeJoy have reportedly ‘slowed down’ the mail deliveries,

The left is depending on the fraudulent mail-in vote to oust Trump and proves it with their push to see that it happens. This is their only hope for victory and they MUST be stopped in their tracks or this nation as we know it is finished.

The Postmaster General is an appointee by President Trump. The new guy in town was a business person not a U.S. Postal worker that moved up the ranks. Things are going to be different. He has eliminated all overtime and ban the use of sorting machines. See two can plan this game, that is why Pelosi and Schumer are sweating bullets.

Sounds like they are worried about a disruption their vote by mail fraud scheme, what Dejoy should do next is offer a reward to postal workers who find irregularities in mail in ballots, get them to really start paying attention, that will really set the Left off.

Do Nasty or Schmuck ever just ask for something? It's always Schmuck demands, Nasty demands or Dems demand! Maybe if they learned to ask nicely, things would go better for them.

If we are so concerned about Coronavirus , maybe all mail should be quarantined for 2 weeks before it is allowed to be delivered and once delivered be quarantined another 2 weeks.

You have to hand it to the Democrats, they have thought of everything! Mail in Ballots, the end of showing any proof of citizenship before voting. Check. Then the virus, so no Rallies! Check. The virus again, so no children going to schools. Check. The virus, keeps business from opening, therefor the economy lags. Check. The virus, keeps the voters full of fear! Check. The virus, so no churches open! Check!
Early voting before a Debate. Check. Virus keeps Biden in his Basement so voters can't see he is a Doddering Old Fool. CHECK! The list goes on and on! Trump's people have their work cut out for them to slap down each and every item on this list!

I placed a rush order on line last Sunday. The vendor delivered the package to the post office on Monday Aug 3. As of this morning the USPS tracking indicates the package was accepted on Aug 4. No record of shipment.
Yeah, I trust them with my ballot - not.

Do you realize what this really means? The Demo-rat's insider polling data is telling them that Trump is going to win in a landslide. They realize that Trump supporters will go to the voting booths this November in droves and even the virus won't keep them away. We're going to the voting places if we have to shoot our way in.
They are looking at a blood bath where they lose both houses of Congress and the White House. And stealing the election from the ballot box is too tough. Easy to do if the difference is only a few thousand but Trump's numbers over Quid Pro Quo Sleepy Joe must be huge.
Their only hope is to steal the election through massive voter fraud by "mail" --- or muddy the waters so badly they can turn around and say Trump is the crook.

"New changes made by Louis DeJoy have reportedly ‘slowed down’ the mail deliveries,"
Reported by whom?
It doesn't matter, their delivery still sucks! Last year, they lost an insurance check sent by Certified Mail. This week, they took five days to deliver a package from Denton, TX to San Antonio, a five hour drive.

FTA: ''...now threaten the timely delivery of mail—including medicines for seniors, paychecks for workers, and ABSENTEE BALLOTS for voters...''
Trying to sneak a dog t*rd into the buffet ruins the whole thing. The democrats are going to lose, bigly, in November and they are desperate to salvage whatever they can. They have brought their sad predicament upon themselves and there is far too much for them to walk back now.
Believing that Hillary would win in 2016, and that they would be able to hide their crimes, was the start of their undoing. Well, maybe it started with Obama. He was elected as a black man, even though he was just as much white, and he did nothing for the poor black community. In fact, he caused them more harm, while he played golf and lived the high life. What a wasted opportunity! He could have provided for so much pride among blacks, but he didn't.

I'm amazed how primitive our voting procedures are in this country. This is junk mail that should be trashed.
When we go to the grocery store everything we buy has a bar code. Why can't our ballots have a bar code. Every ballot should be traceable. It's not rocket science.

#19, if every ballot were traceable with a bar code, then anyone's vote could be traced, including for whom they voted. Ballots are still supposed to be private/secret. I agree that the dems use these protections to their own advantage through voting fraud.

when will these people be held accountable for their actions and made to look like the traitors they really are? I am sick and tired of seeing this complete and blatant undermining of our government, all in the name of saving some undeserving political hack who can't tie President Donald J. Trump's shoe laces. the change can't come soon enough. four more years of our duly elected president's second term will make a difference in our whole political scene. vote to increase the number of Republicans in the House and Senate. Give our President the strength in numbers he deserves to Make America Great Again and Again and Again!!!

It looks like Schumer's forehead has stretched another inch and Pelosi's mouth is on sideways. Does that Botox stuff dry out and change shape or what?
No details of what the PG changed in the operation so they were probably good moves made to increase efficiency. There has been a risk in the timely delivery of mail ever since the postal workers union was created or about fifty years ago, whichever came first. They aren't going to see improvement by using union workers. Those suckers could slow down a turtle. The example provided by #15 could have been eliminated by using the Pony Express.
I have a feeling that the election might begin in November but will not be resolved until at least January and will end up in the Supreme Court like GWB's did.

I don't care who runs the US Postal Service! It is not fixable! If you work there you are either one of them or one of us. Them being Mgmt and us being Union Labor! I spent 12 Months as a Program Manager in the IT shop as a consultant and I have NEVER seen anything like it. Total and utter futility!!! It needs to be privatized. Did you know that each employee of the Postal Service has their entire future pension fully funded with cash...while the org. loses billions every year!!! Makes sense, no?

Did they put a stamp on it and mail it to the Postmaster? If so he should get it by November. If not it shows how little faith they have in the USPS thereby nullifying their argument.

Fact. Wife went to doctor's appointment yesterday. Appointment had been rescheduled without notice. 10 mile drive there and 10 miles back. Today 8/7 she receives mail from doctor with the reschedule notice. Letter was postmarked 7/7.
I am currently waiting on a "rush" package the vendor delivered to USPS on Monday. As of an hour ago the USPS tracking shows it has not left the Post Office.

Isn't it amazing how President Trump was able to use their desire for mail-in votes to highlight to people who might not otherwise be inclined to use that option, and to also illustrate how horrible mail-in voting has been in recent elections where they weren't prepared for it.
If they want to do mail-in on regular basis, then let's put it in place for 2024, so everyone can prepare properly.
And, remember the recent $1200 stimulus checks were sent to 1,100,000 seniors who had died, but the Social Security systems weren't updated yet, as they didn't have time to prepare properly.

Good luck with that. I went to the counter and mailed a birthday gift a month ago. They never got it and it wasn't returned. The local postal clerk says they are short staffed and packages have been in the back for several days. The grass doesn't even get cut. Woe is me. The smart ones went out on leave for 'injuries' then took retirement. A lot left when they saw the writing on the wall.
