Turns out desecration is no crime in New York City. The Queens man arrested for scarring the landmarked façade of St. Patrick’s Cathedral during a George Floyd protest is now free—because the Manhattan District Attorney’s office declined to prosecute him. Yadir Avila Rosas, 26, was taken into custody at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, an NYPD spokeswoman told The Post. Police charged Rosas with criminal mischief in the third degree and making graffiti, alleging that he was the “getaway driver” for two women who tagged the famous house of worship with spray-painted slogans on May 30. But an expected Saturday afternoon arraignment never

I'm gonna guess if you vandalize a NYC mosque the decision might be different.

People do what you let them. Okay for one, okay for all to tear up the place. "No fear" indeed.
Bring back the draft. Let them "get it out of their system" in a foreign country and see how it works.

But twenty-three faith leaders from different religions, Baptist, Quaker, Catholic, Presbyterian, Unitarian called President Trump's standing in front of a church in D.C. holding a bible 'blasphemous and unconstitutional.
Instead of a bible, I guess he should have showed up with a can of spray paint and tagged the building.

No, he should have showed up with a Koran and Prayer Rug then these so-called faith healers would have had nothing to say, but rather praised him for being inclusive.

Repairs should come out of the DA's budget. The current turmoil really shows the weakness of dem leaders, all over the country. They need to be thrown out of office. What's the sense of looking for perpetrators if they're not going to be prosecuted?

The actions of DA's all over the country are not because of weakness. Many are part of the vanguard of the revolution. They apply justice in an obviously biased fashion, stoking the distrust of everyone and inciting lawlessness.

Someone paints the "F" word on the outside of St. Patrick's Cathedral and Cardinal Dolan says nothing???
Of course, all kinds of crimes have been exposed in our government now for years and nothing ever happens to anyone. They get jobs on MSNBC. But, to have someone paint F*** on the outside of a house of worship in America, and they walk??? And I blame someone like Cardinal Dolan as much as the crappy justice system we have now in our country.

At first I thought the reason the Democrat mayors and governors standing by and letting mobs loot, burn and attack people was because they were incompetent and gutless. The fact that they now attack the police for trying to stop the mobs convinces me that they are in league with the mobs. Why else would they attack those trying to end the violence.

I think I will ask God to grant him faith. That is probably what the Cardinal is praying so there will two of us at least.

Could we have even imagined any of this lunacy twenty years ago? I'm guessing that a meteor landed somewhere and the radiation is driving half of the population nuts.

Graffiti is expensive and time consuming to remove. Sue in civil court for the cost of restoration.

Well, then if you they won't prosecute crimes they might just as well get rid of the police. What good are they. Let these big cities rot...

If Democrat Mayors and attorneys general refuse to uphold the law with respect to rioters, looters, and assaults... What makes you think they'll care about voter fraud in November?
Rule of law MUST be enforced. Giuliani showed us why decades ago and its even more important today

Destroy the DA's home and see what happens, Radical attorney's have infiltrated every level of government, from the FBI to local prosecutor's offices. Don't you think a jury should decide, not one rogue prosecutor?

How can we uphold the law anymore when the media outright LIES about everything and makes those who try to enforce the rule of law (e.g. POTUS) are demonized and made to look like power abusers??
I am at the end of my rope. I can't deal anymore...The Devil has been having a field day and the evil leftists have completely triumphed in their effort to destroy our society using the four stages of ideological subversion.

Maybe the perpetrator is an illegal alien, in New York City these days those favored foreigners automatically receive a pass.

Stay proud, New York. Perhaps Señor Rosas was also an illegal alien, a status that confers certain privileges in progressive enclaves.
