A St. Louis County, Mo., prosecutor said Thursday that he will not be charging the White police officer who shot 18-year-old Michael Brown in 2014, after quietly reopening the investigation.
Civil rights leaders and Brown's mother reportedly hoped that Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell, who became the county’s first Black prosecutor in January 2019, might reopen the investigation into police officer Darren Wilson, who shot Brown six years ago.
Bell told reporters today that his decision was “one of the most difficult things I’ve had to do."

There was nothing difficult about the case that the decision should have been difficult. Evidence showed that the criminal fought the policeman, wrestled with him for his gun and the policeman defended himself. What the criminal's mother hoped was that with the present unstable climate, a black prosecutor would side against the policeman who did nothing wrong.

As every TV cop show watcher knows - there is no statute of limitations on murder. So is this matter going to resurface as a sop to BLM and black voters from here on? Brown was a thug who brought on his own death almost as the equivalent to 'suicide by cop'. Brown's family needs to get over their trying to blame his death on anything other than his own damnn fault.

So Wilson should have just sat still while being crushed by an Orca?

“ Bell told reporters today that his decision was “one of the most difficult things I’ve had to do."
If a black prosecutor has to consider following the obvious evidence of a white cop’s blamelessness “the most difficult things I had to do,” then that is a real problem, isn’t it?
And also this: “There are so many points at which Darren Wilson could have handled the situation differently and if he had, Michael Brown might still be alive,” Bell told reporters.” Oh yeah? Name those points! That is a year’s worth of Monday morning quarterbacking! Drop it once and for all! Throw Michael Brown’s ghetto tramp mother a bone and close the gate!

What were they reopening it for in the first place? Trying to stir the S*** some more? They don't give a nickle about the lives of the people involved that want to get on with their lives. These people are despicable and need to be thrown out of office.

There was no reason to "reopen" this case other than to incite violence. Check out this ridiculous quote from the Columbia Missourian:
"St. Louis County’s top prosecutor announced Thursday that he will not charge the former police officer who fatally shot Michael Brown in Ferguson, a dramatic decision that could reopen old wounds amid a renewed and intense national conversation about racial injustice and the police treatment of minorities."
A "dramatic decision"? Not at all. It was the only decision that could be made.
If anything would "reopen old wounds" is a useless reopening of a case closed by Barak Obama. And it was done for exactly that reason!

So, even though the new prosecutor is black, he can still find another black person guilty of a crime after a jury already has. Now, we're getting somewhere!

So the officer could have done things differently at so many points and Brown would still be alive. How about BROWN doing a few things differently and he'd still be alive? Maybe if he hadn't committed a robbery, or hit the officer in the face while he was still in his patrol car, or charged at him instead of submitting to a lawful arrest . . . .

This clown thinks this decision is the most difficult he's ever had to make? I guess to this idiot, the color of one's skin is more important then the facts. This was an open and shut case. The police officer had every right to use deadly force, and the neighborhood is better off as a result.

How many times must this poor former policeman be investigated? There have been at least three that I've seen, including one by the Obama Justice Department. They ruined his career and he had to move away from Ferguson. No telling what his legal bills are. Will every new DA "reopen" the case? At what point can he sue for harassment?

So they get to hang this 'future prosecution's around his neck for the rest of his life?
That is not Constitutional. By law he is considered innocent. Unless they have new substantial evidence, they should not reopen the case. The fact this prosecutor did is questionable. Possibly politically motivated.
You don't get to keep reviewing the facts till they suit your opinion.
Though, as we know Democrats do this for court cases, elections... anything where they didn't get what they want. To them facts are malleable and settled only when they have been massaged in their favor.
In other words, they are liars and fraudsters of the worst stripe - waiting for an opportunity to destroy anyone, even 'friends' or family, to achieve that brief high of winning at any cost.

"One of the most difficult things I've had to do" really what a dumb thing to say. That's like saying, Mrs. Brown I'll try my best to throw a murder charge on the white cop who killed your thug son. Ah shucks the evidence favored the cop, again. I tried Mrs. Brown, I tried.
Get ready the new narrative for the BLM movement is to retry all killing of blacks by cops.

@#3 - Officer Warren did not 'murder' Michael Brown and was subsequently not charged - therefore, no statute of limitations on murder applies regarding this case.
