Chicago saw a dramatic increase in homicides and shootings in the first seven months of 2020 and a particularly remarkable increase in July, reflecting a growing trend in the U.S. that raised questions about potential police reform in major cities.Data released on Saturday showed that Chicago saw 440 homicides between January 2020 through the end of June, a 52 percent increase from the same time period last year (which saw 290 homicides). Shooting victims similarly increased by 51 percent (1,480 to 2,240) and shooting incidents themselves rose 47 percent (from 1,210 to 1,783).Crime tends to increase during summers, but recent events have fueled unrest in the U.S.

It's not a "growing trend in the U.S." just in democrat-run major cities who have made it clear that they want no federal assistance, Just Send Money. My community had the same number of shootings this year as last year, Zero, and you would have to look hard to find a home without at least one gun in it. Lightfoot, Frey, Durkan, Wheeler, Bowser, Bottoms, de Blasio all are delusional BLM supporters who are looking for millions of dollars to rebuild the damage that they allowed their out-of-control savages to cause. We all understand what they mean by "transfer money to community services," the same old handouts that have been getting democrats elected for decades.

She is so completely incompetent that all she can do is deflect blame away from herself. It looks like she intentionally is trying to destroy the city. More of the same will get us more of the same. The problem isn't too many guns, and the solution isn't more free stuff. If availability of guns was the cause of crime, places like Wyoming and Montana would have the highest crime rates. No, the problem is RAT policies. More resources will make it worse.

Those black lives don't matter. Were they killed by cops? No? See. No problem. Just bury them somewhere. No Black Lives Matter except the 8 thus far this year who were killed in police custody. And they were supremely important. Besides, we have already lost Seattle, Portland, and Minneapolis. Anarchy already reigns in those cities.

Democrats are contemplating secession and potential civil war as they game out possible scenarios for a closely contested election, according to a report by Ben Smith in a New York Times column Sunday. The bulk of Smith’s column is devoted to the question of how the media will handle Election Night coverage, given that the result may not be known for weeks. Vote-by-mail, which many states have only recently adopted — ostensibly, to prevent the spread of coronavirus in polling places — could lead to an uncertain result. However, buried near the end of Smith’s column is a report that Democrats have participated in a “war game”

Laurence Tribe says the president is trying to make the election ‘look chaotic’ and mentions a ‘fail safe’: President Nancy Pelosi. "There is a procedure -- it's a very elaborate procedure -- in every state for resolving disputes by the date of the so-called safe harbor on December 8th," Tribe explained. "So, really, all of the efforts that Trump is making to both pretend that he can extend the date of the election, which everyone understands he can't do that. More alarmingly, earlier that day, American planes had rained down leaflets warning of an imminent attack. Hideko's fears proved well-founded. Despite a sophisticated alert system and a decade of air defense drills, the arrival just after midnight of a wave of B-29 bombers plunged Toyama into chaos. Superfortresses — 173 of them — encountered only sparse antiaircraft fire as they released around 1,500 tons of incendiaries onto the city's center.

President Trump has been speaking out against mail-in voting for weeks now. Democrats know it is easier to cheat and steal votes when a state moves to mail-in voting. It’s the reason Nevada Democrats on Saturday passed mail-in voting and ballot harvesting in their special session just 97 days before the national election. They know it’s easier to cheat that way. President Trump posted this video earlier this week that shows how corrupt and flawed the mail-in voting process is in America today. [Video] But Marco Rubio sided with Democrats today.
