Lachlan Murdoch appears to have fired back at younger brother James in a memo to Fox staff Thursday in which he praised the network's news coverage. James, 47, quit the board of News Corp at the end of last month blaming 'disagreements over certain editorial content published by the company's news outlets'.On Thursday Lachlan, 48, who is the CEO of Fox Corporation and Rupert's 'golden child', told staff: 'More than ever this year, our audiences turned to us for the best in national and local news. 'FOX News, which ended fiscal year 2020 with record-breaking viewership, was also the leading primetime network in all of television
You might be leading now, Lachlen but your days are numbered as a leading news channel. I have am idea that when President Trump leaves office there will be a new game in town.

Fox News was so good when we first got it
Now it needs a total house-cleaning
And you know who I mean...

Fox has leaned further and further left for quite sometime now, and it's not just the hosts it's the reporting. On top of that, many corporate sponsors now will not run the risk of the wrath from the Left --- so they don't run commercials on Tucker, Hannity, Levin, Laura, etc. That's why all you see are those pillow ads, semi-questionable pills for everything, medical devices that might work, etc. and you never see Lexus or Mercedes Benz or the like. If you watch Fox, ask yourself why no car, beer, cereal, clothing ads, etc. on any of their more "conservative" shows? Boycott. So Fox, being business minded, has started to move Left.
Try NewsMax --- if you get it --- just for a change of pace and another viewpoint.

It's probable that FOX's numbers are largely propped up by Tucker, Hannity, Laura, Levin, The Five, and Outnumbered. "Fox and Friends" are slipping in subtle digs at Donald Trump. A few mornings ago Kilmead stated (1) that Biden has never said that Biden would ban fracking, and (2) that Karl Rove knows more about Trump's campaign than the campaign staff itself knows.

Fox News is becoming the old CNN. If youre old enough, youll recall that CNN B4 Fox News came along in 1998 was our alternative to the liberal media. Well, Fox is doing something right because it is smoking every one including the alphabet soup networks.
Since June 1, Fox News Channel has been not just the most-watched cable news network, but the highest-rated network in all of television. With an average prime-time audience of 3.451 million viewers, FNC beat CBS VIAC +3.4% (3.430 million), NBC (3.155 million), ABC (2.690 million) and Fox Broadcasting (1.414 million).
With the coronavirus dominating news coverage since early in the year, cable news has seen big jumps in viewership, but neither CNN nor MSNBC has managed to deliver audiences as consistently big as Fox News. The network’s ratings delivery has held strong, even as some major sports—initially canceled or delayed due to the pandemic—returned to television.

Other than FOX's tenuous connection to the President, I have no idea why I should care about a couple of rich brats fighting in public. Don't we have bars and bathhouses for that??

There are some Fox News commentators I don’t love but I am not joining the snowflake crowd who has to flip the channel to avoid hearing something they may not agree with.

A lot of the Fox News Channel (FNC) so-called on screen talent are full of themselves continuously cutting off and talking over the expert guests who appear on Fox shows to try to explain complex issues with which they have many years experience. They also need a button to cut off the audio off unruly guests, mostly nasty Democrat operatives, who talk over meek Republican guests.
During the weekdays, and on weekends in the daytime, the FNC channel tries to emulate the liberal alphabet channels, and you must have noticed that many times the FNC re-plays anti-Trump video from the liberal channels like CNN and MSNBC that consists of a lot of fake news. No wonder Murdoch is proud.

I don't follow Murdoch's offspring at all. Is the a good guy and a bad guy in all this?
