Chaos is now Donald Trump’s biggest threat

For most of Donald Trump’s brief political career, chaos has been his friend. He draws energy from an endless storm of difficulties and controversies that would send most presidents into the fetal position. Critics and supporters alike compare his presidency to a reality television show, one that always ends with the leading man getting the last word. From Russia, Russia, Russia to Ukraine and impeachment, Trump’s time in the White House has been a continuing roller-coaster ride between danger on one side and disaster on the other.

The biggest threat is overreaching with these latest riots. These are not Federal issues, but local. Let these mayors, mostly liberal, and state authorities stew in what they have wrought. PDT needs to stay away from this “crisis” and the temptation to “do something.”

Since the virus didn't work and people are out and about, we needed another crisis. This is the one. Purpose: put people back inside to prevent Trump rallies from happening and the big one: voting by mail.

This is all by design. They are trying to blame Trump for this, but once again it will not work. Do you want to live in a country where the dems support those who feel the need to destroy other peoples lives for NO REASON, or do people want someone who believes in law and order? Are the dems really this dumb? YES they are. Hey Whitmer, where are you now, I've heard nothing from you....

"For most of Donald Trump’s brief political career, chaos has been his friend." And it still is. Why? It is because of something that the media absolutely refuses to give Trump credit for. Trump is an extremely capable and competent person. Houdini didn't escape from traps because he was lucky; he understood the traps and he calculated how to escape them and he practiced and built his skills. He also had significant innate ability. Trump is just THAT GOOD. Goodwin worries about "Trump fatigue" but Trump is not generating these issues. It is the pack of rabid, yapping dogs chasing after him. Trump is the most examined man ever and they cannot find ANYTHING significant to pin on him. Everything they throw at him not only fails but embarrassingly implodes against the pack. Mueller went down in flames. Impeachment was absurd. Evidence is now coming out that the people that launched these efforts had no evidence whatsoever and acted criminally in their actions against Trump and many others. The rational public is aware of this. The media chitters and jumps about like a troop of flying monkeys yet they get repeatedly embarrassed as obvious truths are quickly revealed. Their declining credibility polls show the public is aware of this as well. Unlike BJ Clintoon's bimbo eruptions, none of the accusations against Trump have proven reliable, even though Trump, as a bachelor, had numerous women accompanying him. There are continuous accusations of racism that are ridiculous and go nowhere no matter how excited the dogs and monkeys get. The public is currently in favor of Trump's actions in dealing with the coronavirus and Republican governors are also having success. Meanwhile, Andy Cuomo, who the media were swooning over, has been exposed as incompetent and deadly. If you take New York out of the mix, the US as a whole has done amazingly well. Who is in charge of NY? Andy. Tech bias, WHO, China are all breaking in Trump's favor. People put the blame on China and want us to pull away. They also consider WHO was a major failure. Tech has a shaky position. While people want tech, they don't trust the tech giants. The riots are an evolving situation. In general however, a violent response is never acceptable. Trump has pointed out that riots hurt the cause more than they help and that there is a limit as to how much damage is "acceptable" before there is a response. We are seeing streams of Black owners being put out of business. The results in other cities that have reacted like this in the past is a hollowed out, no go zone for business and community. If Trump was just a lightning rod but had no benefits perhaps voters might consider a change. But Trump has brought numerous and varied benefits to the American People. Part of the lightning he attracts is people fanatically opposed to his actions. Over all, Trump has been masterful in dealing with the challenges, often many steps ahead of his detractors. The public IS aware of this. Beyond that, is anyone going to think senile, gropey, "you ain't Black" Biden could do a better job? Weekly chaos, of HIS OWN MAKING, is swirling around Biden as well.

The term “anti-fascist” began as a lie. It remains a lie today. Clueless commentators, ignorant of its history, have been known to refer to the "antifa" movement as “strictly principled anti-fascists,” or a group that “protests fascism.” In fact, this is a movement of violent extremists whose philosophy traces back to the early 20th century. The riots now raging in U.S. cities are not about police misconduct. They haven’t been for many days. The senseless and callous police killing of George Floyd inspired peaceful protests at first, but now it has become an excuse for a troupe of professional revolutionaries and marauders. They use these incidents in order to flex their muscle

Are you against murder? Of course you are. Murder is not merely illegal, but also morally wrong, and you would never advocate or condone murder. What about racism? Are you also against racism? Certainly, every American can be expected to condemn prejudice, racial hatred, and unjust discrimination. There is widespread agreement in our society that racism is a bad thing, and therefore it may be assumed that everyone reading this was horrified by the video of George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis. Four police officers involved in Floyd’s arrest were dismissed from the force, and one of them, Derek Chauvin, has been charged with third-degree murder.

Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden said Monday police should be trained to shoot at the legs of assailants, which police training experts decry as impractical and dangerous. "We also have to fundamentally change the way police are trained," he said. "The idea that instead of standing there and teaching a cop when there's an unarmed person that's coming at them with a knife so they shoot him in the leg instead of in the heart, is a very different thing. There's a lot of different things that can change." Biden addressed parishioners and local leaders at a black church in Wilmington, Delaware,

As a columnist and pundit, it’s usually a lot easier to hammer out good content on small, self-contained items. Some politician says something stupid. Some economic study pops out and either destroys or reinforces some narrative. And so forth. But the events of the last week, in which a bad Minneapolis cop killed an arrestee by kneeling on his neck — which practically everybody in America agrees was a criminal act deserving criminal charges, and those charges came to Derek Chauvin by the end of last week — and then almost three dozen cities erupted in violence purportedly as a result, make it a lot more difficult to offer punditry.

Restoring order to America’s cities isn’t a complicated proposition. All it requires is resources and determination, and a firm rejection of the longstanding progressive fallacy that an overwhelming police presence is “provocative” and “escalatory” and must be avoided. As has been established across decades of civil disturbances, it is police passivity that emboldens mobs. When the cops stand by, or don’t show up or, even worse, run away, it is a permission slip for destruction. They might as well supply the spray paint, bricks and hammers for the crowds, and beckon them into the local Target or Nike store to take whatever they want.

Around 150 got hauled into custody last night, while police and National Guard used some of the intelligence gleaned to seize materials for use in more arsons:

I thought Sarah Huckabee Sanders was the greatest White House press spokesperson of all time because of the way she treated the press corps (that’s pronounced “core,” Mr. Obama) like unruly and slow-learning kindergarten kids, as they deserve to be treated. But Kayleigh McEnany has turned it up to 11, not only treating the press corps like children, but as the enemy as well, which they are. One week ago, just as it was true one year ago, Amy Klobuchar was obviously the best bet to serve as Joe Biden's running mate. A wildly popular swing state senator who had boosted her national profile with a respectable presidential run, Klobuchar clearly could cement Biden's popularity with suburban women. Those women are the key cohort who sat out in 2016, handing the White House to President Trump but crucially delivering Democrats the House of Representatives just two years later. Klobuchar fulfilled the first rule of running mates — first, do no harm — and provided an obvious advantage with the Electoral College map.
