The hearing just ended. The radical leftists dug in. Even though their case is ridiculous and anti-legal - - the radical leftist judges hearing it are delusionally sympathetic to it.
This should be a slam-dunk dismissal - - and a removal of Algonquin J. Sullivan from the bench - - but reason and sanity are no longer valued by radical leftist judges. Their goal is to stretch this out beyond the November election - - and it looks like they'll succeed.

I think a better plan to end this is to have Trump Pardon him NOW! Why let it drag on through the election. That's what the Democrats want. Pardon or Exonerate or whatever Trump can do for Flynn to end this nightmare! Then go after the Judge and have him Impeached!

To Sullivan's case, he has not yet decided the case. His attorney said, based on the amicus brief, there is no request to call witnesses or to extend this nightmare. So, if that is the case, let Sullivan hold his sham hearing and make his decision. My bet... they same groups will be right back in front of the same court.

Much sound and fury. One wonders why DOJ and Flynn don't want to get this into court. The entire matter stinks, on both sides. So, what's the game here? I understand the government's interests in covering up its perfidy. Let's get the truth, the whole truth...or are we afraid of that? The Deputy Solicitor General seemed to be.

The funny thing about this particular case, if the government didn't keep delaying his sentencing, then they would have had that conviction they so desperately need/demand now, right?
And, due to the delay, more evidence has come out that weakens the government case, and the fundamental rationale that was used by the FBI and DOJ.

Me thinks that the more delays there are, the deep state operatives buy some more time.
Taking Gen Flynn out early was key. He knew how and where the intelligence deep staters buried the bodies. He'd have figured out their scam pretty darn quick. And the longer they keep him tied up in this legal morass, well, the less likely he can come back and bite them in the back side.
Even the dirtiest lawyers in DOJ and FBI gumshoes knew they didn't have a case. If any of the evidence that these slobs left around (memo: don't write anything down, don't text anything you never want to see the light of day. use the stinkin' phone and TALK or meet someone face-to-face) saw the light of day, their case would be toast. Of course, getting a friendly judge (like Judge Sullivan) insured that they could muck up the waters a little more. The longer they could hold off that pesky lady, Sidney Powell, well, the longer they could keep things on their side.
Oops. But they forgot something. A new sheriff showed up in town by the name of Bill Barr. And Bill knows the difference between when it's raining and when you're tinkling on his shoe. He got the stuff that the deep staters (inclduing Herr Weissman and Mueller's Swamp Gestapo) used for their phony charges and brought in people to drop the case.
But no, we can't drop the case, says Judge Sullivan (who, like the FISA court judges, are obviously in on the scam). Let's drag this out as long as we can ... hopefully we can find something to hang on Trump to get him beat in November. We tried Russian Collusion,Stormy Daniels, Emoluments, Ukrainian/Impeachment, COVID and shutting down the economy, and now the riots, and darn, none of them work. The only two things they have left are the Flynn case and if they can get one of his hotel maids to flip that Trump told her to tear off those "Do Not Remove Under Penalty of Federal Law" tags off his hotel mattresses.
If President Trump pardons Gen Flynn (which he has the right to do and honestly is the right thing to do), the left and media whores are gonna play "cover-up. obstruction" and go send the cleaning crew down to the Capitol basement to get Shifty's Star Chamber ready for Impeachment #2. And I think Ms. Powell and Gen Flynn would rather have a dismissal in court to clean up the entire matter.
I just hope the good General and Ms Powell have the inclination and the staying power to file the civil suit of Flynn vs Comey, et al for damages. They'll never repay the General and his family for the grief and h-e-double-hockey-sticks they had to endure, but as Eddie Murphy told Dan Akroyd in Trading Places, the best way to get back at rich people is to make them into poor people.

Clearly the objective of the Democrats is to delay the Flynn case past the November election, hoping that Biden and whoever will be elected, resulting in the old Obama crew returning to the DOJ and withdrawing the current pending DOJ motion to withdraw the charge in Sullivan's Court, that is still pending formal conviction and sentencing.
In any case the Democrats do not want Flynn out there during the run up to the election, with the charge against him dropped, free to tell his story, and disclose all the old foreign policy bones and intelligence failures, that he became aware of during his time in the Obama-Biden Administration, before he was fired by Obama because of a foreign policy disagreement regarding the Islamist terrorists. By now there is ample evidence that the federal courts have been highly politicized. Let’s see what happens.

It might be easy for us to sit here and write our opinions on what should happen in this case. My thoughts are how long do we expect General Flynn to be dragged through the mud. How long is this man to suffer? How much more money is he expected to put into his defense? I think it should end now. I think it's time to stop the hell this family is going through. To heck with with the Judge. Everyone knows he is trying to drag it out because he was asked to do it! It will probably be a nice payoff in his pocket if he can pull this off! No! Do not let them do this. Stop it now!

Let's not forget one thing...the "delays" in this case were all by mutual agreement by both Flynn and DOJ, which the court permitted. The facts are that Sullivan bent over for Flynn when he inherited the case, asking Flynn whether he wished to withdraw his plea. Flynn himself told Sullivan no. Sullivan suggested he take some time to think it over. Those trashing Sullivan are barking up a tree for no reason. Flynn is jammed by his own doing. DOJ is leaving the judge holding the bag for all its lying. Sulivan is not happy in that situation. Stop reading the polemicists' accounts and pay attention to the actual case here. Sullivan is trying to get to the truth and it seems no one wants him to do that. Because Flynn has some stuff to answer for? He's in his own stew.
