A disconnect appears to have arisen between the Food and Drug Administration and a sizable number of physicians when it comes to prescribing hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19 patients. The situation garnered extra attention last week when a group of physicians billing themselves as America’s Frontline Doctors insisted that the drug could treat COVID-19 in a high-profile press conference in Washington. Clips of the event went viral on social media before being blocked on some platforms as misinformation. At the root of the disconnect is a medical practice known as "off-label prescribing.""Let doctors be doctors," said Dr. Alieta Eck,

It sure seems effective than what the hospitals are doing for the Covid-19 patients now.

,"While possible, it would be rare for a drug to be effective in mild disease if there is no signal of effectiveness in severe disease," he said. I can't believe this doctor would make this blunder. The progress of COVID-19 starts as a viral disease of the upper respiratory track but in severe cases becomes Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome that leads to deeper lung tissue destruction and other serious organ failures. HCQ and Zinc are only effective for the early URT stage of the disease within 4 or 5 days of symptom onset or in the asymptomatic phase.

In Texas City, TX, early on in this pandemic, a nursing home had 65 patience all test positive. These are the same types of sick and elderly that have died in the highest numbers from Covid-19. The nursing home doctor treated them with the hydroxychloroquine cocktail, and all 65 recovered. There was outrage from the lie-beral media about this when it happened. They screamed for the doctor's license to be revoked (though he had full legal right to do this). But the families all were so thankful when it was all said and done. And the media never mentioned it again.

"before being blocked as misinformation." There's the crux of the matter. Platforms think they're accredited and licensed doctors. The real truth is that there's money to be made with vaccines and never let a nickel get between a demonrat and the rest of us.

If I got COVID 19, I would want to be treated early on with hydroxychloroquine cocktail. In fact, I would insist that the Dr. treat me. I'll sign anything. What President Trump should do is sign an executive order to sell this over the counter, like the various flu medications that you can purchase to help build up your immune system and fight off the flu.

once the authority of MD's to prescribe as they deem fit is taken away and the government intercedes and causes the MD's to prescribe as the government sees fit, that is state authored medical blundering. MD's should be able to prescribe as they see fit. there is far too much government involvement in our lives today in every aspect of how we live our lives. government is the problem and not the solution.

President Barack Obama’s address at the funeral of Representative John Lewis in Atlanta on Thursday, for the most part, was a moving tribute to a courageous pioneer in the civil rights movement. The total immersion in beatific praise that was accorded to the congressman throughout his prolonged itinerary between his physical death and actual burial was doubtless substantially deserved. (It does not allow for his dismissal of President Trump as “illegitimate,” and other reflections that were unseemly coming from a man so much praised for his graciousness and civility.)But embedded in Obama’s eloquent eulogy were reflections on the current political condition of the United States that were untrue

CHICAGO — She’s too ambitious. She’s not apologetic enough. She should smile more. The debate over Joe Biden’s running mate has recently ticked through a familiar list of stereotypes about women in politics as the Democratic presidential candidate and his allies stumble through a search they had hoped would stand out for its inclusion and diversity. Instead, the vice presidential vetting has resurfaced internal party divisions between the old-guard establishment and a younger generation that’s more attuned to gender and racial biases and willing to speak out. Some contend it’s just more evidence of why Biden needs a woman on his ticket.

Venezuela has the world’s highest murder rate because the police there don’t stop murder unless it helps politics. So long as homocide doesn’t threaten the power or wealth of the governing party, murders are largely unsolved and are often committed by the very police who should be preventing them. As Business Insider reports, in Venezuela murders happen with “widespread impunity” because of “the complete [dysfunction] of the judicial system that allows for a significant degree of impunity for some, usually high-profile, offenders, and, as a result, disregard for the law, because it’s selectively applied.”

In an interview with CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Neel Kashkari said that the only way to have “a real robust economic recovery” is to quash the flare-ups of the coronavirus that continue to pop up across the country. Shutting things down “for a month or six weeks” would allow the nation’s case count to get low enough that the government’s testing and contact tracing efforts could effectively contain future spreading, Kashkari said,
