Utah Sen. Mitt Romney, a Republican and vocal critic of President Trump, believes the president is likely to win reelection in November despite Trump’s poor poll numbers.Romney said in early June that he has “long thought” that Trump would win reelection. He explained his reasoning in an interview with the Huffington Post for an article published on Thursday.“There are enormous advantages to being the incumbent, number one,” Romney told HuffPost on Thursday. “Number two, I think [Trump] will tack more towards the middle in his communication than he has so far.”

And number four, you don't support him!
By the way Mittens what the hell do you mean his communication will track more toward the middle? Middle of what, between where and where?

The first reason he wins, I suspect, is that he isn't you.

There's a fourth reason. Trump wont listen to Mittens advice.

Warning: I read the whole article and accidentally saw again Romney's note justifying why he voted to impeach a president who had committed neither crimes nor misdemeanors -- a president who was, in fact, the victim of a criminally-orchestrated coup attempt by people who were no doubt very grateful to Romney for his betrayal.
It made me sick, just like Mitt Romney.

I love how media keeps asking Romney for his opinions now that he's the new McCain-style "maverick". Yet in 2012:
"Mitt Romney is racist" - Miami New Times
"Mitt Romney Accused of Racism" - nymag.com
"DNC Chair: Romney Welfare Attacks are Racist" - usnews.com
"Mitt Romney and RNC: stoking the racial politics of yesteryear?"
"Mitt Romney's Racist Appeals" - nyuscholars.nyu.edu
I could go on, but no need. Now that Mitt criticizes President Trump the media loves him again.

I suspect Rummey is in despair that the dems have such a disastrous candidate and a platform of rioting and violence. He can't quite bring himself to support Gropey Joe. Rummey would love to campaign against Trump but there is nowhere to go with that.

His reasons: "1" is correct, an incumbent has advantages. "2" is incorrect, Trump is who Trump is, and he's not going to change his message for the election - that's a Romney trick. "3" is possible, but unproven; nobody can predict who will or will not vote, or how they'll vote. That was proven by the 2016 polls.
So Romney's reasons are either "1" well-known, "2" projection, or "3" wild speculation. The world is no better for his gum-flapping.

What middle ground Romney? There is no middle ground. This election is as black and white as it gets, and that has nothing to do with any racial implications.

Was little boy Romney crying when he said he thought Trump would win? What a pathetic excuse for a man he is.

Why does anybody are what Mitt Romney thinks? His actions, comments, and decisions over the past year have shown that Romney is clearly incapable of any form of rational thought when it comes to Pres. Donald Trump.

Positioning himself as a "reluctant entry" should he enter the Presidential race in late August. Romney is a conniver...and he's conniving.
