Joe Biden’s presidential campaign raised $3.5 million in a fundraiser co-hosted with Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), a top contender to be the former vice president’s running mate this November. The hefty haul was fueled by contributions from 1,400 donors Tuesday, a boost for a presidential candidate who is precluded from holding in-person events due to the coronavirus.Tuesday’s fundraiser marked the second-largest take so far this cycle for Biden, who raised $4 million at one event earlier this month. The virtual fundraisers represent some of the few opportunities Biden has to appear with potential vice presidential picks

1400 people averaging $2500 ea. shows me that there are 1400 people with more money than sense, for donating to a candidate that wakes up in a different world every day.

The Camel got her nose in the tent. Money talks while something else walks. I believe that something else is known as Stacy Abrams. Its all about the Benjamins and the fantasy governor of Georgia doesn't have the skills (shall we say) of Camel Harris.

Pelosi sent out a copy of a letter she had addressed to the chairs of the Joint Committee on the Library, which manages the National Statuary Hall collection - the 100 statues contributed by states that are on display in Statuary Hall and other places around the U.S. Capitol complex. Each U.S. state gets to contribute two statues and there are currently 11 Confederate figures

Have you heard that a six-block section of Seattle has become an anarchist “capitol hill autonomous zone,” or “CHAZ” for short? It has. Police and firefighters vacated their premises and bugged out with a Twitter blessing from Mayor Jenny Durkan. Durkan dithered over the descent of protests into violence for a week before doing much, and when she did much, her choice was to tweet in hasty retreat. Anarchists quickly set up CHAZ to be and do its own thing, as long as that thing conformed with diktats of the CHAZ hierarchy. They put up makeshift signs saying, “You are now leaving the U.S.A.”
