Rebuilding America by Restoring
the University

Pennsylvania State University recently removed a tweet welcoming conservative perspectives after the school received backlash on social media and complaints from students. This intolerance does not surprise conservatives familiar with our higher education institutions. Our colleges and universities, especially the elite ones, indoctrinate more students into anti-American sentiments every year, all the while happily accepting billions of dollars in federal funding. But higher education faces an era of high financial instability due to the unsure state of social distancing and the probable enrollment drop induced by a baby bust. Colleges are begging for extra financial assistance during these unsure times. Conservatives, especially those in the executive branch of the federal government,

While I agree with the premise of the article, I am disappointed the author chose to ignore a crucial point. What I see in higher education is almost a mirror reflection of both the behemoth tech companies and the media/democrat axis. All of them are racist, bigoted and intolerant of any opinion that differs from their own. They all have used Nazi bully tactics to silence, attack and harass us to the point we simply back down. The author states that 'conservatives do not have enough manpower to simply take over these institutions from the inside.' My thoughts are: We don't have to. Instead of focusing on taking down Facebook/Twitter/Reddit/...etc. We should focus on one or two. Thereby giving us at least a voice and people an option against the relentless assault of the leftist brownshirts. The same argument could be made on higher ed. Instead of taking down all of them (highly unlikely), we should use financial, legislative, and brute strength to take down a strategic few of them thereby giving students and parents an option or a choice. Asking leftists to give us choice is like asking Dracula to drink a garlic tea at sunrise. The only way they advance their agenda is by denying choices or alternatives and using bullying and violence to get their ways. We have been silent and tolerant for too long.

You want to re-tool universities so that they are saner? Then offer nothing but majors in one of the STEM disciplines. It won't go far enough, but it will be a good start.

Defund these institutions. Don't send your kids there, certainly don't pay for it. If you need a sign to tell you whether to attend or not, just consider that when an opportunity came for the university to stand up against the bullies on behalf of conservative students, it failed completely. The administration proved to be narrow-minded bigots and total cowards. DON'T subject your children to this kind of abuse!

It's more like shuttering universities to get rid of their communist indoctrination in order to restore America.

When I first started reading Kurt Schlichter’s political columns, I thought he was a bit of a blowhard and also kind of an evil genius at cooking up big, steaming pies of metaphor scrapple. I also figured he was preaching to the choir. A Schlichter essay can be a tactical victory, but, if you are fighting a war, you have to win a few strategic maneuvers. Would his columnar vitality translate to book length? In The 21 Biggest Lies About Donald Trump (and You!), the answer is yes and no.
