Biden’s Vice Presidential Angst

Would Vice President Biden’s search for a running mate have been so fraught if he hadn’t announced his plan to exclude male candidates from consideration? The thought occurs to us in the wake of the Washington Post’s story about Mr. Biden’s decision to delay by as much as two weeks the announcement of his choice and the ill-feeling among Democrats as jockeying for the position has intensified among the potential picks. “Even some longtime Biden allies worry that the process has become ‘messier than it should be,’ pitting women, especially Black women, against one another,” reports the Post’s Annie Linsky.

Once again - - Biden does NOT have "VP" angst. It's the demonrat leadership which has "P" angst. They're in an all-out meltdown over Joe's mental deterioration. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Hello Mooochelle!

geraldine brought some problems to the ticket. Her husband, whose last name Geraldine refused to use, was the worst kind of thief. He had been appointed by a court to conserve the assets of an elderly, incompetent lady. And he borrowed money from the fund he was supposed to conserve. Her son, a student at Middlebury College, was a drug dealer. father and son were each convicted, and received a slap on the wrist.

Joe's only "angst" is that his cream of wheat is cold. The delay is that Barack and Val Jar haven't told him yet who he's choosing.

"The reason he is taking extra time might be in respect of due diligence." Current day dems are not capable of such a nuance. The ONLY thing they care about is the votes that the VP candidate might pull in. Biden, despite the absolute denial of the Left, is in serious trouble. He is an unattractive candidate to women, Blacks, and Hispanics. He is seen as senile by more than 50% of those polled. The dems have a track record of failure and if Durham ever gets done, of serious corruption. Watching Pelousy, Scummer, Nadless, Schiffty, and the nutty Leftists prance around, babble, and lie is not reassuring to most voters. It seemed simple, pick a Black woman and shore up those identity groups. But most Black women are pretty Leftist or come with baggage. Many women are centrists or Conservative. A lot of Black men are as well. If Biden were solid, VP characteristics might be minimalized but in this case more and more people believe Biden will be pushed out of office quickly so when you vote, you are actually voting for the VP. Do you really see Stephanie Abrams as President? Liaz Warren? A Kalifornia Leftist? Further, many voters, seeing this Bait & Switch are NOT going to like it and may blow off the election. One thing for sure, the dem side of the election is as confused as Senile Joe. That's going to greatly reduce enthusiasm and dem turnout among critical dem groups. The reason they are hesitating is that they don't know what to do and Joe is too befuddled to give them leadership or guidance; a foretaste of a Biden Presidency.

Is anyone else starting to wonder if the Biden campaign and DNC are trying to concoct an excuse for why they didn't select a minority woman as VP? Would not put it past them if they think they can get away with it.

Kneeling for the national anthem at sporting events used to be the occasional episode of player activism protesting the United States as an evil racist empire. Amid the new 21st century woke revolution however, kneeling has become a key signifier for players and teams to declare which side of the culture wars one sits on. It’s those who love America versus those who hate it, the latter of which despises the American flag and all that it represents as a relic of white supremacy that must be condemned.

Extending the popular Payroll Protection Program is one of the few areas of agreement between the White House and Democrats in the latest proposed coronavirus stimulus — a spending bill criticized by many in the Republican base as a wasteful bailout for cities and states. Administration and banking industry sources say Senate Republicans‘ proposal to extend the PPP, which is set to expire this week, for companies with fewer than 300 employees and a reduction of 50% or more in revenue is accepted in principle in the talks. But the provision, which also offers more generous terms for loan forgiveness,

When mobs are attacking statues of Ulysses S. Grant, it is difficult to have an intelligent discussion about why some Confederate generals and officials deserve respect. No one today defends the role of slavery. However, if belief in racial equality is the sole measure of the worth of Americans at the time, few people, including in the North, would pass muster. Racism was rampant, and many northerners objected to slavery not on grounds of humanity and liberty, but because it created sectional division and, in their view, harmed white laborers. Most northern states denied free blacks the right to vote and serve on juries, and imposed other disabilities,

Why Voting By Mail Imperils
Biden More Than Trump

Posted by MissMolly 8/4/2020 4:25:03 AM Post Reply
The Democrats are obviously committed to using the COVID-19 pandemic as the latest pretext for achieving their longtime goal of widespread voting by mail. They may, however, end up outsmarting themselves. The Democrats are so invested in their revisionist history concerning Bush v. Gore that they have forgotten why SCOTUS actually stopped the Florida recounts on December 12, 2000. That was the “safe harbor” date after which the state’s electors may not have been counted. Federal law requires that states must resolve post-election disputes (e.g. recounts) within thirty-five days after Election Day or risk disfranchising their voters. In 2000, that would have changed the outcome of the presidential election.

Get this: Democrats want to scrap this year’s presidential debates. It’s not hard to guess why. “Whatever you do,” CNN’s Joe Lockhart, who served as President Bill Clinton’s press secretary, advised Joe Biden last week, “don’t debate” President Trump. Dem strategist Zac Petkanas argues: “This is not a normal presidential election, and Trump is not a legitimate candidate” and so doesn’t deserve a debate. (Never mind that Trump won an overwhelming majority of electoral votes.)

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has a "bizarre" habit of bragging about arrests that never happened, Fox News contributor Mollie Hemingway told "Tucker Carlson Tonight" Monday. I mean, I don't think he's the only politician out there to exaggerate or tell stories but he really is notable for this, and it was something that caused problems for him the first time he ran for president [in 1988] when that candidacy was derailed by his lies, his plagiarism."

Mayor Jacob Frey, the Minneapolis Democrat who faced sharp criticism over his handling of the George Floyd riots in June, on Monday seemed to place much of the blame on Gov. The Minneapolis Star-Tribune published a detailed report that shed light on the interaction between the mayor's office and Walz in the early days of the protest. The governor's office made it clear that National Guard Troops were ready within 24 hours of the mayor's informal request, but Frey seems to be unconvinced

Protesters in Gotham and other cities around the nation are so used to getting their way, they’ve been spoiled. Their illegal occupation of our streets and parks has become so routine that the protesting class throws tantrums when it faces consequences, however rarely that happens. Last week’s arrest of Nikki Stone, wanted for alleged serial vandalism of police cameras, was a case in point. The 18-year-old homeless woman was marching in a “peaceful,” though non-permitted, march down Second Avenue when plainclothes NYPD officers arrested her and put her in an unmarked van.

One of the basic tasks of the political Left, not only in contemporary America but on a worldwide basis ever since the French Revolution, is to identify those social institutions that are healthy and functional, then ruin them completely, and call this result “reform.” Sometimes millions of people die as a result of the Left’s appetite for “reform” (e.g., collectivization of agriculture in the Soviet Union), but always innocent people are made to suffer on behalf of the allegedly idealistic motives of the self-anointed progressive “reformers.” Scarcely half a century ago, America’s system of higher education was the envy of the world,

Gov. Thousands of New York City residents fled Manhattan and Brooklyn earlier this year when the city was the COVID-19 epicenter of the world. Many flocked to their second homes in the Hamptons or upstate, while others rented or bought new properties, abandoning their expensive city apartments. Now, six months on with no end to the national nightmare in sight, many are laying down permanent roots.
