WASHINGTON – Under siege over his response to COVID-19 and protests against systemic racism and facing bad polls in his reelection bid against Joe Biden, President Donald Trump defended his performance in an interview broadcast Sunday – including his claims that the coronavirus will simply "disappear.""I'll be right eventually," Trump told Chris Wallace, the host of "Fox News Sunday," in the interview taped Friday. "You know, I said, 'It's going to disappear.' I'll say it again."Trump – as he did before his surprise victory over Hillary Clinton in 2016 –refused to say whether he would challenge the results of the election should he lose to Biden.

Trump doesn't have to defend his handling of the Chinese virus. Trump's approach was based on the recommendations of doctors from the CDC. The results, good or bad, were based on the information he was given, and the actions of governors and mayors from around the country based on that information. Imagine the crap the media would be giving Trump if he had gone it alone without any input from the CDC. Trump was in a damned if you do, and damned if you don't situation. Exactly what the media and demosluts wanted.

Trump will be critized no matter what he says so he should stop answering the questions. Wallace is an unsufferable girlie man who was wrong on his facts.

His first remark, "it's a hoax" is dead on right. Yeah, a virus, some got sick and unfortunately, because of total incompetence by some politicians and drs, some died. Mostly old folks like me. I've had enough of this stuff. Can't figure out why Walmart fell in line with masks other than there is now a booming new business in making and selling them.

People are more concerned with the riots than the media virus.

This was an overblown virus. Yes, it could have probably been handled differently, but it was handled much better than H1N1. One of the biggest mistakes was putting Drs. Fauci and Brix up front. They should have a team of doctors, not just these two quacks. President Trump needs to tell the nation why CDC was removed from housing data on the virus. You and I know, because they are political hacks that work at that agency, they really are incompetent, and they screwed up a lot of the guidance and gathering of information. The President needs to tell the nation the problem with CDC and how they are going to fix it.

Eventually it will go away, and it would have been better if everyone had done nothing. Every reaction has been ruinous, ineffectual, and useless.

In spite of the mountains of criticism by the media, including some jerks at Fox, Trump is calling out this virus scam correctly. They are still praising Fauci "the expert."

No President or other politician can solve the Chinese COVID pandemic, that is all in the hands of medical science.
Chances are the nation is suffering the effects of for all intents and purposes of what is a Chinese Communist allowed covert biological warfare attack on the USA and other countries across the world. Common sense will tell you that occurred, as the current Chinese COVID virus is exceptionally contagious and was designed to easily spread across uncontrollable and undisciplined population groups as that make up the USA during this era. The Chinese Communists, who allowed such a killer biological warfare attack to proceed, you can bet knew that the result would seriously damage the US and other developed countries economies and would be bound to eventually weaken and bankrupt large US and other nations corporations to the benefit of China who could then move in and buy out those corporations for a song.
