The Biden Factor Is
Difficult to Calculate

Original Article

Posted By: Imright, 6/16/2020 7:56:03 AM

The final stage of the election campaign and its result will depend on four factors: management of the balance between demand for police reform and concern for the maintenance of public order; whether there is a significant revival of COVID-19; the swiftness of the economic recovery; and the resolution of questions about Joe Biden’s apparent capacity to serve as president. Hovering above the campaign will be the question of indictments from U.S. Attorney John Durham’s special counsel investigation. On all that has been revealed, crimes will be charged, and Attorney General William Barr confirmed last week that those whose conduct is likely to be judged controversial will be “familiar” names.

Biden's continuing gaffes and mental lapses have not been widely reported. The public at large may be shocked to see his bumbling, wandering thought processes when in the spotlight. If Biden ever has to give a wide-ranging press conference, the election will be over.

This election will boil down to this: "Have you had enough of Trump?" If the answer is yes, PDT is gone. If the answer is no, then it will be four more years. All that's being done now is to hurt the middle class, threaten their well-being, bring on social shame, and, as always, diminish PDT as President. Issues? What issues? This is an attack on his "cult of personality". And that is the only strategy the UNIPARTY has left. Biden is a placekeeper for the Democrats, who have nothing on their bench. Watch a certain "moderate conservative" U.S Senator from Utah...if the math works out by Labor Day...

Democrats absolutely do not want to calculate in the Biden factor. They know it is a NEGATIVE. Not a positive.

Elections never take place in a vacuum. Have you had enough of Trump is a question which will be viewed in balance with what is the other alternative. As that lady in Seattle said four years of Biden will mean more blacks dead and in jail. Doubts about Trump's promises in 2016 were balanced by a strong loathing of Hillary. Same logic will be at work in 2020.

Thousands of maskless protesters running rampant through the streets? No problem. A political rally for President Trump? Out of the question! That’s the take of Joy Behar, a co-host of ABC’s “The View,” who claims Trump’s Tulsa, Oklahoma, rally on Saturday is a far greater danger to public health than the Black Lives Matter protests occurring across the U.S. “He only cares that you come and supply kudos to his massive ego,” Behar said Tuesday before demanding Trump supporters stay home. “He won’t even give you health insurance if you get sick. A coalition of gun-rights groups has filed a last-minute bid to prevent Virginia from implementing monthly limits on gun purchases. On July 1, Virginia will prohibit residents from buying more than one gun per month unless they are law enforcement or hold a valid gun-carry license. The measure serves as a key part of the gun-control package that Democrats passed after taking control of the Virginia legislature, but Second Amendment advocates say it violates the state constitution, as well as federal gun rights. How sweet to be a Democrat. They seem to think it's game to engage in despicable acts and dare anyone to hold them accountable. No matter how bold and in your face the act, no matter how crazy the statement or preposterous the proposal (think Green New Deal), they know they will not be seriously questioned or held to account, let alone disciplined. This doesn't stop them from screaming bloody murder when Republicans engage in the exact same behavior, nor from demanding that the harshest punishments be meted out. In fact, this, too, is part of the game, and it gives them great — and perverse — pleasure.

Sen. Tim Kaine claimed that the United States created the institution of slavery. During Tuesday remarks on the Senate floor, the Virginia Democrat addressed the issue of accountability in police departments but later claimed that the U.S. created the institution of slavery. "The first African Americans sent into the English colonies came to Point Comfort, Virginia, in 1619. They were slaves. They had been captured against their will. But they landed in colonies that didn't have slavery. There were no laws about slavery in the colonies at that time. The United States didn't inherit slavery from anybody. We created it," Kaine said.

There an evergreen adage in the world of business, politics and entertainment: “Timing is Everything.” (snip) The key to triggering this transformation was to be a spark in the form of another white police killing of an unarmed black man and the unleashing of the dogs of violence and intimidation throughout the country, culminating in the subsequent acquiescing by the ruling class to virtually all demands of the radical left in order to ensure peace. But the tragedy that befell George Floyd came too soon, as the timing and circumstances were not yet in place for this master plan to succeed.

We are making an important change today in our writing style. When referring to a culture, ethnicity or group of people from the African diaspora we will use “Black,” with an uppercase B. We are making this change to NJ Advance Media’s style guide to acknowledge and respect the word represents a people with shared cultures and experiences, and not a color. Black, we believe, should be used like other identifiers, such as “Asian,” “Latino” or “African American.” We also will continue to use “African American” in stories when warranted, as “African American” and “Black” aren’t always interchangeable.
