Bill Cosby is invoking the recent unrest and move for racial inequality in the appeal of his sexual assault conviction.
The disgraced actor and comedian gave a testimony in 2005, in which he admitted that he gave Quaaludes to young women he wanted to have sex with, an admission that ultimately spurred the release of case files in 2015 to The Associated Press and aided in giving credibility to the #MeToo movement.
For his conduct, which was described by U.S. District Judge Eduardo Robreno in June 2015 as “perhaps criminal,”

Could someone, anyone, give some examples of "systemic racism?" Other than the left's never ending list of excuses for their failures...?

I agree with # 1. Just what is systemic racism. What is white privilege? The only privilege I have is what I worked for. Exactly how do we end racism? Seriously. How would that happen? How will we know when we've ended it. What is the end goal?

The only systemic racism in Cosby's case was that most of his rape victims were white.

"Systemic" is the Left's new word toy. They never say racism anymore without saying systemic first now. Guess it sounds evil and dark to them.

He waited too long. He should have claimed racism when he went to prison and that other sexual predator named Bill (Clinton) who is white, got a free pass.

Here is a man who had it all.Race never held him back, He was rich, successful, watched and enjoyed by all races.
It wasn't race who took him down, it was his propensity to dope women and have sex with them.
Now he wants to cry racism?
Shove that charge up your Giggy Bill. It just aint so.

#1, systemic racism is the invisible, un-proveable evil source of anything a liberal/progressive/democrat/marxist does not like.

At last, Cosby has an excuse the left can believe. I ran across an article by the delightful duo Diamond and Silk that completely refutes such a claim of ''systemic racism'' (which has become the new COVID-19). They would know.

The left runs on style over substance , .emotion over fact. Optics over actions. They invent phases that have little or no actual truth to them . "white privilege". systemic racism, " no justice no peace". Question them and you're denigrated. The right has one phrase "Make America Great Again" say it or wear and and not only are you labeled a "racist" , you're likely to be beaten up.The left is big on violence against the right, not the other way around. They believe in tolerance as long as you agree with them. Truth is, they are everything they accuse everyone else of.

Cosby was universally loved by everyone (except his victims).
His positive image was a huge obstacle to overcome in getting a conviction.
That is the opposite of systematic racism.

I agree with my fellow LDotters. Your clarity on issues is to be commended and it is without a hint of systemic racism. You cut to the facts, analyze them, and offer an opinion that is right on target. This is what sets conservative thought apart from democrat talking points. You bring substance to the analysis, not emotion. So grateful to Miss Lucianne for giving us the opportunity to share our comments, opinions and thoughts. Proud to be part of this group. So thankful for every avenue given to us to express ourselves. We need to know we are not alone in our thinking. Stay strong, healthy, and go save this nation on November 3rd.

A country steeped in "systemic racism" does not elect a (half) black president. You can't tell a kid he has no chance because the whites are holding him down, and then tell him he can be president. White supremacy racism (if it existed) just doesn't work that way. Why did so many people, of which I am one, love the man we thought Cosby was? The man was hugely successful. Not possible in a country that is overwhelmingly filled with white people that supposedly hate you.

A life lived as a fake. Now he’s paying for it and is desperate. This will do him no good. LE and the judicial system have been seeing the race card played for a long, long time.

Some examples of systemic racism:
The Congressional Black Caucus.
BLM
The Southern Poverty Law Center
NAACP
Of course, it exists in democrat-run cities, Black-only colleges, and many other places.

This is laughable on so many levels. First, he confessed. That makes all of the ‘racist justice system’ arguments moot. He claims the prosecutor told him he would never be charged. That is judicial corruption that has nothing to do with race but was his assumption that money and fame would absolve him of accountability. Last, the biggest complaint other blacks have about him is that he blamed other blacks for their own failures. Too bad they don’t break this story down and teach it in school.

And to think I once liked this dirt-bag when he was on "I Spy" and a regular on Carson.
Yeah ... "systemic" racism has allowed millions of blacks in this country to become very wealthy property owners, doctors, dentists, lawyers and elected officials who than govern over mostly whites!
You lying, useless sack-of-manure. Then, in the article, his dopey wife claims there's a history of "white women" making false claims about being raped by black men!
Black multi-millionaires --- and not just them but other entertainers & athletes --- living better than 99.9% of us would ever dream and they pulled that off in a racist country. Really??

I am in no way trying to excuse this man for his horrendous crimes. But I do think the only reason that Bill Cosby was ever brought to justice was because he told the truth about what was happening in the Black community. When he started talking about the problems with Black families it was over for him. In the past Cosby was always sheltered by the media, the Democrats and even the feminists. If anyone never suffered from racism it was Bill Cosby.

"Systemic racism" is nothing other than the excuse for every variety of crime and irresponsibility.
The only "systemic racism" in America is official racism against European-Americans.
