Ellen DeGeneres: #MeToo Hypocrite

Original Article

Ellen DeGeneres, a strong supporter of the #MeToo movement, is now under fire for sexual abuse and harassment that allegedly took place at her own show. After a history of aggressively pursuing others accused of such abuse, the talk show host is working to avoid responsibility for her workplace environment. On Thursday night, BuzzFeed News revealed that dozens of former employees of the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” claim to have experienced or witnessed sexually abusive actions by the show’s top executive producers. The allegations include that executive producer Kevin Leman asked an employee to give him a hand job or perform oral sex on him at a company party,

Not only was her show unwatchable, and she a dizzying level of bore, her staff was comprised of lecherous gays who she did nothing to discipline into some degree of decency. Yuck.

Ellen, the former face of J.C. Penney, seems more like the white, lesbian version of Oprah. Ooops. Correction. The white version. She always gave off a phony vibe, so it's not a surprise to read the litany of officeplace sins against her. What is it with these liberal uterus-owners that turns them into such spite-filled, arrogant people? She enjoys such a positive image, but it seems to be dancing away from her very rapidly.

Being inebriated and at a party is a slightly different atmosphere than the workplace but if you are going to be a Social Justice Karen, you need to be consistent. I can't and don't watch Ellen but this is a hit job.

People have been fired for far less. Since nobody has been fired, one has to wonder if there is no evidence. Is this going to turn into a he said/she said? Given the environment Ellen has created, its more likely he said/he said or she said/she said. Ellen's the boss. Has she checked out the allegations? Has she been accused of anything herself? Has anyone even gone to her with complaints? Is she protecting people?

Typical of a homosexual, everything is about wanton sex, and anything goes. Running a "loose ship" is in keeping with their "moral norms." To a homo if you don't like it you can leave.

Seems to me she proves the old adage, Those who yell the loudest, are usually the biggest offenders. Thing is, there are a whole bunch of predatory cougars in the entertainment industry, and Ellen is simply the tip of the iceberg. If they really want to clean out the rot, they need to go after the cougars too. But then that would mean they would have to wrap their heads around the concept that men can be victims too. The Left can't do that.

While rioters previously attacked federal buildings, businesses, and even officers, this weekend, they found a new target: Bibles. A video posted to Twitter on Saturday shows rioters holding Black Lives Matter signs tossing Bibles into a fire. Bystanders stood and watched as the flames licked away at the pages of the books. “Left-wing activists bring a stack of Bibles to burn in front of the federal courthouse in Portland,” wrote the Twitter user, Ian Cheong, who posted the video.

Twitter informed me that my account was suspended for sharing content they disagree with, and while I suppose I should be flattered by joining such august company as Donald Trump Jr., this issue is bigger than me: it is a question of censorship. The reason I was given by Twitter for why my account was suspended was because, according to them, I spread “false information” about COVID-19, or rather, information that goes against “accepted science.” Is it possible that the geniuses at Twitter are referencing the medical journal Lancet, which published a study claiming hydroxychloroquine was not effective in fighting the coronavirus

A fundamental and tragic fact of life in America today is that whatever President Trump is for, most media and half the country instantly reject. Even when he’s clearly right, the zombie-like resistance leaps into frenetic opposition. Take the case of universal mail-in voting. Trump insists that the plans of some states, such as California and Colorado, to counter the pandemic by mailing a ballot to every registered voter is a formula for disaster. It will, the president says, guarantee mayhem and cast doubts on the November results.

Former national security adviser Susan Rice would be a “human lightning rod” if selected to be Democrat Joe Biden’s running mate, a Washington Post columnist wrote Friday. Rice, who is reported to be among shrinking list of Biden vice presidential contenders, has the advantage of a longstanding close relationship with Biden, unlike any of the other names on the list. But Biden's want for “familiarity and comfort” are luxuries the nation doesn’t have time for in this singular time of crisis, Post columnist Dana Milbank writes. Despite Rice’s impressive resume -- Rhodes scholar, Oxford, U.N ambassador, national security adviser -- she has serious Benghazi baggage

The OCE report was released because the House Ethics Committee decided to further extend its investigation into Bishop.

“Every day’s a good day when you paint.” —Bob Ross (1942–1995) Staring at the empty canvas on the easel in front of me, I couldn’t understand how this—nothing—might somehow transform into even a rough approximation of the Bob Ross painting we were using as a model. That painting was classic Bob Ross: a snowy landscape bursting with color, a world of glimmering trees and vibrant shrubs around a slick, icy pond. Gazing at it evoked that feeling you get sitting by a fire on a crisp, cold night. No way I could make anything like that. I was in a room on the side of a big-box craft store

No one would argue that Rep. John Lewis doesn’t deserve a proper memorial. He was a civil rights icon and a long-serving member of Congress who was beloved by his colleagues. In the middle of a pandemic, however, how do we decide who gets the pomp and circumstance of a traditional burial and who has to watch their loved one go six feet under via Zoom call? Funerals are important: they acknowledge the sanctity of life and allow friends and family to come together to grieve their loss. This reality doesn’t change based on how famous or revered an individual was to the general public:

No state wears its multicultural veneer more ostentatiously than California. The Golden State’s leaders believe that they lead a progressive paradise, ushering in what theorists Laura Tyson and Lenny Mendonca call “a new progressive era.” Others see California as deserving of nationhood; it reflects, as a New York Times columnist put it, “the shared values of our increasingly tolerant and pluralistic society.” In response to the brutal killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti announced plans to defund the police—a move applauded by Senator Kamala Harris, a prospective Democratic vice presidential candidate, despite the city’s steep rise in homicides.

Trump made the offer while hosting the family of Vanessa Guillen, who was 20, in the Oval Office. A male soldier suspected of killing Guillen near the Texas base committed suicide, the Army has said. In response to a reporter’s question, Trump said he’s paid for other soldiers’ funerals.

On Aug. 1, 1945, 12-year-old Hideko Sudo went to bed fully clothed and full of worry. For days, air raid alerts had left the coastal city of Toyama on edge, prompting her school's closure. More alarmingly, earlier that day, American planes had rained down leaflets warning of an imminent attack. Hideko's fears proved well-founded. Despite a sophisticated alert system and a decade of air defense drills, the arrival just after midnight of a wave of B-29 bombers plunged Toyama into chaos. Superfortresses — 173 of them — encountered only sparse antiaircraft fire as they released around 1,500 tons of incendiaries onto the city's center.

President Trump seems determined to sow confusion and chaos ahead of the 2020 election. "There is a procedure -- it's a very elaborate procedure -- in every state for resolving disputes by the date of the so-called safe harbor on December 8th," Tribe explained. "So, really, all of the efforts that Trump is making to both pretend that he can extend the date of the election, which everyone understands he can't do that. That date is set at November 3rd by act of Congress."
